# Chapter 2349: You Can Repay Me by Being My Servant

Then the woman lightly covered her lips again, "Oh dear, I can't talk too long with you, I have to go now."

After saying this, she brushed past Xu Huo's shoulder and left.

Watching the several players charging over aggressively, Xu Huo stopped her briefly, taking the prop she had stuffed into his pocket and putting it back into her hand.

The woman looked rather helpless, "Are you so insensitive? Can't you see that was just an excuse I made to see you again?"

"Is that so?" Xu Huo said. "I think it's more like an excuse to escape."

The players had already arrived, and seeing the woman being stopped, they immediately shouted at her, "Hand over the prop!"

"What prop?" The woman's expression turned cold as she stepped behind Xu Huo. "Don't tell me you're ganging up on me just because I'm alone!"

The group shifted their gaze to Xu Huo. "Are you two together?"

Xu Huo gestured for them to calm down, then called over a nearby shop assistant right in front of them. "Please report this to the Enforcement Team. There's been a theft here."

The woman flashed more than ten meters away in an instant, calling back to the group from a distance, "You didn't think about the prop when you were taking advantage of me, but now that I've been groped, you want the prop back? Nothing comes that cheap! Consider the prop your compensation!"

By the time she finished speaking, she had completely disappeared into the crowd.

The players watched her run off, frustrated, and wanted to take it out on Xu Huo. But meeting his gaze, they suddenly calmed down and left with wary expressions.

"Sir, should we still call the Enforcement Team?" the shop assistant asked.

"No need." Xu Huo gave him two White Notes.

This was just a minor incident, but unexpectedly, not long after, they saw the thieving woman again. This time she had changed her appearance, wearing a form-fitting short skirt, her hair in long waves, heavy makeup on as she sat drinking at the bar. There were quite a few bottles beside her, and she appeared somewhat drunk.

Two or three men surrounded her, listening to her story about being betrayed by her lover, urging her to drink more.

"Do you know what happened to that scumbag in the end?" the woman asked those around her with a hint of a smile.

Naturally, someone played along, and the woman quickly gave the answer. "Of course he died. He wanted me to feed the Xenomorphs, so I had to strike first and let him become the food!"

The ordinary people sitting near her or watching her from the bar automatically retreated, leaving only players.

A middle-aged man next to her laughed instead. "I like women like you who dare to love and hate. Such women are loyal to their lovers, not the kind of fickle goods."

The woman lifted her eyelids to glance at him, pressing her wine glass against his shoulder and gently pushing him away. "Then what kind of goods are you?"

The man's voice dropped low. "Of course I'm a romantic. After my last girlfriend cheated on me behind my back, I've stayed pure, not even touching a woman's hand..."

The woman laughed crisply. "Then why did you touch my hand just now?"

"You're different. I fell in love with you at first sight..." As he spoke, he leaned closer and closer, eventually whispering something right against her ear.

Before long, the two left one after the other.

The Painting Woman insisted on trying the fruit platter here, so Xu Huo witnessed the entire flirting process. The woman also noticed him and gave him a subtle wink as she passed his table.

Less than two minutes later, a fight broke out in the restroom. Because they had used props in advance, no one outside noticed the commotion—or if they did, they didn't care.

Another two minutes passed, and the man was gone. The woman walked out alone, bearing some minor injuries that didn't look serious, but she carried a strong smell of blood.

After coming out, she left the bar directly, and then two more players from different spots in the bar left one after another.

Xu Huo finished his drink before settling the bill and walking out.

When he reached an alley entrance a few streets away, he stopped and called inside, "Time to go back."

The Painting Woman, her hands covered in blood, waved at him, signaling him to come in.

Xu Huo walked in. The two men who had followed were already dead. The woman, trying to maintain her composure, leaned against the wall, two holes in her stomach still bleeding. Potion bottles were scattered all around, but the effect wasn't very good.

He glanced at the Painting Woman, who was rummaging around beside the corpses, and tossed her a bottle of Cleaning Agent. "Stop searching. Clean your hands and clothes."

Both men had been killed by the Painting Woman—one with his throat slit, the other with his heart ripped out. That's where the blood on her hands came from.

"Two against one, they weren't good men. Two against two, they all died." The Painting Woman briefly justified her meddling.

"Thank you both," the woman on the ground said weakly. "You helped me in the bar restroom."

"I didn't help you," Xu Huo corrected. In fact, the woman had already been seriously injured in the bar. Her original plan was probably to lure players into killing them, but she didn't expect the middle-aged man to be stronger. If the Painting Woman hadn't intervened, she would have almost been killed. After the middle-aged man couldn't withstand the Painting Woman's props and fled, she hurriedly left, only to be targeted by someone with ill intentions and ambushed halfway.

Then the Painting Woman had followed.

The result was right before their eyes.

"Still, thank you," the woman smiled weakly. "Meeting again so soon—isn't that fate?"

Xu Huo glanced at her, didn't say much, and called the Painting Woman to leave.

The Painting Woman also looked at the woman and tapped on her communicator. "You won't die, will you?"

"Can't die." The woman supported herself against the wall and stood up. "I don't mind telling you, I've been in this line of work for a few years. I've suffered worse injuries than this and still kept my life."

The Painting Woman paused, then turned back to Xu Huo and said, "She's so weak."

The woman smiled bitterly. "Little sister saved my life, and I have nothing to repay you with. If you have any requests, just say them. If I can do it, I will. If I can't, I'll write an IOU."

"I don't want an IOU," the Painting Woman replied quickly. "You can repay me by being my servant."

The woman's face twitched, and suddenly intense fear and hatred burst from her eyes. She gripped her prop and said through gritted teeth, "Don't even think about it!"

Xu Huo patted the back of the Painting Woman's head. "What do you want her to be your servant for?"

The Painting Woman irritably smoothed her hair. "If she can't give herself to me, then of course she should be my servant. That's how it works on TV. I don't want her giving herself to me—I don't fancy her. Being my servant suits her fine. Wherever I go, she goes. She can wash my clothes, cook for me, and clean for me."

Realizing she had misunderstood, the woman's expression softened, and she instead smiled teasingly at Xu Huo. "Being a servant? I won't do that either. A scholar can be killed but not humiliated... Giving myself to you, though, that's possible. It just depends on whether this gentleman is willing."
