This time, his enemies were a group of horrifying flesh-and-blood monsters. These creatures were roughly humanoid in shape but massive, at least three meters tall. When on all fours, they stood about as tall as Alex's upright form.
These flesh monsters were huge, hideously ugly, with muscles as tough as steel. They let out terrifying roars, resembling low-level beasts with no reason, driven only by the urge to kill.
They were called Hunters—low in intelligence, but deadly enough!
This time, Alex's right hand transformed into a sharp blade. This change had appeared in the earlier cutscene, clearly a step-by-step introduction to familiarize players with Alex's powerful abilities.
The Hunters possessed terrifying speed and jumping ability, along with fast attack power and speed. Zou Zhuo was caught off guard when one Hunter landed a series of slaps on him, draining a significant chunk of his health.
Startled, Zou Zhuo quickly retreated to avoid further damage.
Clearly, these Hunters posed a far greater threat than tanks or soldiers.
Zou Zhuo leaped high into the air and used a downward slash with his blade, aiming at a Hunter. The blade's effect didn't disappoint—the strike left the Hunter with only a sliver of health, and a "Consumable" icon appeared above its head.
Delighted, Zou Zhuo rushed in to absorb it. Countless tendrils extended from Alex's body, piercing into the Hunter's flesh. A torrent of crimson viral tissue flowed through the tendrils into Alex's body, instantly replenishing his health!

Countless tendrils pierced through the surrounding tanks, attack helicopters, and every living thing in sight. The camera automatically pulled back, allowing Zou Zhuo to see everything impaled by the countless tendrils.
A series of explosions followed. Nothing around Alex could escape—everything was reduced to steel wreckage and bloody chunks under the assault of the countless tendrils!

After a moment, the tendrils retracted, returning to Alex's body. Times Square fell silent.
Only the sound of countless attack helicopters crashing to the ground, accompanied by a chain of explosions!
Instant area clear!
Before Zou Zhuo could recover from the shock, the scene seamlessly transitioned into another cutscene.
Alex seemed to be speaking with an unidentified person. The camera didn't reveal this person's face—only their voice was heard.
Mysterious Figure: "We have less than an hour. What's the next move?"
Alex: "The one responsible for all this dies tonight."
Mysterious Figure: "If we succeed... do you think you're ready?"
Alex: "I exist for this very moment."
At the end of the cutscene, Zou Zhuo's vision faded into darkness. After a moment, the game's logo appeared in the center of the screen, tinged with a faint red hue.
