Chapter 2182: Knock Open Your Brain

The moment the voice fell, a figure suddenly appeared in the center of the hall. It was a man wearing a mask, his face completely hidden, revealing only a pair of eyes that were as calm as a stagnant pool.

He stood there, as if he had always been there, yet no one had noticed him before.

The surrounding players instantly became alert, their gazes all converging on him.

The mask player slowly raised his hand, pointing at the middle-aged man in the center of the hall. "You, come out."

The middle-aged man's expression changed slightly, but he quickly regained his composure. "Who are you? What do you want?"

The mask player didn't answer, just stood there quietly, his gaze fixed on the middle-aged man like a hawk eyeing its prey.

The surrounding players exchanged glances, a hint of unease flickering in their eyes. They could all feel the dangerous aura emanating from this mask player.

The middle-aged man gritted his teeth, suddenly turned around, and tried to flee. But before he could take two steps, a sharp sound of breaking air came from behind him. He felt a sharp pain in the back of his head, then his vision went black, and he lost consciousness.

The mask player put down his hand, his gaze sweeping over the surrounding players. "Anyone else want to try?"

The players fell silent, no one daring to speak.

The mask player let out a cold snort, turned around, and walked toward the depths of the hall. His figure quickly disappeared into the darkness, leaving only the players standing there, looking at each other in dismay.

In the darkness, the mask player's voice came again, faint and elusive. "Remember, this is just the beginning."

The players shivered, a chill running down their spines.

They knew that this was no ordinary player, but a true expert, a being they could not afford to provoke.

And the middle-aged man lying on the ground had become a warning, a warning to all who dared to defy this mask player.

The hall fell silent once more, but the atmosphere had become tense and oppressive. The players all understood that this place was no longer safe, and they had to leave as soon as possible.

But before they could move, a voice suddenly came from the darkness. "Don't rush, the fun is just beginning."

The players' hearts tightened, and they turned their heads to see a figure slowly walking out of the darkness. It was a woman, her face covered by a veil, revealing only a pair of eyes that shimmered with a strange light.

She smiled slightly, her voice soft and sweet. "I'm here to play a game with you."

The players looked at each other, a sense of foreboding rising in their hearts.

The woman continued, "The rules of the game are simple. You each tell me a secret, and whoever tells the most interesting secret will be allowed to leave."

The players fell silent, all of them thinking.

The woman didn't rush, just stood there quietly, waiting for their answers.

After a long time, a player finally spoke up. "I... I'll say it first."

The woman nodded, signaling him to continue.

The player took a deep breath and said, "I... I'm actually a government spy."

As soon as the words left his mouth, the surrounding players were shocked, all looking at him in disbelief.

The woman, however, showed no surprise, just nodded slightly. "Interesting, you can go."

The player breathed a sigh of relief, turned around, and quickly left the hall.

The remaining players looked at each other, then began to speak one after another, each telling their own secrets.

Some said they were traitors, some said they were murderers, and some even said they were cannibals.

The woman listened quietly, occasionally nodding, occasionally shaking her head.

Finally, only one player was left. He was a young man, his face pale, his body trembling slightly.

The woman looked at him, a hint of a smile in her eyes. "What about you? What secret do you have?"

The young man bit his lip, hesitated for a moment, then finally spoke. "I... I know who the mask player is."

The woman's eyes suddenly sharpened. "Oh? Tell me."

The young man took a deep breath and said, "He is... he is..."

Before he could finish, a sharp sound of breaking air suddenly came from the darkness. The young man's eyes widened, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth, and then he fell straight backward.

The woman's expression changed, and she quickly turned around, only to see the mask player standing not far away, his hand still raised.

The mask player looked at her coldly. "You talk too much."

The woman sneered. "So what? Do you think you can kill me?"

The mask player didn't answer, just slowly lowered his hand.

The woman's expression suddenly changed, and she felt a sharp pain in her chest. She lowered her head to see a blood hole had appeared in her chest, blood gushing out.

She looked up at the mask player in disbelief, her mouth opening and closing as if she wanted to say something, but in the end, she said nothing and fell heavily to the ground.

The mask player glanced at her body, then turned and walked into the darkness, his voice drifting over. "This is the price of talking too much."

The hall fell silent once more, leaving only the two bodies lying on the ground, silently telling the story of what had just happened.
