Chapter 862: New Headquarters Opens

On July 10th, Thunderbolt Interactive's new headquarters officially opened for use.

There was no particularly grand ceremony on the opening day—no banners or ribbons hung, no celebrities invited. It was just like an ordinary person moving house, simply relocating from one place to another.

After all, everyone knew that Chen Mo had little interest in such superficial formalities.

However, the impact of this event was anything but small.

Many players living in the imperial capital, upon hearing about the new headquarters' opening, made a point to take time out of their day to come over. Even if it was just to sit in the lobby or find a VR gaming pod to try out a couple of games, they felt it was a great honor.

That day happened to be a Wednesday, and many players even took special leave from work to come, showing just how fanatical they were.

Although a large number of players from across the imperial capital had gathered at the new headquarters on the 10th, there was still a huge gap before the entire experience zone reached saturation.

Wave after wave of players emerged from the subway or taxis and entered Thunderbolt Interactive's new headquarters. It was as if they were swallowed whole by this massive "new world"—no one could really say where all these people had gone.

Keep in mind, the new headquarters was much larger than most large shopping malls. With this level of foot traffic, it barely made a ripple.

Moreover, the entire building didn't feel empty at all.

Whether in the rest areas or the game experience zones, all the seats and equipment were scattered in small units. In the extra spaces, there were all kinds of decorations—plants, sculptures, game-related merchandise display areas, and so on. As players walked through these areas, they neither felt crowded nor lonely; it was just right.

Furthermore, the ceiling decorations on each floor of the new headquarters were different, and who knows, you might even have a romantic encounter. If you got hungry, there was food; if you got tired, there was a place to rest. It simply couldn't be more perfect.

As for local players in the imperial capital, especially the young people living near Thunderbolt Interactive's headquarters, they treated the place as the ultimate spot for daily gatherings and relaxation. On weekends or even evenings, they couldn't wait to rush over. Even if they weren't playing games, wearing Matrix glasses and finding a rest area to play a board game with friends was a lot of fun.

And most importantly, wandering around the experience store gave you a certain chance of running into a major streamer, or even capturing an ultra-rare creature—Chen Mo himself.

Thunderbolt Interactive's work area occupied four large central floors of the entire building. The work area was completely separate from the players' game experience zones. The soundproofing between each floor was excellent, so there was no disturbance. Also, the work area had a front desk, and internal employees had to swipe their cards to enter, so there was no need to worry about players accidentally wandering in and disrupting normal work.

Chen Mo usually stayed in the work area most of the time, but he often strolled through the various experience zones or found a themed restaurant to grab a bite. So for those personal fans of Chen Mo, there was still a good chance of meeting him at the experience store. Getting a photo together or even sharing a meal—wouldn't that be wonderful?
