Chapter 501: Ship Killing

Jiang Feng, suspended in mid-air, took out a pocket-sized scanner. A red light swept from head to toe, and the kite string embedded in his leg fell off on its own.

However, he didn't return to the ship. Instead, he chased after Xu Huo on a skateboard-style aircraft.

Xu Huo had risen nearly fifty meters using the violin strings. Seizing the opportunity when Jiang Feng rushed close, he used a jammer to knock out his aircraft.

Jiang Feng did have spare aircraft, but the jammer's interference meant even if he took one out, it wouldn't fly. So as he fell, he grabbed Xu Huo's arm, trying to drag him down too!

This played right into Xu Huo's hands. He retracted the violin strings and let himself fall along with Jiang Feng, while simultaneously raising his right hand. The vanished shelter reappeared, and an immense gravitational force suddenly pressed down on both of them!

From a height of several dozen meters, even falling into water was no different from hitting solid ground. Even for evolved players, such a fall would at least break a few bones, let alone with this massive object weighing on them.

Jiang Feng thought Xu Huo was trying to take him down with him. He kicked away from him, attempting to escape from under the shelter. But Xu Huo, taking advantage of his distraction, bound one of his hands to the shelter with the violin strings.

Perhaps due to environmental constraints, Jiang Feng didn't use his trait. Instead, he pulled out a dagger and slashed at Xu Huo's throat!

The shelter pressed down on both of them as they fell rapidly. The fierce wind nearly blinded them, while below, in the sea, the writhing seaweed seemed to sense the commotion above, stretching upward toward the sky.

Xu Huo grabbed the dagger directly with his diamond glove. With a twist of his hand, the item warped and deformed.

Jiang Feng didn't hesitate to discard the dagger. A prop gun appeared in his hand.

The distance was too close. Xu Huo couldn't afford to wrestle with him. He swung the shelter door open and climbed inside the room.

The door smacked Jiang Feng square in the face, and the gun in his hand was knocked away. But he froze for only a moment before using a prop to undo the violin strings, then moved toward the edge of the shelter.

Although it had cost him some time, before they hit the sea surface, Jiang Feng would have enough time to escape from under the shelter. Unfortunately, at that moment, the seventh floor of the ship began to rotate for some unknown reason.

Earlier, when viewing the colorful ocean, each floor of the ship had opened up. They had closed again when the ship resumed sailing. By the time the massacre began today, most of the ship's power was cut off, the hull had become dilapidated, and the ship's shape hadn't changed. In fact, it shouldn't have changed. First, the power supply couldn't keep up. Second, many parts of the ship were rusted and blocked. Even if someone tried to rotate it through the central axis, they couldn't achieve such speed.

But in that instant, the seventh floor moved like a triggered latch. In the blink of an eye, it formed a cross with the ship's hull. Coincidentally, the deck that swung out perfectly caught the shelter!

Although Jiang Feng fled as fast as he could, he couldn't completely avoid it—his right foot was crushed under the shelter, bones and flesh shattered!

Inside the shelter, Xu Huo, sitting on the "right-side-up chair," also knew something had gone wrong. After the collision, he immediately retracted the shelter. Before Jiang Feng could recover, he threw the "Real Wooden Man" onto him!

Jiang Feng stiffened. The Crimson Sword slashed down at his neck but clanged against an invisible barrier.

"Clang! Clang!" Two consecutive strikes failed to wound him. Xu Huo quickly distanced himself and pulled out the shelter again!

"Boom!" This time, Jiang Feng's defensive barrier was breached. He was completely trapped under the shelter. Now, taking his life wouldn't be so difficult. The "Hurt Others, Not Self" slipped through the gap under the shelter and precisely looped around his neck.

Even if Jiang Feng could move now, he didn't have the strength to push the shelter away. He could only take out a prop to remove the rope around his neck. But before he could act, the rope suddenly turned into a blade!

Jiang Feng reacted swiftly, forcing his fingers into the line. He was wearing a prop on his hand, so his throat wasn't cut immediately. But at that moment, the entire seventh floor began to powder—like ruins after a fire, turning into large clouds of ash with a single gust of wind!

The seventh floor started to collapse. Jiang Feng fell off the ship. Xu Huo had to retract the shelter as quickly as possible. Although the "Hurt Others, Not Self" wasn't retrieved, the now-free Jiang Feng moved his fingers. The ring-shaped rainstorm began again, and he also manipulated the falling objects on and off the ship.

At this point, Xu Huo knew that continuing the stalemate would make it very difficult to kill Jiang Feng. He considered backing off. But for some unknown reason, the disintegrating seventh floor flipped again like a roller coaster. A diagonally flying metal bar suddenly sliced off Jiang Feng's left shoulder!

The rainstorm stopped abruptly. Jiang Feng's left shoulder and left arm were completely severed, leaving only a palm stuck in the "Hurt Others, Not Self." The excruciating pain made him scream. Xu Huo seized the moment, loosening and tightening the rope, moving it above his throat and yanking hard!

Jiang Feng's head flew off.

"Big brother!" Jiang Feng's sister, the young girl, appeared on the sixth floor. She let out a shocked and incredulous wail, then glared hatefully at Xu Huo. With a shriek, she controlled the seaweed on and off the ship to attack him wildly.

Xu Huo, who had already taken Jiang Feng's props, used a barrier to block some of the seaweed. While clearing obstacles with the Crimson Sword, he descended to retrieve Jiang Feng's body. There were still several props on his hands that needed recovery.

Seeing this, Jiang Feng's sister screamed even louder. Instantly, not just the seaweed on the ship, but also the seaweed in the sea twisted together, forming meter-thick dragons that lashed out at him!

Xu Huo dodged the seaweed dragons on his aircraft and returned to the ship. Although the seventh floor had been completely destroyed, the floors above hadn't collapsed. They were still held up by the central giant pillar. But with one floor missing, the spacing from the sixth floor upward had widened, making the area look quite open.

Openness had its advantages, of course. A gap had opened up in the middle, allowing a clear view of the situation on the sixth floor.

With the seventh floor gone, most of the facilities on that floor had disintegrated along with the ship. Only decorations and items left behind by players had fallen safely to the sixth floor. But they weren't the most eye-catching things on the sixth floor. The ones that drew the most attention were the two people standing in the center.

One of them was Bai Kou. The man standing opposite her was someone Xu Huo had seen in the base government's wanted list. He was a member of the Eerie Sound Knights—Yu Guo!

The two were locked in a standoff. Bai Kou's face was expressionless, while Yu Guo was grinning. He hitched up his beach shorts, wiped his forehead with the corner of his floral shirt, and said, "Little lady, you've got some spirit. How about you come with big brother? I guarantee you'll have the time of your life. Better than dealing with those pigs from District 011 here."

Bai Kou tore off the corroded prop glove that was starting to peel from her right hand and tossed it aside casually. "If you can kill your companion and then cut off your own hands and feet, it's not out of the question."
