Chapter 3111: Perfect Evolver

That was true. Whether it was due to the sheer scale of the war or someone deliberately concealing the truth, almost no information about the battle at the time could be found under the Dimension.

With the current game's technology, capturing the battle footage of Super Players wouldn't be difficult. Otherwise, why would the game platform periodically release public updates on player statuses? It was simply a matter of whether they wanted to make it public or not.

At the very least, Carmen Field's war, which involved several Super Players, was likely not a simple invasion.

After leaving the theme park, Xu Huo went to check out the restaurant Carmen liked. Coincidentally, he ran into the two players he had met earlier at the exhibition hall. They suggested sharing a table.

There were quite a few tourists visiting out of admiration, so Xu Huo readily agreed.

After a brief exchange, they learned that the taller man was named Li De, and the shorter one was Cui Tan. Li De was very outgoing. After chatting for a while, he claimed to have hit it off with Xu Huo and mentioned that they would also be touring the district and later visiting the battle site, inviting Xu Huo to join them.

Xu Huo said his tour route application hadn't been approved yet, so his itinerary was uncertain for the time being.

Li De was generous, saying, "Our route is already confirmed. We're leaving in two days. Tour route applications usually take about ten days. There's no need to waste that time!"

Since they were so insistent, Xu Huo didn't refuse and agreed to set off with them.

Over the next two days, he wandered around the city, buying some local specialties to send to the two children.

At the same time, he kept an eye on the situation in Zone 025. The matter of using Degraded Players as experimental subjects had caused an uproar, leading many players in the district to doubt the government's pension welfare system. The pension records publicly released by the district government were no longer enough to dispel public suspicion.

Naturally, chain reactions began in other districts as well. Whether it was because the buyers of the experimental subjects hadn't covered their tracks well or someone deliberately exposed them, some individuals involved in purchasing Degraded Players were also exposed, leading to power struggles among various factions.

As for Ding Xiang, there was still no news. However, another unfamiliar account contacted him through the Dimension, telling him she was safe but wouldn't be able to move freely for a short time.

Given Ding Xiang's involvement in the Degraded Player trading incident, the Inspection Department would certainly take action. When things go too far, they reverse. Perhaps the Inspection Department initially wanted to turn a blind eye, but the more the matter escalated, the more the mindset of those in power would change. More factions would get involved, leading to a tug-of-war where small figures might become bargaining chips for the powerful.

And at that point, the small figures often became less important.

He hoped she would be safe.

Two days later, Xu Huo met up with Li De and Cui Tan. Li De remained enthusiastic, sharing interesting anecdotes about Field.

Cui Tan's thoughts were a bit scattered. When they arrived at the first site and looked at the ruins, he asked, "Was Mr. Carmen a Perfect Evolver?"

Dr. Wu had placed quite a few Perfect Potions, and quite a few should have been obtained from the A-Class Wormhole Point. It shouldn't have been difficult to cultivate a few Perfect Evolvers.

Li De had a similar guess. "Five types of Super Evolution. Apart from talent, there must be differences in the degree of post-evolution. And the Field Clan has resources. Finding a few Perfect Potions wouldn't be a problem."

Of course, this was also the consensus among many players. After all, the foundation of the A-Class Wormhole Point far surpassed other Wormhole Points. Many Perfect Potions were placed in low-level instances, making them incredibly easy to obtain.

"Not necessarily," a female player nearby chimed in. "I've heard that Perfect Potions become harder to find the further you go. And once you start Perfect Evolution, the Evolution Agents sold by the Game Government are no longer applicable. You have to find a complete set of Perfect Potions to complete the evolution."

"Missing even one, even the last one, means you're not a Perfect Evolver. Compared to the risk of getting stuck at a certain evolution stage and being unable to progress further, using ordinary Evolution Agents doesn't have that concern. As for Degradation, the vast majority of players can evolve smoothly to over 90%. That's a problem for much later."

Li De hesitated. "The A-Class Wormhole Point doesn't cultivate Perfect Evolvers?"

"Maybe a few," the female player said. "But if it were me, I would definitely give up on Perfect Evolution. There are so many A-Class players in the game. If you get stuck at 70% or 80% evolution rate because you can't find the potion... that feeling probably isn't much better than knowing you'll Degrade in the future."

Cui Tan glanced at her. "Is that what you chose?"

The female player smiled frankly. "My family has a bit of influence. We managed to find the first few Perfect Potions, but we never found the later ones."

In other words, she had once faced that choice and had simply given up.

"Then it seems you'd only dare to cultivate a Perfect Evolver if you've gathered the entire set of potions," Li De said. He paused, then laughed. "That's good, at least it keeps things fair. I can't even imagine what it would be like if the A-Class Wormhole Point suddenly produced a bunch of Perfect Evolvers!"

The female player also laughed. "My name is Sen Sen. What should I call you all?"

Sen Sen seemed quite knowledgeable. Li De and the others naturally didn't refuse her company and simply followed along at the back of the tour group.

Most of the visitors were players, and what they were most interested in were the truly useful battle sites. So, even if the simulation guide spoke with great passion, their interest waned. After all, the novelty had worn off in the first few days of entering Zone 001. They could now recite a hundred of Carmen Field's scandals without repeating themselves.

"Sen Sen, do you know anything about the next battle site we're going to?" Li De asked. "I heard there's still residual energy from Super Players there."

Sen Sen nodded. "That's right. Super Items created a Chaos Space, and some energy was preserved. Every year, one or two players gain some unique insights into evolution there. I believe Mr. Carmen's spirit, if it knows, would be pleased."

Cui Tan looked at the information on his terminal. "I heard there's a lot of residual Space Energy inside. It's quite dangerous."

"Chaos Space is naturally dangerous. The only good thing is that it perfectly preserves the Space Entity Mr. Carmen created. You'll see it when you go."

"Have you been there before?" Li De pressed.

"Several times," Sen Sen sighed. "Unfortunately, I never gained anything. That's why, as soon as I came back, I had to make time to go check it out again."

"This gentleman is rather quiet," she said, turning to look at Xu Huo with a smile. "He hasn't said a single word the whole way."

Li De and Cui Tan paused. To be honest, they had been so busy chatting and looking at information that they had almost forgotten about Xu Huo.

Xu Huo also smiled. "I'm new here. Listening to experienced insights is also very beneficial for me."
