# Chapter 463: Happiness Unto Death
Weiwei stared at him for a few seconds before raising her smile again. "Uncle, you're really interesting."
Then she lifted her skirt and ran off.
Xu Huo only showed a hint of a smile at this point. Turning back, he saw Weiwei's parents looking at him, and he lightly raised his teacup in greeting.
The couple also wore smiles, but they didn't respond to him.
Dr. Deng said with some concern at this time, "Better not stir up trouble."
Anyone who could board the train was definitely not an ordinary person. A little girl running around unattended without her parents worrying showed she had confidence in her safety. Saying something like that right in front of her parents and the girl herself—wouldn't he get chopped?
But Xu Huo didn't care. He just said, "Just a joke."
Dr. Deng glanced at the little girl, who had sat down next to her parents but was still staring at them, and immediately looked away, lowering his voice. "Too bad they don't think it's a joke."
Time quickly reached evening.
The first-class seats could be reclined for rest. Xu Huo lay down early to rest with his eyes closed, then sat up after the lights went out.
The other passengers in the carriage also weren't sleeping; each sat in their original positions.
Not long after, faint sounds of fighting came from the carriages behind. The location was quite far away—several carriages back. Because of the fighting in the rear, there was some minor commotion in other carriages as well. The second carriage, right next to the first-class section, also transmitted sounds of collision and doors opening.
In the darkness, footsteps moved to the rear door of the first-class carriage, paced back and forth for a couple of steps, then pulled at the carriage door. Unable to open it, the person outside stood there for a few seconds before leaving.
After that, there was no more movement outside the door, and the door to the rear carriage also closed.
The fighting sounds at the tail of the train didn't last long either—only about ten minutes before they quieted down. Then the train fell into a long silence.
Xu Huo looked again in the darkness at the other players in his carriage. During this disturbance, not a single one of these players had any change in their breathing rhythm. The state they presented was that they neither worried about other players breaking in nor seemed eager to fight.
Dr. Deng, on the other hand, had a heartbeat louder than his breathing.
But this state quickly disappeared. A few minutes later, his breathing became long and drawn out.
Xu Huo frowned, got up, and went to the opposite side to slap his face. The man didn't wake up, but a pitch-black bug suddenly flew out of his nostril. Xu Huo backhanded the bug away—"Splat!"
The bug that shattered against the carriage wall emitted a strange odor. He immediately put on a protective mask, but at this moment, Dr. Deng suddenly let out a laugh.
Dr. Deng wasn't sleeping; he had unconsciously fallen into a brief coma, and now he automatically woke up. But after waking, he couldn't control his expression and started laughing. At first it was just a light chuckle, then the laughter grew louder. Soon he couldn't even stay lying down; he curled up holding his stomach, laughing and crying at the same time, stammering, "I... save me..."
Xu Huo knew he had fallen for something. He abruptly turned to look at the little girl named Weiwei, but the several passengers who had been sitting there now all appeared to him as colorful clowns, each displaying twisted, grotesque smiles as they shook their heads at him.
Suppressing the corners of his mouth that were involuntarily lifting, Xu Huo smashed a bottle of "Mind-Blowing Good Stuff" on the floor. The foul smell quickly covered the faint strange odor in the air. Two of the "clowns" retched dryly, then pounced at him!
Xu Huo used the item "Two-Part Magic" to trap the two in place, then threw out a kite string, intending to hang one of them up. But the two clowns, who appeared split in half in his vision, didn't seem affected by the item. They immediately retreated to their original positions and resumed their previous sitting posture.
The "clowns" still looked like clowns, which meant Xu Huo hadn't completely escaped the hallucination either. He turned back, knocked Dr. Deng unconscious, and then took out a flashlight.
He didn't turn on the light, but the wildly writhing "clowns" across from him stopped. Then the already unconscious Dr. Deng suddenly opened his eyes again, clutching his stomach and laughing!
Knocking him out didn't work either.
Xu Huo glanced at Dr. Deng, who had rolled to the floor, and directly turned on the flashlight, aiming it at the clowns across from him.
In complete darkness, the sudden light was especially conspicuous, and this light seemed to break the hallucination. At least where the light shone, the "clowns" disappeared. But the next second, he felt something flying rapidly toward him, heading for both the flashlight and his throat.
Accompanied by two "clink" sounds, the flying dart aimed at his throat was blocked by "Moving Metal," while the flashlight was naturally shattered. But this brief flash still alarmed something outside the train. In just two seconds, heavy objects kept slamming against the outside of the carriage!
"Boom! Boom! Boom!" Xenomorphs rained against the glass windows like a storm. The high-speed train began to shake. Because the first-class light had only flashed once, the swarming xenomorphs couldn't break through the windows, but they still created fine cracks in the thick glass.
The players in the carriage's expressions changed slightly. Among this group of xenomorphs, there were clearly several particularly large ones with characteristics different from the others. The cracks in the glass windows appeared because of them!
Xu Huo glanced at the cracks and held up a second flashlight. "Next time, you won't be so lucky."
A blatant threat. If he dared to turn on the light once, of course he dared to do it a second time.
None of the several players moved. They just stared at Xu Huo in the darkness. It was impossible to tell who had made the move, but Dr. Deng stopped his wild laughter.
Xu Huo nudged him with his foot. "Can you get up?"
Dr. Deng couldn't get up at all. With tears and snot streaming, he said, "Almost... laughed myself to death..."
If he could still speak properly, it meant he was fine.
Xu Huo sat down calmly and placed the flashlight on the table.
Dr. Deng struggled to crawl to the edge of the table, fumbling to hug the flashlight. Even he was afraid Xu Huo would recklessly turn on the light again.
"If you like it, take it. I have plenty more," Xu Huo said.
Dr. Deng stopped crying. "Why do you prepare so many lights?"
"Afraid of the dark." A perfectly legitimate reason.
Dr. Deng was speechless. He could only say nervously, "Everyone, stay calm. Let's just finish this train ride safely."
"Uncle, aren't you afraid of xenomorphs?" Weiwei asked from the darkness.
"Afraid," Xu Huo said, turning his head toward her with a friendly smile. "But thinking about having so many people to accompany me... I won't lose out."
"So uncle really is sick," Weiwei said without emotion.
Another few minutes of silence passed. Weiwei's parents stood up, pulled open the carriage door, and walked out. A few seconds later, the carriage behind erupted with waves of loud laughter. Even amidst intense fighting, the laughter didn't stop. Only as the number of people gradually decreased did the sound slowly fade.
Half an hour later, the players in the opposite carriage were either dead or had fled. The couple didn't chase them to the transition car but returned to first class.
