# Chapter 338: Escape Across Wormhole Points
The woman stood in front of her umbrella, raised her hand to her head, and smoothly peeled off a beige-colored piece of human skin. She tossed it aside casually, and the woman standing there now had a completely new face.
Xu Huo's gaze darkened. This woman was wearing more than one layer of human skin on her body.
"Huang Yue, I remember now," the cheongsam woman said. "A young girl I ran into last time, tender and youthful. I tortured her for quite a while before she died. She never mentioned having a player relative at home."
"Is that so?" Xu Huo said coldly. "Then I might have remembered wrong. Maybe her surname was Zhang or Wu instead."
The cheongsam woman snorted. "There really are all kinds of people these days."
"Can't help it. I only got the name from the news," Xu Huo said expressionlessly. "But compared to that disgusting hobby of wearing human skin, this is nothing."
The cheongsam woman's face twisted with rage, but at that moment Xu Huo lit his lighter. She reflexively dodged onto the wall, but his real target was the umbrella on the ground!
The woman turned back in shock, only to find that during their brief struggle, the white umbrella lying on the ground had been drenched in gasoline, surrounded by broken glass shards. Now ignited by the flame, the umbrella's surface burst into blazing fire!
Seeing her immediately lunge toward the umbrella, Xu Huo grabbed the Crimson Sword and slashed through the air!
The sword energy cut through the alley, becoming a dozens-of-meters-high slicing plane that split one side of the alley wall clean in two!
The cheongsam woman, forced to change course mid-charge, leaped onto the opposite wall. Her eyes flickered over the crack in the wall, then her figure blurred as she once again moved at extreme speed through the small alley.
From Xu Huo's perspective, every time he caught up to her pace, he could only see the craters and cracks left by her powerful stomps. These cracks appeared continuously on walls and ground, gradually moving from far to near!
"Die!" During a time transfer gap, the woman had already killed her way in front of him. Xu Huo raised his sword to block her right hand, manipulated the strings to bind her left hand, kicked her away, and then threw several more gasoline bottles!
The woman dodged the bottles, hesitated for a moment between the white umbrella prop and Xu Huo, then chose the former. She rushed back, picked up the white umbrella and stored it in her item slot, then turned and fled out of the rainy alley!
With the white umbrella stored, the rain stopped. Xu Huo tossed his backpack aside and followed without hesitation.
This area was full of complex, narrow alleys where it was easy to hide. The cheongsam woman had planned on that, but she hadn't expected Xu Huo's speed to be no less than hers—he was following her with ease!
After several failed attempts to shake him off, the woman wove through the crisscrossing alleys for a while before finally stopping in a dead end. She opened the white umbrella again, and light rain began to fall once more. "I was going to spare your life, but since you're rushing to die, fine. Eating anyone is the same."
As she spoke, her petite cheongsam was stretched out of shape by bulging muscles, her height elongated, the outer skin split open, and her head cracked apart like a blooming flower, revealing a square, masculine face.
"Cross-dressing?" Xu Huo raised an eyebrow.
The cheongsam woman's face twisted with anger. "I'm a real woman!"
This time she didn't bother removing the skin. She tossed the white umbrella aside, leaped onto an air conditioning unit hanging on the alley wall, and pounced down at Xu Huo from above!
While dodging the woman's attacks, Xu Huo kept an eye on the white umbrella. After being burned, the umbrella's edge showed abnormal yellowed curling, revealing the black umbrella fabric underneath.
A faint smell of meat wafted out. He didn't need to think about what that white layer was made of.
But he noticed that after the umbrella was damaged, the rain had intensified.
"You're just unlucky!" The cheongsam woman clearly noticed this too, and her attacks became even more ferocious. In just a few minutes, she had nearly demolished the walls on both sides.
"What kind of man just hides!" After repeated failed attacks, she roared at Xu Huo in frustration.
Xu Huo had been waiting for this opportunity. He sliced off her right hand with his sword, then grabbed his lighter again!
The woman quickly retreated, saying, "In the rain, your prop effects are suppressed. There's no way you can ignite my clothes..."
But before she finished speaking, the human skin hanging on both sides of her shoulders caught fire, and her cheongsam was instantly engulfed in flames!
"How is this possible!" The woman screamed, tearing at the fabric and skin on her body. The next second, both her legs were severed, and she fell to her knees.
Even with her legs cut off, her reactions were still fast. She first stored the cheongsam in her item slot, then tore off the human skin and threw it away. Though she was left with quite a few burns, they weren't severe—at worst, she'd need to drink several bottles of self-healing agent. The real tragedy was losing both feet and one hand!
As she frantically poured self-healing agent into her mouth, Xu Huo didn't stop her. Instead, he waited until the bleeding gradually slowed before looking at the blood on the ground and saying, "I thought you wouldn't bleed human blood, but it turns out it's red too."
The woman crawled backward along the ground, saying, "Don't kill me! I'll give you all my props!"
"Even if I kill you, the props will still be mine." Xu Huo pointed the Crimson Sword at her. "Say something valuable."
The woman was drenched in sweat, her eyeballs trembling. After a few seconds, she said, "You're here for an instance, right? I know a lot of instance strategies. I can tell you all of them!"
"Then tell me about Rose Castle," Xu Huo said. "You've been here for a few years. You should know something."
The woman looked at the sword in his hand, swallowed her saliva, and said, "Actually, my player level isn't that high..."
"I can see that," Xu Huo interrupted her. "Spending years here, only daring to kill in ordinary residential areas—it's obvious you don't have much skill."
The woman didn't refute his words. After meeting his gaze, she immediately said, "There is an instance in Rose Castle, but I've never been there..."
Xu Huo stabbed his sword into her shoulder. "Didn't someone invite you as a guest? It's not far from here to Rose Castle, and you were out at night. Don't tell me it's a coincidence."
The woman's features twisted in pain as she quickly said, "I'm telling the truth! I've never done the Rose Castle instance! I was just invited as a guest!"
Xu Huo slightly relaxed the pressure on his sword. "Inviting a cannibal player as a guest—it seems the master of that castle isn't a good person... Is this your first time going?"
"Yes... yes!" The woman's lips trembled. "Rose Castle's invitations aren't named. Anyone can buy them on the black market, but there aren't many. I heard you can eat players there for free, so I sold a few props and bought an invitation at a high price!"
"Invitation." Xu Huo gestured for her to take it out. Comparing it with his own invitation, the only difference was the signature. His instance invitation was from the castle owner, He Pu, while the woman's invitation only had a rose flower pattern.
"Second question. How do you avoid the random instances every three months?"
"You've been here for a few years. You should have been teleported into a random instance by now."
The woman grinned. "If I tell you, will you let me go?"
"No, but I can let you die more quickly," Xu Huo said. "Cannibal players should be more resilient than other players. Even without limbs, you still have plenty left. Though the skin is a bit burnt."
Catching the hint in his words, the woman couldn't stop trembling. After forcing herself to endure for a long while, she said, "Leave the original wormhole point. I was originally a player from the E15 wormhole point."
Xu Huo looked her over. "How?"
"I don't know!" The woman raised her voice. "I really don't know! How could someone at my low level have a way to cross wormhole points! I encountered a dimensional storm while fleeing, and when I woke up, I was here!"
