Chapter 1272: Primordial Magnetic Immortal Cave

The Primordial Magnetic Immortal Cave was a place of great mystery. It was said that within it lay the remains of an ancient immortal, and that the magnetic forces within could tear apart even the most powerful cultivators. Ye Fan and the others approached with caution, their senses on high alert.

As they drew near, they could feel a powerful magnetic field pulling at them, distorting the very space around them. The ground was littered with fragments of ancient weapons and bones, remnants of those who had dared to enter before and never returned.

"Be careful," Black Emperor warned, his voice low. "This place is no joke. Even a Saint Lord-rank figure would think twice before entering."

Ye Fan nodded, his gaze fixed on the entrance of the cave. It was a massive opening in the side of a mountain, surrounded by swirling streams of multicolored light. The air hummed with energy, and the ground trembled slightly beneath their feet.

"Let's go," Ye Fan said, stepping forward. The others followed, their weapons drawn and ready.

Inside the cave, the magnetic forces were even stronger. The walls were lined with strange crystals that pulsed with a faint light, and the floor was covered in a thick layer of dust. As they ventured deeper, they came across a massive chamber filled with ancient runes and symbols carved into the stone.

"This looks like some kind of formation," Pang Bo observed, studying the markings. "But I've never seen anything like it."

"It's an ancient sealing array," Black Emperor said, his eyes narrowing. "Someone went to great lengths to seal something away here."

Ye Fan's heart raced. Could this be the resting place of the immortal? He moved forward, his hand resting on the hilt of his sword.

Suddenly, the ground shook violently, and a deep roar echoed through the cave. From the shadows, a massive figure emerged—a creature made of pure magnetic energy, its body crackling with power.

"An Ancient Magnetic Beast!" Black Emperor exclaimed. "This is bad. These things are nearly indestructible."

The beast let out another roar and charged at them, its massive claws swiping through the air. Ye Fan leaped aside, narrowly avoiding the attack, and countered with a slash of his Dragon-Pattern Blackgold Holy Spirit Sword. The blade clashed against the creature's magnetic hide, sending sparks flying, but barely leaving a mark.

"We need to find its weakness!" Ye Fan shouted, dodging another attack.

"It's weak point is likely its core," Black Emperor said, his eyes scanning the creature's body. "But it's well protected."

As the battle raged on, Ye Fan noticed that the beast seemed to draw power from the magnetic field of the cave. Every time it attacked, the crystals on the walls pulsed brighter, feeding it energy.

"We need to disrupt the magnetic field!" Ye Fan called out. "If we can break the formation, we might be able to weaken it."

Pang Bo and Black Emperor nodded and began working on the ancient runes, trying to find a way to deactivate the array. Meanwhile, Ye Fan continued to engage the beast, using his Six Paths Reincarnation Fist to keep it at bay.

After what felt like an eternity, Pang Bo finally found the key. "I've got it! There's a central node here. If we destroy it, the formation should collapse."

"Then do it!" Ye Fan yelled, narrowly avoiding a devastating blow.

Pang Bo channeled his power into the node, and with a loud crack, the runes began to shatter. The magnetic field flickered and then dissipated, and the beast let out a pained roar as its power waned.

Seizing the opportunity, Ye Fan unleashed his full strength. His body glowed with golden light as he activated his Indestructible Golden Body, and he struck the beast with all his might. The creature's core shattered, and it crumbled into dust.

Panting heavily, Ye Fan sheathed his sword and looked around. The chamber was now silent, the crystals on the walls dim and lifeless.

"Is it over?" Little Nannan asked, peeking out from behind a rock.

"For now," Ye Fan said, his voice weary. "But we need to find what we came for."

They continued deeper into the cave, eventually coming to a massive stone door. Carved into it were images of ancient immortals and celestial beings, their eyes seeming to watch them.

"This must be it," Black Emperor said. "The resting place of the immortal."

Ye Fan placed his hand on the door, and it slowly creaked open, revealing a chamber filled with treasures and artifacts beyond imagination. At the center of the room lay a skeleton, its bones glowing with a faint, ethereal light.

"An immortal's remains," Ye Fan whispered, his heart pounding.

But as they stepped forward, a voice echoed through the chamber, ancient and powerful.

"Who dares to disturb my eternal rest?"
