Chapter 1277: Heaven-Class Sweep
Heaven Horse, gripping Earth Horse, had been rapidly "jumping" through the corridor for a while now.
They had entered and exited many rooms but still hadn't found any trace of Heaven Tiger. Even with her heart full of concern for Heaven Tiger, Heaven Horse began to sense something was off.
Entering yet another empty room, Heaven Horse finally lost patience. She slowly released Earth Horse's hand, stood still, and asked with suspicion in her voice:
"Haven't you found my precious grandson yet?"
"No..." Earth Horse shook her head helplessly. "I remember he was definitely in one of these rooms... How is there no one here?"
"This is already a 'Mortal-Class' room." Heaven Horse glanced around the cramped, narrow space. "How could my precious grandson possibly be in a place like this...?"
"Oh...?" Earth Horse let out a soft laugh, then locked the door behind her. "So this is a 'Mortal-Class' room? No wonder it's so small—two people can barely fit without room to move..."
Heaven Horse clasped her hands behind her back, frowning at the strange "Zodiac" before her. "You young one are acting weird... Do you have some kind of plan?"
"Oh, yes." Earth Horse nodded, stepping forward slowly with wounds all over her body. "I have some secrets I'd like to share with you in private. It wouldn't be convenient with outsiders around."
"Secrets?"
"About you and Heaven Tiger. Someone wants both of you dead." Earth Horse's expression turned grave. "If we wait any longer, it'll be too late."
"What...?" Heaven Horse was taken aback. "Who wants us dead? My precious grandson only just learned to walk... Have these people lost their minds? Going after the elderly and children?"
"I'll tell you." Earth Horse took another step forward, gently gripping Heaven Horse's arm. "That madman... is me."
Heaven Horse's eyes widened. The next second, a deafening explosion erupted within the room. Though Heaven Horse had been wary of this strange young woman from the start, she never expected her attack to be so terrifying.
Something detonated inside the room. Heaven Horse couldn't even tell where she was injured, only that she had to dodge quickly. But then she felt a chill in her lower body, and even standing became difficult.
The walls around them were covered in large cracks from the massive blast. Both of them were sent flying, crashing into the walls behind them.
At that moment, two limbs flew across the room, splattering blood through the air.
They finally felt the pain and screamed in unison, but the room was too narrow to avoid the shockwave. The blast rebounded off the walls and knocked them both to the floor.
As the dust settled, Heaven Horse slowly lifted her head and looked at the two severed limbs lying in the center of the room—an arm and a leg.
Gritting her teeth, she felt her lower body and realized one of her legs had been blown off. Blood began pooling on the ground. Earth Horse wasn't in much better shape either—one of her hands was completely shattered, and her other arm was severed at the shoulder. She slumped against the wall, barely conscious.
Heaven Horse could feel that the force of this attack was even greater than an ordinary bomb. Even a "Detonation" ability shouldn't have been able to instantly sever the limbs of two enhanced bodies.
"You..." Heaven Horse propped herself up on the floor, gritting her teeth. "Tian Snake has the 'Twin Flowers'... Blowing off one of my legs won't do you any good. You're just throwing your life away..."
"Ha..." Earth Horse hung her head, leaning against the door, and said quietly, "You damn old hag. Golden Monkey sends his regards."

In the room of Heaven Monkey and Heaven Rooster.
The four of them stood gasping for breath, covered in wounds.
Heaven Rooster and Heaven Monkey were originally a pair of handsome youths, but now their eyes, mouths, and noses were bruised and bloodied. Their injuries were identical, like two sides of a mirror.
"Rooster..." Heaven Monkey said angrily, "Are you still not going to show your third ability?"
"Third ability...?" Heaven Rooster was taken aback, his expression turning irritated. "Do you think we've ended up like this because I haven't used my third ability?"
"You said... that your third ability is what brought you this far and earned you your 'Heaven-Class' status. But you keep calling it your trump card and refuse to show it to me." Heaven Monkey wiped the blood from the corner of her mouth. "If you don't use it soon... we'll be stuck in a tough fight."
"I..." Heaven Rooster fell silent, a hint of hesitation on his handsome face.
"Hahaha... Damn, that's hilarious." Earth Monkey leaned against the wall, laughing loudly beside them. "Little girl Heaven Monkey, he definitely wouldn't dare show you that third ability."
Earth Rooster turned to look at him. "Oh? You figured it out?"
"Yeah, this is way too interesting." Earth Monkey said. "I just want to see when this lovey-dovey couple will turn on each other."
"Turn on each other...?" Heaven Monkey sneered. "How could a fat old man like you possibly understand our unity? Physical appearance is humanity's deadliest advantage. It can even surpass abilities, because all the best resources in this world are tilted toward good-looking people."
Earth Rooster frowned, looking disdainful. "You little girl are even more obsessed than I am... I care about looks, but at least I don't completely ignore character."
"So that's why you're causing trouble for us with that ugly monkey?" Heaven Monkey laughed in anger. "Sister... I really pity you..."
"You're attacking us with words?" Earth Rooster fluffed her feathers. "I think you're the one who doesn't understand the situation. Me and this ugly monkey came in here arguing with each other, but the more we fight, the more in sync we become. Meanwhile, you two lovebirds are getting angrier the more you fight. Are you about to have a quarrel?"
"You..." Heaven Monkey grew even angrier. "Wouldn't you be angry if someone broke into your home and attacked you? Especially since you brought along such an ugly monkey. As fellow 'Zodiac' monkeys, I'm utterly embarrassed."
"What's wrong with an ugly monkey?" Earth Rooster retorted. "You brought a handsome rooster, but I haven't seen him be of any help. When it comes down to a real fight, he's not even as good as my ugly monkey here. Because you two put on a united front but are divided at heart, while me and this ugly monkey would die for each other. Can you two say the same?"
"Die for an ugly monkey... I don't know what's gotten into you."
"Hey, hold on..." Earth Monkey finally couldn't take it anymore. "I thought you two were just shouting at each other, but damn it—every single sentence is an insult aimed at me!"
