# Chapter 3072: Spatial Tsunami
The chaos space had temporarily disappeared, but its appearance had given Double Head and the others some peace of mind—at least the chaos space wasn't as dangerous as they had imagined. As long as they could endure until it vanished, they would survive.
"Are you guys hungry?" Double Head patted his stomach. "Let's find something to eat first. My brain can't even function right now."
But looking around, where could they find food?
The temperature was gradually rising, and the group began trudging through the wasteland again. Fortunately, they had some luck. Before long, they found a metal box that had been blown out by an explosion. It was one that Loving Orange had used to store medicine, and there was still some dried meat inside.
At least they had something to eat. They divided a bit of water among themselves before finally resting.
"Earlier in the chaos space, the compass was basically useless. Now it's back to normal," Navi said. "Let's follow the direction from our previous map."
"There's no better option for now," Old Duan added. "It would be nice if a not-too-strong player team showed up."
As the temperature rose, they would soon run out of water. Without supplies, they couldn't last more than a few days.
Time quickly reached noon. They draped their jackets over their heads, but their lips were still cracked from the sun. The little water they had left could only be looked at, not drunk, and they had to hurry along.
"Why hasn't the arena match come yet?" Double Head stared blankly at the endless barren plain ahead, muttering to himself, "Why haven't any living people come yet? If they don't show up soon, I'll have to drink my own urine... no, I don't have any urine... I'll drink blood..."
Loving Orange looked at him with a complicated expression. "Save the energy you're wasting on acting and use it for walking."
Double Head turned to stare at her water. "Give me a little... just a little..."
Old Duan couldn't stand it anymore and poured a bottle cap's worth of his own water for him. "Talk less."
Double Head drank it without any hesitation and finally shut his mouth.
Just then, Xu Huo suddenly stopped, pointing his chin forward. "Supplies are coming."
The others waited a moment before sensing someone approaching from ahead.
Double Head and Old Duan immediately perked up. Tossing their jackets aside, they charged forward like wild horses breaking free of their reins.
The two players heading toward them were badly injured. Double Head and the others didn't have to put in much effort to take them down. In fact, seeing the numbers against them, the two players surrendered helplessly, only asking to keep their lives.
They still had some water and food, which Double Head and the others took and divided, eating and drinking while asking about their situation.
The two had just gone through an arena match. They had only survived because they ran fast, but every single one of their companions had died—half of them hadn't even made it through the first round.
"How should we handle this?" Double Head exchanged a glance with Xu Huo.
"Then come with us," Xu Huo said. "Turning back won't get you out of the wasteland anyway."
The two hesitated. "There's a very strong player team ahead. We passed several dried-up corpses on the way. The wounds on them were left by that team's weapons. They're probably lurking in that area waiting for the arena match."
Both of them only had 100 points, while Xu Huo's group, after averaging from the arena, had around 2800 points each.
"Do you have a better choice?" Ding Xiang asked. "The wasteland probably has a time limit too. No matter where you hide, Challenge Island will eventually kill you."
The two truly had no choice. Either they agreed or they would be dealt with. Either way, they couldn't keep what they had.
"My name is Norman, and this is Chenxiao." They briefly introduced themselves.
The group of eight expanded to ten.
"You'll find out soon enough—joining us is definitely not a loss." Double Head was quick to get friendly, slapping shoulders and shamelessly asking what instruments they were carrying.
With this temporary supply of supplies, Xu Huo and the others could finally travel in relative comfort.
After about half a day more of travel, a player team appeared ahead. It was actually the white-haired man's group.
There had been no conflict between them before, so Xu Huo's group didn't deliberately keep their distance. They approached and greeted them.
The white-haired man's team had started with seventeen people, but now only fourteen remained. Three of them were badly injured, and the bloody smell from their bandaged wounds lingered in the air.
The team's atmosphere wasn't good. Yilan took the initiative to talk with them. When she learned that Xu Huo's group had been trapped in the chaos space for several days and still come out safely, she couldn't help but remark on their good luck.
"We fought four arena matches," Yilan said. "Some wins, some losses."
Their points were around four thousand each, higher than Xu Huo's group, but they had earned them with great difficulty.
"No matter how strong you are, it can't beat good luck," a short player in the team said with a fake smile. "Even you guys managed to scrape through an arena match."
"So arena matches can be scraped through too? Sounds like you're speaking from experience. We can't compare," Double Head shot back.
The short player was clearly looking for a fight. He tossed his water bottle aside and was about to make a move, but the white-haired man stopped him. "Rest while you can. Conserve your strength."
The short player sat back down, his expression sour.
With a teammate acting like gunpowder, Yilan found it hard to continue talking with Ding Xiang and the others. The two groups rested separately.
But in this heat, resting was hardly comfortable. Just as they were about to set off again, a corpse suddenly came flying at them from ahead!
That's right—a dried-up corpse appeared out of nowhere, leaning backward as it was impaled on invisible space blades. It suddenly stabbed into the white-haired man's team!
The players dodged to both sides, but the next second, spatial power erupted violently. Countless space blades surged toward them!
"Fall back!" someone from the white-haired man's side shouted. But as they turned, they found Xu Huo's group had vanished into thin air. When their vision shifted, they saw the group pause a kilometer away before quickly disappearing again!
The spatial evolver in the white-haired man's team wasn't slow either, leading the team in a rapid retreat.
The two groups were chased across the plain by a tsunami of space blades behind them. They tried to use space barriers to block, but they couldn't hold for more than a few seconds before being torn apart. Against such a massive eruption of spatial power, the strength of a few players was nowhere near enough to withstand it!
Fortunately, the space blade tsunami wasn't too fast—they still had room to run...
But just as this thought crossed their minds, the spatial power that had been following them suddenly spread from both sides, forming a pincer movement to surround them!
In the moment of crisis, two players from the white-haired man's team suddenly disappeared. Their teammates realized they had used long-distance teleportation instruments to escape, but in the critical moment, there wasn't even time to say a word, let alone vent their frustration.
They couldn't escape.
Xu Huo stopped and began to mobilize the surrounding space rays.
