# Chapter 233: The Murderer Is Someone Else

All the players present were shocked. You Huanhuan stared in disbelief at the tall man before her, "Impossible... you can't..."

But Lu Gang clearly didn't want to hear the rest of her words. He grabbed her throat and slammed her hard against the ground!

The sound of bones hitting the floor tiles was clearly audible. You Huanhuan's jaw was dislocated, but her hands quickly grabbed his arm and twisted it forcefully, pulling Lu Gang's arm out of joint while flipping him over, then thrusting two fingers toward his eyes!

"I knew you were trouble!" Gao Jun, who was nearby, kicked her hand away and tossed out a red bouncing ball. When the ball hit the ground and bounced up, it shot out ropes in all directions, instantly binding You Huanhuan tightly the moment they touched her!

"More of these damned props!" You Huanhuan used both hands and feet, actually managing to snap the ropes one after another!

Gao Jun's expression changed slightly as he instinctively retreated, but You Huanhuan seemed to have caught his weakness. She leaped up from Lu Gang and thrust her hand, now showing only palm bones, toward his throat!

Gao Jun couldn't dodge in time and got his neck skin cut. He swung a short knife in return, but the distance seemed insufficient to kill You Huanhuan. However, just as she leaned back, the short knife suddenly extended, and the newly grown blade struck her on the top of her head, shaving off a layer of her hair!

She avoided a fatal wound, partly due to her quick reflexes, but more because she was short—a slight bend of her knees achieved the effect. But seeing her hair fall to the ground, her features twisted with rage!

Seeing the danger, Gao Jun immediately retreated but was kicked in the back of the knee by You Huanhuan. His body lurched forward, and even though he forcefully twisted to the side, he still couldn't escape her. But then a kitchen knife flew in from behind, forcing You Huanhuan to dodge to the side!

Gao Jun immediately crawled behind a pillar, while You Huanhuan was forced to the center line of the exhibition hall, surrounded by Fan Shiji, who had thrown the kitchen knife, Li Weiran, and the others.

"So many of you ganging up on me alone, using sneak attacks and underhanded tricks—you grown men have no shame!" You Huanhuan retreated warily.

"A cannibal player stops being human the moment they start eating people—even worse than an animal. Why would we need to talk about honor or face with you!" Li Weiran charged forward first. He split a large pair of scissors in two, holding one half in each hand, spinning and swinging them, instantly shrinking You Huanhuan's range of movement!

At the same time, the gloomy man, Xie Man, Fan Shiji, and Xu Huo flanked her from left and right. Seeing herself about to be surrounded, You Huanhuan could only flee toward the museum entrance. But Lu Gang, who had been watching for her, jumped out from the front side and kicked her back!

Li Weiran's large scissors chopped into You Huanhuan's leg. Her body dropped, and she couldn't avoid Lu Gang stepping on her face, then pinning her legs down as she fell backward!

Li Weiran closed the scissors and cut off You Huanhuan's left arm, while Fan Shiji stomped on her right arm, breaking it. Before she could even scream, Lu Gang raised his knife and stabbed her more than a dozen times!

In just a few seconds, You Huanhuan's thighs, chest, and abdomen were full of bloody holes. She spat out blood foam, lying on the ground without any strength to resist. And even this didn't seem to satisfy Lu Gang. He stood up, walked to her head, and stomped on it again and again until her facial bones shattered and her face was unrecognizable!

The liquid spreading on the ground was impossible to identify, but none of the other players stepped forward.

"This guy is a bit unhinged," Fan Shiji muttered.

Xu Huo thought it was perfectly normal. Lu Gang had been controlled by You Huanhuan, and now that he finally had a chance to fight back with the other players, how could he miss this perfect opportunity for revenge?

Before every outburst from Lu Gang in the museum, You Huanhuan had made a small tugging motion on his clothes—that should have been her giving him instructions. But she clearly hadn't expected this big guy to be playing dumb.

After a while, Lu Gang finally stopped. He wiped his shoes on the nearby floor and even spat on the person lying there. By now, You Huanhuan's head was a mushy mess, completely unrecognizable as a human head.

"You Huanhuan cut out my tongue and controlled me to participate in the instance," Lu Gang read aloud from the text he typed on his phone. "I'm a normal person who had to pretend to be mentally deficient."

The players were silent for a moment. Lu Gang continued, "If it weren't for your help, I wouldn't have escaped her control. I have no hostility toward you. To thank you, I can tell you one fact."

"Pan Siming wasn't killed by You Huanhuan. She never opened her door last night, so the murderer is someone else."

Getting rid of a murderous cannibal player should have been a cause for celebration, but Lu Gang's claim that You Huanhuan wasn't the killer made everyone's expressions turn wary again.

"You're lying," Fan Shiji challenged. "You Huanhuan is a cannibal player. You'd naturally say that to protect yourself."

Lu Gang pulled down his clothes, revealing the black number on his shoulder.

"Numbers can be faked," Ni Tian immediately said. "Who knows if you have a prop that changes colors? What if you changed your own color and then changed someone else's to frame them?"

Lu Gang was slightly angry. "Is there such a prop?"

"Just because you haven't seen it doesn't mean it doesn't exist!" Ni Tian backed away a little. "Looks like I shouldn't get too close to you."

Lu Gang opened his mouth, then quickly typed on his phone again. "I have evidence."

He played a video—a two-person video of him and You Huanhuan. They had returned to their room early, so they were already in bed when the monster knocked on the door. The video recorded the commotion next door, the sound of the monster passing by their door twice, and the clear sound of doors opening and closing.

This evidence was enough to prove he wasn't lying, but after watching it, everyone had only one thought: "The monster was right outside the door, and you two weren't in a hurry to find the painting? You sure had a lot of free time."

"You Huanhuan was very strong in combat. Even one-on-one, I was no match for her. She planned to wait until the last two days to reap the rewards. As long as someone cleared the instance, she could take their ticket and return ticket—it didn't matter where she went," Lu Gang added.

That made sense.

"Then who's the cannibal?" Xie Man looked around at the companions she had just fought alongside, falling into confusion and doubt again.

Excluding You Huanhuan and Lu Gang, that left Fan Shiji.

"You're not suspecting me, are you!" Fan Shiji said in panic, pulling open his collar. "I'm a white player. If you don't believe me, look!"

"White players aren't necessarily not cannibals," Ni Tian suddenly said. "Honestly, judging a player's good or evil solely by their number is completely unreliable. Some people become red players because they ate people unknowingly in a state of confusion during their initial evolution. After regaining their senses, they can survive by eating the dead. But I've seen black cannibal players who hang out with cannibal players."

"Why do they eat people?" Xie Man asked incredulously. "Ordinary players have evolution agents. There's no need to use this method to increase their evolution rate!"
