Chapter 1433: They're Here

"…I understand."

Zuo Qing took a deep breath, his eyes filled with worry.

The Great Xia was still deep in a war against the gods of the Heavenly Temple. If Olympus stepped in as well, bringing the Cthulhu pantheon along… the situation would spiral completely toward its worst possible outcome.

The only solution now was to eliminate the Heavenly Temple as quickly as possible. Otherwise, with enemies at both front and back, everything would be too late.

But Yuanshi Tianzun had led the Heavenly Court to India to face the Heavenly Temple alone. The battle of origins, the war of national fate, and the war of supreme beings—three conflicts intertwined, against an Indian pantheon no weaker than Great Xia—was not something that could be resolved easily. And their own divine war was being held in check…

In both battlefields, the power between Great Xia and India had reached a stalemate. Without a breakthrough factor, no one knew how long this war would last.

A breakthrough factor… where could it possibly come from?

Zuo Qing pondered desperately, exhaustion filling his eyes. After the two Lesser Gods from "Hidden God" took their leave, they departed Great Xia's territory directly. Zuo Qing made no move to stop them—after all, two Lesser God-level fighters could hardly affect the current situation.

Zuo Qing glanced at the divine battlefield nearby. After a moment's hesitation, he adjusted his communicator to a special frequency.

This frequency wasn't the standard channel shared by all war strongholds. It was a specific frequency only special squads, Human Apexes, and a few of Great Xia's gods could receive. After all, some information wasn't suitable for everyone to know—otherwise, it would have a tremendous impact on morale.

Zuo Qing spoke slowly: "This is Great Xia Night Watch Commander-in-Chief Zuo Qing. I have just received intelligence from an organization called 'Hidden God.' The Olympian Gods…"

Jiangcheng City.

Jiang Er, hovering in the air, seemed to sense something. Her fingertips lifted gently.

All of [Nightfall] Squad's Bluetooth earpieces instantly connected to this special frequency, and Zuo Qing's voice echoed in everyone's ears simultaneously.

The [Nightfall] members hastily tracing the magical patterns on the open ground slowly stood up, their brows furrowed.

"Olympus?" Cao Yuan said grimly. "Just when one wave ends, another begins… These Greek gods have impeccable timing."

"Maybe this was always part of their plan." An Qingyu pushed up her glasses. "The gods of the Heavenly Temple dared to launch a full-scale assault. Most likely they reached some kind of agreement with Olympus. Now, the Heavenly Temple gods are desperately holding back the Great Xia gods—probably buying time for Olympus."

Lin Qiye contemplated briefly. "If that's the case, why didn't the Heavenly Temple attack a few days later? If Olympus was prepared and both divine kingdoms struck simultaneously, wouldn't that pose a greater threat to Great Xia?"

An Qingyu considered this. "Maybe they agreed to attack Great Xia together, and then Olympus betrayed them? Trying to play the渔翁 (受益者)?"

"Can't rule that out." Lin Qiye's gaze fell on the final section of magical pattern beneath his feet. "By the way, how are the preparations going?"

"Done on my end." Baili Pangpang's voice came through the earpiece.

"Finished here too."

Lin Qiye stepped onto his Somersault Cloud and flew directly into the clouds. From high above, he confirmed everything was in order and nodded.

"Good. Everyone be on full alert—the beast tide should be arriving soon."

"…Qiye."

"What is it?"

"There are planes coming from the east."

Lin Qiye's brow lifted. He turned to look, and on the eastern horizon, an aircraft was hurtling toward Jiangcheng City!

His spiritual power swept over the plane, and his expression grew interesting.

"Who is it?" An Qingyu asked through the earpiece.

"Some of the newer generation Night Watch. They should be Night Watch teams stationed in nearby cities, temporarily mobilized by Commander Zuo." Lin Qiye shook his head with a helpless smile. "I even recognized a few familiar faces."

"What should we do? Should we brief them first?"

"No time for that. Stopping the beast horde is our top priority." Lin Qiye's gaze slowly pulled away from the aircraft. "Let them observe from the sidelines… this scale of enemy isn't something these little rookies can handle."

The plane landed on the south side of Jiangcheng City.

As the cabin doors opened, figures quickly disembarked, their expressions grave!

"So this is Jiangcheng City?" Fang Mo looked around.

"Why did so few people come…" Li Zhenzhen followed closely behind him, frowning at the handful of Night Watch scattered around. "Didn't they say all nearby city Night Watch units were coming to stop the beast tide? There are only about three or four teams here…"

"A large portion of the Night Watch are too far away and need time to arrive. We're probably the first wave." Fang Mo spotted two familiar faces in the crowd, his eyes brightening slightly.

"Su Zhe? Su Yuan?"

The Su siblings who had just arrived from Cangnan City heard the voice and saw Fang Mo and Li Zhenzhen.

"You made it too?" Su Zhe exclaimed happily. "It's been so long."

Fang Mo was about to respond when a stern voice came from the distance: "All Night Watch who have arrived first, prepare yourselves. The beast tide is imminent."

At these words, everyone's expressions tightened. They followed the local Jiangcheng City Night Watch squad and rushed toward the wilderness.

"Fang Mo, I heard things aren't going well on the front lines?" Su Zhe asked quietly beside Fang Mo as they moved.

"Maybe." Fang Mo sighed. "Since headquarters mobilized us here, it means the pressure on the front has reached its breaking point… Otherwise, this beast horde wouldn't be able to push directly toward Jiangcheng City."

"They say there are even Divine Beasts in this beast tide. Can our group even stop them?"

Fang Mo opened his mouth but said nothing, only shaking his head silently…

"No matter what, we can't let them break through to the city proper." Li Zhenzhen pressed her lips together, a faint light flickering in her eyes. "Don't forget the words written on the back of the Coat of Arms."

Everyone unconsciously gripped the hilt of their Straight Blade at their waist.

Just then, Fang Mo seemed to sense something. He猛地 raised his head and stared into the distance, nostrils flaring, fur standing on end throughout his body!

A low growl escaped from Fang Mo's throat, like a beast sensing an enemy, growling beneath its human skin.

"Fang Mo, what's wrong?" Su Yuan asked worriedly at the sight.

Fang Mo's eyes locked onto the horizon. Dark specks were rapidly approaching. He spoke in a deep voice:

"They're here…"
