Chapter 1138: The Strongest Guest Lineup in History (First Update)

The leaders of the Alliance and the Horde had just taken their seats when even more leaders arrived.

However, many of these were unfamiliar faces, and the players only learned their names by pulling up the interface to observe them.

The result was that the players were instantly stunned speechless.

"Whoa, Archmage Khadgar?? But this guy doesn't have a beard, so why is that herb called Khadgar's Whiskers?"

"Malfurion Stormrage! That bird-man elder is here too, not sleeping anymore? Ah, he sat down next to Tyrande, another single dog takes a critical hit!"

"Hey, isn't that old man Tirion Fordring from the Plaguelands?"

"Who's that female orc? Garona? And who's that? Eitrigg?"

"That crow... Holy crap, it's Medivh!"

And further away, one familiar face after another appeared.

"Whoa, isn't that Ragnaros? And Deathwing... Damn, all the bosses are coming over here..."

"Who's that over there? Holy crap, Illidan!!"

Even further away, Illidan, Lady Vashj, Kael'thas, and a host of blood elves and naga had all arrived. However, these guys, who had already been turned into dungeon bosses, had no seats and could only stand.

Illidan still held immense prestige among the player base, so many players were craning their necks to see what Illidan from World of Warcraft actually looked like.

But Illidan completely ignored the excited players, instead gazing into the distance toward the Alliance leaders, his eyes fixed entirely on Tyrande.

Even further away, the Scourge appeared: Arthas, Frost Wyrms, Kel'Thuzad, the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse... The Scourge, which cast a shadow over all of Azeroth, was now sitting obediently in the distance, though they looked thoroughly displeased.

Further still, the Burning Legion appeared: the fallen Titan Sargeras, Archimonde, Kil'jaeden...

But this wasn't the end. In the even farther distance, vague figures of giants could be seen—these were the members of the Pantheon: the Highfather Aman'Thul, the Moon Goddess Elune, the Life-Binder Eonar, the Shaper Khaz'goroth, the Dreamer Norgannon, the Unmaker Argus...

The players were overwhelmed, their eyes darting between the countless legendary figures, unsure of who to focus on.

However, on the side facing the players, many seats were still empty. Just as the players were wondering who these seats were reserved for, a series of familiar characters began to enter.

This time, an even greater cheer erupted from the player crowd, because these were the protagonists from most of the games Chen Mo had created so far.

Leading the way was a cute, goofy Peashooter, still spitting peas randomly at the audience; following behind was A'mooti; then came Dongfang Weiming from *Martial Heroes*, Seimei from *Onmyoji*, Tyrael from *Diablo*, Wilson from *Don't Starve*, Steve from *Minecraft*...

Behind them were the flagship champions of *League of Legends*: Garen, the Might of Demacia, and Darius, the Hand of Noxus. The players also accurately spotted Yasuo, the wind-chasing edgelord, amidst the crowd. The audience immediately erupted in boos, but Yasuo swiftly E-flashed past, vividly demonstrating the phrase, "As long as I E fast enough, my teammates' question marks can't catch up."

Further back, Benny Fodi, whose lower half was in a pot, swung his hammer as he kept pace with the others.

Then came the heroes of *Overwatch*: the towering Reinhardt, Mei, the Shimada brothers, and the dragon girl Ao Wei.

Next, the red-capped Super Mario walked ahead with Princess Peach, while Cappy performed fancy somersaults on his head. The green-capped hero Link walked behind, arm-in-arm with Princess Zelda. When Mipha and the other three Champions appeared, the audience erupted in cheers.

Then came a very low-key Ashen One, this useless fellow holding a wooden shield in his left hand and a chicken leg in his right, which ironically drew even louder cheers.

Right behind him was the Dishonorable Foreigner. These two brothers in misery received thunderous applause, leaving them utterly bewildered as to why they were so popular.

After them came Alex Mercer from *Prototype*; and a figure clearly from *PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds*, wearing a Level 3 helmet and holding a frying pan, very conspicuous. Then came Nathan Drake from *Uncharted*, accompanied by his wife, daughter, good brother Sam, and best buddy Sully, all dressed in formal attire, polite as gentlemen. Joel from *The Last of Us* arrived with Ellie, and the little girl also earned a wave of cheers.

Then came the Pokémon from the Pokémon world. The moment the yellow-skinned Pikachu appeared, it triggered a wave of screams, with some Hunters itching to try and capture it as a pet. Following them were the protagonists of *Assassin's Creed*: Altaïr, Ezio, Connor, Aveline, Edward, Shay, Arno, the Frye twins, Bayek... all in their neat Assassin outfits, looking incredibly cool.

Next were the protagonists of two horror games: Miles Upshur from *Outlast* and James Sunderland from *Silent Hill*. These two brothers in misery had been scared into cowards in their games, but here they seemed very cheerful, even waving to the audience.

Then came the Hunters from *Monster Hunter*. Unfortunately, there was no seat reserved for the twin-tailed Nergigante, so the monsters couldn't attend. Following them were the three protagonists of *Detroit: Become Human*: the negotiation-breaking Connor came with his good partner, Lieutenant Hank; Kara still held little Alice's hand; and Markus pushed the elderly painter Carl, with North walking beside him.

Behind them were the three good buddies from *Grand Theft Auto V*: Franklin, Trevor, and Michael. Michael came with his wife and two children, behaving very gentlemanly. However, Trevor made a very rude gesture toward the audience, sparking a wave of laughter.

Batman and the Joker walked over together, the Joker bouncing around and provoking Batman in every way, but Batman remained unmoved. Behind them, Iron Man arrived with Pepper Potts, shamelessly winking at the female players in the audience.

Walking in last were Kratos and his son Atreus. Atreus, clearly not used to such a grand scene, was a bit intimidated and instinctively hid behind his father. Kratos, having seen far too many grand spectacles, remained completely unfazed.

However, when the audience erupted in thunderous cheers, he was still startled, almost instinctively reaching for the axe on his back.

With the arrival of these protagonists, the venue was now packed. The seats were arranged around the magical city of Dalaran. At the very center were the five Dragon Aspects. Surrounding them were the leaders of the Alliance, Horde, neutral factions, and protagonists "transmigrated" from other games. Further out were the players. And on the side facing the players, the Scourge, the Burning Legion, and the various Titans served as the backdrop.
