Chapter 1030: Where Did That Robot Come From?

"Make the legs a little thinner... too much, make them a bit thicker. The waistline should fit the human body more closely. Add a bit more of a technological feel."
"It looks pretty good. Increase the opening angle of the back flaps a bit more, and make the jet exhaust effects during flight more prominent."

Chen Mo didn't even need to speak these words aloud; as long as he thought about them in his mind, Jarvis would automatically fine-tune the Mark 2 armor according to his wishes until he was satisfied.

Soon, the in-game modeling of the Mark 2 armor was complete. The entire process took less than twenty minutes, with nearly half of that time spent on the initial automatic generation of the 3D model.

"Wow, I created an Iron Man in twenty minutes."

Chen Mo gently swiped his hand across the holographic projection of the Iron Man virtual model, satisfied. This model was built to a 1:1 real-life scale, with every armor plate and every detail highly restored, to the point where it could even be disassembled piece by piece.

Artificial intelligence technology was revolutionary for improving work efficiency. Originally, creating such a model would have taken a designer at least two to three working days to design, and that designer would have to be a senior one. But now, the super-powered computing ability of AI had shortened this time to twenty minutes.

Although there were still many details on the entire suit of armor that needed refinement, this effect was already very satisfying for Chen Mo.

Of course, this suit of armor only had an outer shell. In reality, whether it was taking off, using weapons to attack, or battle damage effects, everything was calculated and completed by the system. After all, Iron Man's armor didn't perfectly conform to scientific common sense, and the game didn't need to actually build the thing. It just needed to make the player's experience feel real enough.

"Okay, use the same method to create the Mark 3. Color it according to the design blueprint, mainly red and gold. Adjust the physical properties of the armor material, and then create a mechanical structure that allows for automatic donning and doffing of the armor."

On the virtual projection, Jarvis began automatically generating the Mark 3 armor according to Chen Mo's requirements, fine-tuning and coloring it based on the Mark 2. The whole process took less than ten minutes to complete.

"Efficiency is really fast. It seems like my days as a designer aren't far from being over either."

Chen Mo sighed with emotion as he gently swiped his hand across the Mark 3 armor, observing every detail.

It was perfect.

"Okay, search for a public session in GTA Online and randomly select one." Chen Mo said.

Jarvis immediately replied: "Over 100,000 public sessions found. Automatically selected the 'Pacific Standard Heist' session. Preparing to intervene..."

"Mm, time to give them a little surprise."

Chen Mo took off his Matrix glasses and lay down in his Matrix gaming pod.

Then he woke up in a blank space, still as his own character, but with a platform in front of him.

Chen Mo walked over. The ground split open, and Iron Man's leg armor appeared before him. Many mechanical arms began automatically assembling the Iron Man armor for him. The sequence was slightly different from the movies, as it was automatically calculated and generated by Jarvis, but overall, the difference wasn't significant.

Leg armor, arm armor, chest, back, head.

As the gold and red faceplate closed shut, Chen Mo felt like he was completely inside an iron can.

The next second, the two eyes on Iron Man's face lit up. The helmet display activated, and Jarvis's voice sounded in Chen Mo's ear: "Hey, long time no see."

"Yeah, it's been over forty seconds. Help me automatically adjust the flight speed; I don't want to crash into a wall. Alright, now intervene in the Pacific Standard Heist session."

As soon as Chen Mo finished speaking, the palms of the Iron Man armor's hands and the soles of its feet began ejecting scorching energy, slowly rising, and then instantly accelerating, flying off into the distance.

Everything around him began rapidly transforming under the influence of data streams. Chen Mo thus traveled from a blank virtual world to Los Santos.

Strictly speaking, it was one of countless Los Santoses.

On the other side, four robbers who had just finished robbing the Pacific Standard Bank and were carrying a bag of money had just opened the front door, preparing to escape.

But the front door was now completely surrounded by police. Sirens blared, and there were violent explosions everywhere.

The Gatling guns in the hands of the four people spewed out streams of fire. Police cars quickly turned into large fireballs and exploded one after another. The pursuing police officers fell one by one in the hail of bullets.

"Wahoo!"

The four players, carrying the money, ran and cheered loudly. The frenzied hail of gunfire stimulated their adrenaline. They were about to reach the location of their motorcycles, shake off the police, and complete this job.

But just then, they saw an unidentified flying object speeding over from afar.

"?? Holy crap, what is that thing?"

"It looks... like a robot?"

"Why is it stopping in front of us? Hovering in the air?"

"Who cares, let's hit it with a rocket launcher!"

Without a second word, one of the players hoisted a rocket launcher and fired. The warhead, trailing black smoke, spun through the air towards the unidentified flying object, and then exploded with a "Boom!"

"Did we get it?" one of the players asked.

The flames and smoke from the rocket launcher quickly dissipated, but the players then discovered that the gold and red robot was still silently hovering in the sky, seemingly unharmed by the explosion!

On the contrary, it raised its right hand, and its palm lit up...

"Hmm..."

At the center of Iron Man's red palm, the core emitting a soft white light let out a faint hum. Then it grew brighter and brighter, with energy continuously gathering.

Then, a wave of energy shot out violently, hitting the player carrying the rocket launcher square in the chest!

This player only felt a powerful force pushing him back hard. His whole body involuntarily flew a great distance, slammed into a wall, and his health bar instantly dropped to zero!

He wasn't dead yet, but the severe injury left him lying on the ground, unable to even muster the strength to put a chocolate bar in his mouth.

The other three players immediately raised their Gatling guns and sprayed bullets at the Iron Man in the air. The Gatling gun barrels spun rapidly, muzzles flashing with fire, and shell casings scattered all over the ground. But even this powerful firepower only left a series of sparks on that suit of armor, without causing any substantial damage.

Through the helmet display, Chen Mo mentally commanded Jarvis to lock onto the three players. Two six-barreled mini-guns extended from his shoulder armor, and the bullets accurately hit the heads of the three players.

"Pssssssss..."

Before these three players could even react to what was happening, their characters were already lying on the ground. Their vision turned black and white, and three large words appeared in the center: "YOU DIED."

"Damn! What the hell is this? Is he cheating? Why were we one-shotted??"

"What the heck is this thing? Is there a robot like this for sale in the game?"

"I want to buy this too! How much is it?!"

All four players were completely dumbfounded, watching helplessly as the "tomato and egg" colored Iron Man ejected flames from the soles of his feet and flew away gracefully.

A smile curled at the corner of Chen Mo's mouth. He said to Jarvis, "Send an email to these four players, telling them to thank them for participating in the experiment of the new weapon. The heist earnings will be doubled and compensated to them."
