Chapter 1478: Return to the Moon
Michael frowned deeply, Miracle Power enveloping the surface of his holy sword, tearing open a gap in the reeking Fallen's Domain in an instant.
A sharp screech emanated from the two fleshy wings behind Lucifer, the worm-like eyes and giant mouths covering their surface writhing frantically, as if stimulated by something. The residual aura of the Miracle touching the corner of those wings produced wisps of pale smoke.
The Miracle Power radiating from Michael was the natural nemesis of the Cthulhu Gods. Although the Fallen's Power within Lucifer was formidable, as long as Michael could touch those fleshy wings, He would experience extreme agony.
Lucifer's features twisted savagely. Just as He gritted through the pain and fought Michael for survival, an invisible ripple emanated from the hilt of Michael's holy sword!
Michael seemed to sense something, his pupils constricting sharply as he looked up at the sky!
In the depths of space above, a moon shadow moved slowly, quiet and mysterious.
"【Black Goat】……" Michael growled through gritted teeth. The 【Mortal Divine Realm】 blazed with dazzling light, and his holy sword swept across, directly forcing Lucifer back dozens of kilometers!

Yet Michael didn't even look at Him a second time, simply breaking off from combat to return to the Moon—this was undoubtedly an insult!
Lucifer's black wings beat violently behind Him, and just as He was about to follow after Michael into the Moon, an indescribable sound emerged from the giant mouths on those fleshy wings, as sharp and shrill as fingernails scraping across a blackboard, like some kind of insect screeching.
"Going back? But I haven't killed Him yet……"

The sound continued for a while longer. Lucifer's blood-red eyes flickered slightly, then He sighed helplessly.
He reached out, gently stroking those two writhing blood wings, caressing them as if they were the hands of a beloved, His gaze softening. "I hear you."
Lucifer turned around, His black wings flaring, and vanished without a trace.

Countless stars twinkled in the ink-black void. A golden silhouette streaked across the emptiness, approaching that ash-white sphere.
As the distance to the Moon decreased, Michael could clearly see dense clusters of black specks writhing across that ash-white surface, like waves surging relentlessly toward one particular meteorite crater.
Witnessing this, Michael's expression visibly darkened.
That meteorite crater was precisely where the Heavenly Kingdom's source had established the seal, locking the Cthulhu Gods within the Moon. It was also the location guarded by the golden holy sword in His hand for countless ages. Those things' objective was none other than the Moon Seal!
However, just as those vast swarms of black specks were about to charge into the center of the meteorite crater, their movements ceased simultaneously, as if frozen in mid-air.
At that moment, at the center of that meteorite crater, a figure rose slowly.无形 (formless) waves of law rippled outward, and every single black specks rushing across the Moon's surface seemed as if someone had pressed the pause button, freezing rigidly in place.
Seeing this, Michael's tension finally eased, and he exhaled in relief.
His wings flapping, his form descended gently onto the Moon's surface. Only then did he get a clear view of what those black specks truly were.
They were countless fleshy monsters resembling massive trees. Their pitch-black trunks were covered with growths and writhing worm-eyes, thick tentacle-like branches frozen狰狞ly in mid-air, and several giant hoof-like feet protruded from beneath the trunks, firmly supporting these grotesque monsters that stood as tall as seventeen or eighteen-story buildings.

Michael's gaze swept across these monsters and walked straight into the meteorite crater, where a black-robed elder stood silently on the ground. Those eyes lifted gently, and a pair of time-linked circles flowed slowly within his eye sockets.
"You're finally back, Michael." Chronos said.
"My 【Mortal Divine Realm】 sensed the presence of Cthulhu, so I returned as fast as I could." Michael said gravely. "This time I owe you one. Otherwise, I might not have made it in time."
"What exactly are these monsters?"
"They are the offspring of 【Black Goat】." Michael said. "He must have wanted Lucifer to delay me, then use these offspring to descend onto the Moon and seize the opportunity to open the Moon Seal… though He didn't expect you to be stationed here."
"The Cthulhu's three pillars? Are they becoming active?"
"Currently only 【Black Goat】 has fully awakened. The other two show no movement."
"That's a relief… If all three pillars were to awaken simultaneously, Earth would be in grave danger." Chronos breathed out in relief. "Have you finished what you needed to do on Earth?"
"More or less. Odin had pledged allegiance to Cthulhu, released the mist, and tried to open the Moon Seal through schemes—I killed him. However……" Michael paused. "Zeus seems to show signs of leaning toward Cthulhu as well."
Upon hearing the latter part, Chronos' brow furrowed.

After listening, Chronos' expression shifted rapidly, fury flickering in the depths of his eyes.

"【Black Goat】 has set His sights on this place. For safety's sake, I must guard the Moon Seal." Michael said slowly. "As for Olympus……"
"I'll go back." Chronos replied without hesitation. "His internal struggle with Nyx, I can overlook. But if he dares to make contact with those Cthulhu bastards…… I will never forgive him."
Michael gave a slight nod. "I'll leave it to you."
The circles of time within Chronos' eyes swirled, and his form gradually faded from the Moon's surface, vanishing without a trace.
Michael gazed at the thousand-plus 【Black Goat】 offspring frozen in time around him, cold intent surfacing in his eyes. He thrust the golden holy sword in his hand into the formation's core. A brilliant golden domain expanded like a tide, instantly evaporating and crushing every single one of these frozen monsters!
