# Chapter 473: Second Death
The colorful crystal shards grew like spears emerging from the air, piercing through the ten escorts. Eight of them died instantly, with only the two guarding the coffin box still clinging to life. They seemed to have used special props to block the attack of the air crystal shards, but this attack was different from others—even though they intercepted the crystal shards head-on, the severed areas still sprouted more crystal branches like blooming flowers, and once they entered the human body, whether bone or internal organs, they rapidly turned to powder!
Everyone present had witnessed how formidable these ten escorts were. They had faced the alien tide without losing a single person, even with some time-space props restricted in use. Yet Lawrence Li, without even showing himself, could kill them in a single blow. Props and traits were utterly useless!
Two seconds later, Lawrence Li appeared on the train's locomotive, with a cage beside him containing the female blood alien who had nearly been killed by Director Yuan earlier.
Director Yuan wasn't dead yet. He stared at Lawrence Li with a strange smile, then slapped the coffin box!
The five sides of the coffin box peeled away, collapsing to reveal a rectangular glass cabinet. Inside, contrary to Xu Huo's earlier speculation of a living person or corpse, was a cabinet full of pink gas. As the coffin box opened, a mechanical hum emanated from the glass cabinet, and in an instant, the glass shattered, sending massive amounts of pink gas surging in all directions through the shockwave!
On and around the train, whether alien or human, anyone who touched or inhaled this gas died instantly!
Xu Huo died once more. When he opened his eyes again, Lawrence Li had just appeared on the locomotive. He immediately shouted, "Don't open the coffin!"
This was precisely the moment Director Yuan raised his hand. Alerted by the warning, Lawrence Li pointed a single finger forward. Director Yuan's arm was quickly encased in crystal shards and turned to powder. At the same time, the same crystal shards sealed the coffin, removed the two obstructive hands growing on it, and severed the heads of Director Yuan and another player from a distance.
Director Yuan and his ten men died too quickly and too easily, like ten ants on the roadside, their lives carrying no weight. Yet upon reflection, it made one realize how terrifying super players were. Ordinary advanced players might still have a chance to fight to the death, but facing a super player, lying down and accepting fate was probably the only option.
So when the crystal shards on the coffin box disappeared, the surviving Vivi and her two companions didn't dare to take it, nor did they dare to look at it much.
At this moment, the remaining blood aliens nearby had been conveniently cleaned up by Lawrence Li. The train continued forward, but the only sound came from the female blood alien locked in the cage.
Xu Huo stood on the third carriage, his gaze fixed straight ahead, landing on Lawrence Li.
At such a short distance, Lawrence Li also looked at him. His emerald-green eyes were no different from when he boarded the train, showing no additional emotion.
Two time rewinds—Lawrence Li couldn't possibly be unaware that Xu Huo carried a super prop on him. Now, whenever he wanted, he could take that prop from Xu Huo.
The train hadn't reached the station yet, and Xu Huo absolutely couldn't escape from a super player's grasp.
Their eyes met in confrontation. He didn't retreat half a step.
The train sped up, the airflow growing stronger. The howling wind gradually drowned out all other sounds. After a brief silence, Lawrence Li, the cage, and the coffin box vanished from the train.
Knowing the man had left, Xu Huo finally breathed a secret sigh of relief. He pulled down Dr. Deng, who was still howling in the sky, and dragged him toward the first carriage.
Out of fear, Vivi and her two companions also moved closer to the wind-sheltered area. Both sides stayed behind the locomotive without incident.
Dr. Deng had been flown like a kite. Although his protective suit had prevented physical injury, the psychological trauma seemed considerable. He couldn't even stand, sitting on the ground trembling, staring at Xu Huo for a long time without being able to speak.
Xu Huo was in a terrible mood. Expressionless and with a frigid tone, he said, "It seems you'd rather stay on the train killing aliens."
Dr. Deng couldn't help swallowing his saliva. "That's not what I meant."
"You'd better behave yourself," Xu Huo said. "You haven't stopped since Lawrence Li appeared. You deliberately revealed that you worked at Stellar Pharmaceuticals, that you're a pharmacology doctor, and that you've done some research on evolution aftereffects. Do you really not know the threat of advanced players?"
"No—you just wanted to attract Lawrence Li's attention. In other words, you wanted him to take you away."
"You weren't kidnapped multiple times because you were outspoken, but because you consciously chose your targets. As for why, I don't need to spell it out for you, do I?"
The nervous Dr. Deng gradually calmed down. Instead of being flustered at being exposed, he smiled and said, "You're really clever. What you said is correct, but there's no need to take it out on me. After all, you're only a D-level player. There's nothing you can do against Lawrence Li. But you're a very outstanding person, and I believe you'll grow quickly."
"And you're quite lucky too. Lawrence Li didn't kill you."
At the end, Lawrence Li's attention had clearly only lingered on Xu Huo, not even glancing at Vivi and her two companions. And Xu Huo had shouted "Don't open the coffin" just as Director Yuan was about to act. Dr. Deng had already seen through it—since Director Yuan and his men's time-space props were unusable, and Lawrence Li didn't need to use time-space props at all, it was evident that Xu Huo must have a very good time-space prop on him.
Lawrence Li's attention probably came from that.
That's why Dr. Deng said he was lucky—Lawrence Li hesitated and didn't kill him to take the prop.
Xu Huo was naturally aware of this too. A flash of murderous intent passed through his eyes. If Lawrence Li really wanted to take the super prop, the only thing that could make him change his mind was revealing everything about the perfect evolution. And since ticket-holding players were difficult to imprison, even if successful, the best outcome would be having his player status suspended and becoming a test subject, or having his limbs severed and being kept alive... Such consequences were worse than death!
In his fury, he coldly looked at Vivi's father, who had attacked him without warning. Using the "Star-Binding Sphere" to interfere with his mental state, he brought him into his own spiritual realm at the fastest speed.
Previously, he could only use props to interfere with players in poor mental states, unable to project his spiritual realm outward. But after his evolution rate increased, releasing and retracting it suddenly came naturally. Although Vivi's father was not low-level, his physical and mental states were both poor, so he fell for it immediately.
His defensive awareness was strong. He immediately used props to spread protection around himself, not giving Xu Huo a chance to approach. But Xu Huo had no intention of approaching him anyway. He stepped aside two paces and expressionlessly watched him jump off the train.
