Chapter 1339: The Wanderer

The moment the wall of flesh held back the Heavenly Dragon, several enormous bone spikes shot up from the ground, stabbing toward the Heavenly Dragon's body.

Qi Xia had been walking forward the entire time, without ever looking back.

The Heavenly Dragon clenched his fist tightly, and countless stone spikes materialized out of thin air, shattering all the bone spikes.

Then the Heavenly Dragon stamped his feet, activated "Levitation," and soared upward, instantly escaping the attack range of the flesh. From high in the sky, he dove toward Qi Xia like a falcon.

As they were about to make contact, Qi Xia closed his eyes. At that moment, the fleshy ground beneath his feet split open like a mouth, swallowing Qi Xia whole. Then the crack vanished without a trace.

The Heavenly Dragon's attack, as expected, hit nothing but air.

After landing, he cautiously scanned his surroundings. Qi Xia had disappeared somewhere, and only a few scattered pedestrians were nearby.

Those pedestrians seemed to realize that a fight was happening and gathered at a distance to watch warily.

Just as the Heavenly Dragon hesitated, the carousel beside him suddenly began spinning violently.

The "meat horses" struggled free from their skeletal restraints and charged toward the Heavenly Dragon at full speed.

The Heavenly Dragon focused his gaze and couldn't help but look baffled. All the "meat horses" were barely assembled into the shape of horses using human corpses, yet their facial features were still human.

Just as this herd of meat horses closed in, the Heavenly Dragon swung his hand. A large portion of them turned to powder, but a few remained—unaffected by the "Disintegration"—and charged through the cloud of blood mist.

The Heavenly Dragon clenched his hand again, and multiple enormous stone spikes jutted up from the ground, skewering all the meat horses.

These monsters, cobbled together from corpses, were strung up like meat kebabs on the spikes, flailing and writhing in the air, letting out horrible screeches.

Before the Heavenly Dragon could even catch his breath, the flesh beneath his feet began to churn. The ground around him formed a giant hand, as if trying to crush him alive.

At the last possible moment, he activated "Levitation," leaping high from the enormous flesh hand, hovering in midair with both feet treading on nothing.

He slowly adjusted his breathing, but out of the corner of his eye, he saw something abnormally large flying toward him.

Turning his head, he saw a runaway flesh pendulum swinging in a bizarre arc from the ground, curving upward and hurtling toward the Heavenly Dragon in the sky.

The Heavenly Dragon quickly raised his hand and swung violently. The massive flesh pendulum gradually turned to meat pulp in midair, but at the same time, the Heavenly Dragon felt a wave of dizziness.

What filled him with despair was that less than a few seconds after the giant pendulum turned to pulp, fresh flesh grew back, gradually replenishing the entire hammer head.

The Heavenly Dragon could only channel all his "Faith" into "Disintegration" before he finally shattered the colossal pendulum swinging up into the sky.

The Heavenly Dragon knew this couldn't go on. Fighting entirely with "Disintegration"—how long could he hold out?

What's more, these things could never be "disintegrated" completely. They all came from "Endless Regeneration." The entire amusement park seemed to be Bai Yang's weapon.

But Bai Yang hadn't even shown his face. Why was the situation so bizarre...?

Bai Yang had clearly overdrawn a tremendous amount of Faith, yet the "Divine Art" he was unleashing now was fiercer than ever before. His leisurely demeanor moments ago didn't seem like he was using a "Divine Art" at all—it was more like...

Casually waving away a swarm of insects.

"Bai Yang!!" the Heavenly Dragon shouted from the sky. "Weren't you going to settle things with me?! What's the point of hiding?"

Many people in the amusement park began to look up at the Heavenly Dragon, but he couldn't find any trace of Qi Xia.

"Bai Yang!!" the Heavenly Dragon roared in the sky. "Come out!"

The Heavenly Dragon raised his hand, and a huge stone suddenly appeared in the sky. With a thought, the stone plummeted from the height.

*Smack!*

The enormous stone hit the fleshy ground with a strange sound, as if it had cracked something.

Many customers playing in the amusement park seemed to realize something was wrong and began fleeing toward the exit.

"Bai Yang!!"

The Heavenly Dragon shouted, summoning numerous giant stones to hover high above, then let them fall like meteors.

A strange, loud rain of impacts began to echo through the amusement park.

No matter how hard the Heavenly Dragon tried, he couldn't find Qi Xia's trace, and his mood gradually grew irritable.

The next second, an even more massive object emerged in the corner of the Heavenly Dragon's vision. It roared and whimpered like a huge, pale beast.

Because of its sheer size, the Heavenly Dragon was utterly shocked. He hastily retreated, flying tens of meters away, only then realizing that the thing coming at him was a pirate ship made of giant ribs and flesh.

This ship leaped into the air as if it had sprouted wings, whimpering as it crashed toward him.

Seeing no way to avoid it, the Heavenly Dragon immediately brought his hands before his chest and activated "Disintegration" once more.

Qi Xia stood not far away, looking up at this scene, and shook his head helplessly.

People nearby were quickly fleeing the scene. Who knew if this world could withstand the Heavenly Dragon's rampage?

This should be the commercial street of the amusement park. Not only were there fleshy store buildings that resembled towers, but the people playing nearby were also dressed in all sorts of bizarre outfits.

Qi Xia looked down at where the huge stones had landed and thought... this might be the first time stones had ever appeared in this world.

Some of the giant boulders had smashed into the ground, even cracking the surface, revealing the pitch-black color beneath.

Qi Xia leaped onto one of the stones and waved his hand lightly. Flesh began to spread over the cracks, covering them up.

A few seconds later, he heard some noise behind him.

Turning around, he saw that in the pitch-black crack between several buildings, a hand was reaching into this world from the void space.

It was a live person's hand.

Qi Xia was momentarily stunned, his mind a bit chaotic.

Someone... wandering outside the space...?

That hand, whether intentionally or accidentally, grabbed the edge of the crack and tore off a fragment, making the crack larger.

Fortunately, everyone nearby was busy fleeing and didn't notice anything unusual about the crack.

Qi Xia frowned, pondering the current situation—

A person wandering outside the space... which space and which time did they come from?

If you wanted to say they were lucky, they actually managed to find a door they could enter within the void space.

If you wanted to say they were unlucky, the door they found happened to be the battlefield between him and the Heavenly Dragon.

At the same moment in the sky, the giant rib pirate ship gradually turned to powder before contacting the Heavenly Dragon's body. But the ship's flying speed was far faster than his "Disintegration." By the time the Heavenly Dragon had only decomposed two-thirds of the ship, the remaining part slammed into him like a train.

The ship's whimper and the earth-shattering collision exploded in the sky.

This series of events finally overwhelmed the Heavenly Dragon. He plummeted straight from the height, landing not far from the crack.

Qi Xia paid no attention to the Heavenly Dragon's direction. He simply stared at the hand reaching out from the crack, knowing that a "new variable" had appeared again.

But everything that needed to be done was already done. No matter what variable appeared, it wouldn't have any effect.

Still, for someone to struggle and try to enter from the void space—wasn't that too absurd?

Truly, "Heaven has a road, but you refuse to walk it; Hell has no door, yet you barge right in."

He walked sideways to the crack and muttered, "Ridiculous," then waved his hand.

A large patch of flesh began to grow wildly at the crack, sealing both the crack and the person inside it.

"Wait... wait a moment..."

A voice came from within the crack—it was a woman.

She clearly wasn't willing to be sealed outside the space and kept scratching at the thick flesh. "Hey, who are you?!"

Qi Xia shook his head and let the flesh cover the crack completely. No matter who was wandering outside, this was no place for them.

After the flesh had fully covered the crack, Qi Xia sighed and said,

"Sorry, I can't save you. Continue doing what you need to do."
