Chapter 331: The End

"How dare you." Xuanwu said coldly, "You have five seconds to pass the question."

"You crazy woman!!" Di Snake felt a sudden panic in his heart, his legs going weak, and the iron ball he had finally lifted clattered to the ground. "Stop nagging, nagging, nagging! Nag your mother!"

Xuanwu waited silently outside the door for a few seconds, then reached out and opened it.

But her way of opening the door was different from the others. She pulled the door sideways, and the wooden door was crushed into powder.

"Di Snake, violation, death."

Xuanwu waved her hand lightly. All the metal in front of her seemed to be cut by some invisible force, wobbling and turning into small cubes, which then scattered all over the floor like beans.

However, the force she used was not small. The walls on both sides of Di Snake's room were also slashed open, allowing Chen Junnan and Xu Qian to see each other.

"Di Snake, death."

Seeing Xuanwu's appearance, Di Snake immediately sat down on the floor.

"Wait a minute!!" Di Snake shouted. "I-I can make the call now! I'll make it right now!!"

"Too late."

"Too late...?"

Di Snake's heart hardened and his eyes glared. Without waiting for Xuanwu to make a move, he immediately thrust his palm toward her chest.

Xuanwu didn't dodge, letting his hand pierce through her body.

Di Snake only felt his hand sink into something like straw—an empty, scattered sensation.

Xuanwu's body didn't feel like ordinary flesh at all.

"Oh...?" Xuanwu paused slightly, a glimmer of delight appearing in her eyes. "You want to kill me?"

Hearing this, the blood in Di Snake's entire body ran cold.

"I was wrong! Wrong, wrong!" He yanked his hand back. "I don't dare kill you... it's all a misunderstanding..."

"You don't even dare to kill me..."

The delight in Xuanwu's eyes gradually turned into disappointment. Then she slowly raised her hand into the air and gently clenched it. Something purple-red and wriggling was now clutched in her grasp.

Looking closely, she was holding a foul-smelling, constantly beating heart.

"Ah!!" Di Snake clutched his chest and screamed, "You crazy woman! Why won't you let me go?!"

Completely losing his mind, he kept cursing, "You don't even wear clothes! Do you even know what you are?! How dare you think you can kill me?!"

"How dare you." Xuanwu casually squeezed, and the purple-red heart burst like a firework in her hand.

Di Snake sucked in a sharp breath, spewing a mouthful of blood, then slowly collapsed onto the floor, clutching his chest.

Chen Junnan and Xu Qian witnessed this scene, but could only stare wide-eyed, not daring to make a single sound.

Xu Qian even covered her own mouth.

This woman named Xuanwu was truly terrifying. Her hair draped over her body like a garment, but her icy gaze pierced through the strands, sending chills down anyone's spine.

Her method of killing was also unusual—it didn't seem like enhanced physique or "Echo," but rather magic.

"Heh... cough..." Di Snake wasn't dead yet, crawling forward bit by bit on the floor. "I didn't... come away empty-handed though..."

He inched closer and closer to Xuanwu. "The most feared woman... in all of 'The End'... cough... Since I'm dying anyway... let me touch you... see what's so different about you from others..."

He parted Xuanwu's long hair that trailed to the ground and reached out to touch her leg.

Xuanwu waved her hand lightly, and Di Snake's entire arm flew off.

"How dare you."

Xuanwu extended both hands, her fingers moving slightly as if playing a guqin in the air. Then Di Snake's body was sliced into segments, like meat hacked apart by a flurry of blades.

Each piece of his body twitched individually before stopping one after another.

The evil Earth-level Zodiac, who had committed countless atrocities, died like a beast in Xuanwu's hands.

"The life-or-death gamble ends here." Xuanwu said in a low voice, "The game is over."

She waved her hand lightly, and all the participants' doors swung open. From most of the rooms, the crushed flesh and blood poured out, merging with a foul stench into a horrifying river of gore.

"Everyone's 'Dao' is here." Xuanwu raised her hand again, and from the podium at the center of the venue, forty-eight Dao flew out and lay quietly on the ground. "Di Snake's corpse and the venue are yours to divide. Farewell."

The four survivors who could still move stepped out of their rooms: Yan Zhichun, Zhong Zhen, Xu Qian, and Yun Yao. They looked around but saw no trace of Xuanwu—it seemed she had already left.

"Where's Chen Junnan?!" Yun Yao was the first to react, then ran to the neighboring room to check inside.

A single glance made her suck in a sharp breath.

Chen Junnan's entire body was covered in deep wounds from iron spikes. Due to the massive blood loss, it was hard to tell where one wound ended and another began.

"Chen..."

Yun Yao rushed to Chen Junnan's side and looked him over. He was still bleeding profusely. "You... you..."

Xu Qian followed closely behind.

It was the first time she seriously looked at Chen Junnan's face. She had only heard his voice before and assumed he was a rather sleazy guy, but she didn't expect him to be quite handsome.

"Hey... are you dying?" Xu Qian asked.

"Hey? That voice—you're Sister Qian?" Chen Junnan forced himself to stand. "I didn't expect Sister Qian to be such a beauty... Your little master is fine. I still need to go back and show off to Old Qi. How could I kick the bucket here?"

As soon as he finished speaking, Chen Junnan's body completely lost control, toppling forward like a felled tree. Yun Yao quickly reached out and caught him.

Chen Junnan's body felt very light.

Xu Qian started to reach out as well, but silently withdrew her hand. It seemed that the girl next to him and Chen Junnan were a pair—both were strikingly good-looking. Probably a couple, right?

"Big star... let me go..." Chen Junnan steadied himself again and pushed away Yun Yao's hand. "Your young master has always stood tall against the wind since childhood. I can't trouble you..."

"Come on, stop pretending." Yun Yao said helplessly. "If I don't hold you up, you can't even make it back..."

"Your young master isn't afraid of death." Chen Junnan smiled. "My physical condition really is a bit rough. I'll find a good spot to die soon. The task of spreading my glorious deeds is yours..."

"Don't talk nonsense." Yun Yao said. "Stand up. I'll carry you back."

"You...?" Chen Junnan chuckled. "Your young master doesn't want to wear you out..."

"I've been dancing for ten years; I'm fitter than the average person. There's a doctor in your room, right?" Yun Yao draped Chen Junnan's arm over her shoulder. "If we can find a doctor, you might still be saved."

Chen Junnan looked a bit uncomfortable, constantly pulling his arm back.

"Oh..." Yun Yao was amused by him. "Don't overthink it. I don't like guys."

"I know... your young master knows... but it still feels a bit abrupt..."

As they were talking, a strange noise came from the other side. Xu Qian turned her head with them, only to see Zhong Zheng—his face covered in blood—rushing out and already grasping Yan Zhichun by the throat.
