Chapter 22: Stand in My Way, and Die!

Seeing Linley step forward, Sekra's expression changed slightly. He was well aware of the strength of the man before him. If Linley interfered, today's matter would become uncertain. Sekra said coldly, "Today, the Bagshaw Clan is determined to kill Hiss. Do you want to die alongside him?"

Linley and the others did not retreat in the slightest.

"Linley, O'Brien, Bebe." Hiss looked at them, shaking his head slightly.

"Haha..." O'Brien laughed loudly, then looked at Hiss. "Hiss, we've lived for so many years. What haven't we seen? Life is important, but sometimes there are things more important than life! Today, either we all live, or we all die together!"

Hiss was taken aback, looking at Linley and the others.

They simply smiled.

"Sekra!" Linley turned to look at Sekra. He could see that Sekra was now hesitating. In Linley's view, if they could avoid battle, that would be better. So Linley said, "Sekra, what grudge do you and Hiss have that you must drive him to death? Let's both take a step back!"

If anyone else had said this, they would be courting death.

But when Linley said it, it was different, because in Sekra's mind, Linley was very likely a Seven-Star Demon!

"What grudge?" The thought made Sekra even angrier. "Ask him!" Sekra pointed angrily at Hiss.

"Me?" Hiss had no idea.

Sekra's face turned purple with rage, but could he announce this matter loudly? Could he just say that his wife was pregnant with another man's child? If this got out, Sekra would be a laughingstock for the rest of his life!

"Hmph!" Seeing Hiss's expression, Sekra let out a cold laugh.

"Is it about Lily?" Hiss sneered. "Unless it's about Lily, why would a young master of your family come looking for me?"

"Shut up!"

Hearing Hiss use the intimate name "Lily," Sekra became even more furious. "You are not worthy to say her name!"

"Haha..." Hiss laughed wildly, staring at Sekra. "Not worthy to say her name? Yes, Lily and I were together once. But so what? Since you got married, we haven't seen each other even once! What, do you intend to kill every man your wife has ever loved before?"

Immediately, the island's guardian warriors in the sky and the courtyard began to murmur among themselves.

Gods had infinite lifespans; having multiple relationships was normal. If Sekra was going to kill every man his woman had been with, that was going too far.

"So that's what this is about!" Linley was also somewhat surprised. He had heard about Hiss and that woman. She and Hiss had met for the last time the day before her wedding, and had never seen each other again.

Linley felt sympathy for Hiss.

But who would have thought that Sekra would still come to kill Hiss?

"Enough talk!" Sekra was furious. He couldn't voice the real reason for his anger. Saying something so shameful would be worse than killing him!

"I'll ask one last time. Are you determined to interfere?" Sekra stared fixedly at Linley, not even glancing at Hiss. He didn't consider Hiss a threat at all. If he attacked, killing Hiss would be a matter of moments.

What he worried about was Linley!

"Young Master Sekra, why does he value that Deity so much?" The Thousand Commander and the others were puzzled. Even Tarosa and Dylin were confused about this.

"Yes!"

Linley said calmly, "Even if it were just past acquaintance, I couldn't stand by and do nothing. Moreover, Hiss saved my life!" Linley's expression was calm, but internally, his energy was surging, ready to launch an attack at any moment.

Sekra's eyes narrowed slightly, a cold gleam flashing within.

"Quickly, go inform my father. A suspected Seven-Star Demon has gotten involved in this matter." Sekra immediately sent a mental message to one of the black-armored warriors behind him. The black-armored warrior's stoic face showed a hint of shock, and he immediately vanished with a flicker.

Seeing this, Linley frowned.

"Haha..." Sekra suddenly laughed wildly.

"Kill!" Sekra roared abruptly.

The surrounding guardian warriors were clearly prepared. The moment Sekra gave the order, all of them moved. It was obvious that Sekra wanted to launch a surprise attack, catching Linley off guard, and take the chance to kill Hiss first.

However, the moment Sekra sent a black-armored warrior away, Linley was already preparing to act.

As Sekra's roar rang out—

*Buzz*

Centered on Linley, a hazy, earthy yellow light bloomed within a three-hundred-meter radius. This range encompassed a large number of guardian warriors, including the Thousand Commander and Sekra. A hemispherical barrier covered the area.

Gravitational Space!

Maximum Gravity!

"Ah!" Some guardian warriors flying in the air, but not very high, were also within the range and plummeted rapidly. Sekra, who was standing on the ground, felt his body sink, but he immediately straightened up.

"Not good!"

Sekra's expression changed drastically, because he saw Linley charging towards him at incredible speed!

Capture the leader to defeat the band!

Linley had already planned this: "It's very difficult to escape from Moro Island. This Sekra is clearly an important figure. If I can capture him, threatening and intimidating the enemy will make things much better!" The moment he activated Gravitational Space, Linley rushed towards Sekra.

"What terrifying gravity!" Sekra's expression changed drastically as he immediately retreated.

"Young Master!" The two black-armored warriors beside Sekra, disregarding their own lives, immediately cut in front of Sekra, blocking Linley's path.

"Die!" Linley's gaze turned cold.

*Boom!*

Linley's clothes burst apart. His entire body instantly dragonized, covered in cyan-golden dragon scales. His dark-golden eyes coldly regarded the men before him. His metallic-looking dragon tail lashed out.

Seeing this, the guardian warriors, Sekra, the Thousand Commander, and the black-armored warriors all felt a tremor in their hearts.

"Peerless expert!" The guardian warriors, who had thought Linley was a Deity, now realized how terrifying he was. They all immediately assumed he was concealing his true strength and was actually a supreme powerhouse.

"The Four Divine Beasts Clan!" The Thousand Commander was shocked.

"The Four Divine Beasts Clan!" Sekra, who was retreating rapidly, was also startled.

"Kill!" Sekra roared again.

So what if it was the Four Divine Beasts Clan? The current Four Divine Beasts Clan was not the same as the one from the past. In the past, the Bagshaw Clan might have feared them, but now... they were not afraid!

Being able to control Moro Island and stand firm in the Misty Sea, the Bagshaw Clan's power was immense. Even Sekra, a young master of the clan, only knew a fraction of it.

"Linley!" Tarosa, Dylin, Hiss, and O'Brien were all shocked.

"Die!" His dark-golden eyes swept over the two black-armored warriors in front of him. The soul force, centered on the Blackstone, spread out, washing over the two black-armored warriors. Instantly, a strange sound echoed directly within their souls. The two black-armored warriors were momentarily stunned.

*Swish!* A flash of purple, eerie light.

*Clang!* Both black-armored warriors drew their weapons, blocking Linley's sword strike.

Although the soul attack was strong, these two black-armored warriors were the true elites of the Bagshaw Clan. Each was at least a Five-Star Demon in strength. Even under the influence of the sound, they were not completely dazed and could maintain a sliver of clarity.

*Smack!* The dragon tail viciously struck a black-armored warrior's shoulder.

*Pfft!* Flesh and blood exploded. Half of the warrior's body, including his arm, was shattered. He was sent flying like he had been struck by a meteor. The black-armored warrior was terrified. If he hadn't dodged quickly, Linley's dragon tail would have hit him in the head.

The force of Linley's dragon tail strike was too powerful!

*Smack!* The other black-armored warrior was also sent flying.

"Hmph." Linley's gaze, however, was fixed on Sekra, who was frantically fleeing. Describing it takes time, but in reality, the moment Linley reached the two black-armored warriors, he lashed out with his dragon tail twice like lightning, sending the obstacles flying.

Sekra's expression changed drastically at the sight. Two black-armored warriors couldn't even delay him for a moment!

"Trying to run?" Linley sneered.

Instantly, the gravity that had been pulling everything towards the ground shifted. As Linley's divine power changed, all beings within the Gravitational Space felt a terrifying force pulling them towards Linley. This sudden change caught the enemy completely off guard.

"How is this possible?"

Sekra felt he couldn't resist the pull and was actually being dragged backward!

How could he go backward?

A bloody light flared up around his body, allowing him to barely resist, but he couldn't take a single step forward. The gravitational pull from behind was too terrifying.

"Young Master Sekra!" The Thousand Commander was able to resist the gravity.

"Block him!" the Thousand Commander roared. Even if a thousand guardian warriors died, it didn't matter. But Sekra could not die! The Bagshaw Clan had very few members; each one was precious. And Sekra was a direct descendant!

The guardian warriors were unsteady on their feet. Because the space was too small and they were too densely packed, they didn't dare swing their weapons recklessly, for fear of hitting their own people!

"Run?" Linley accelerated. Sekra couldn't escape. The distance wasn't far, so Linley was fast. In an instant, he was in front of Sekra.

*Boom!* A powerful wave of energy slammed into Sekra. Linley was stunned. The energy came from the Thousand Commander beside him.

*Whoosh!* Sekra was instantly propelled forward, shooting out of the Gravitational Space.

After flying out of the gravity zone, Sekra flew another kilometer before stopping. His heart was filled with fear: "That man from the Four Divine Beasts Clan is too terrifying. That gravity... even I couldn't resist it. Thank goodness for that attack just now!"

Sekra was very grateful to the Thousand Commander. The Thousand Commander's attack was strange but had little destructive power.

It was just a series of impacts against his body, like someone constantly pushing him from behind. With that extra force, combined with his own strength, Sekra was able to burst out.

"Kill, kill! Kill him!" Sekra roared!

Only about two hundred people were trapped in the Gravitational Space. The other eight hundred or so guardian warriors were flying high in the sky, wanting to attack. But the people inside the Gravitational Space were too densely packed, and most of them were their own. They didn't dare launch a group attack.

They would hit their own people!

"Damn it!" When Sekra escaped, Linley's heart sank.

The situation was bad!

Now that Sekra had escaped, he would never be careless enough to enter the Gravitational Space again.

The plan to capture Sekra had failed!

"Now, I have to use the second plan!"

It was time to go on a killing spree!

Hiss and O'Brien were stunned by what they had just witnessed. They had thought Linley was just a Deity and that his involvement was suicide. They had been prepared to fight to the death. But now they realized—

They had been terribly wrong!

The guardian warriors and black-armored warriors couldn't even stand steadily inside the Gravitational Space. They were like a flock of sheep before Linley, who was a fierce wolf. A wolf among sheep!

"Linley..." Hiss and O'Brien were dazed.

"The situation is very bad. I didn't catch Sekra. Now we have to fight our way out! To avoid being surrounded and attacked, we have to charge into the crowd. Only by being in the middle of the enemy can we prevent them from launching a group attack!" Linley's voice echoed in the minds of Hiss, O'Brien, Delia, Bebe, and Olivier.

Hiss and the others immediately focused.

"Remember, follow me!"

With this final instruction, Linley let out a low growl. Like an enraged lion, he led Hiss, Bebe, and the others, charging into the crowd of guardian warriors ahead!

"Stand in my way, and die!"

At this moment, Linley's heart was as hard as iron. He would show no mercy!
