Xu Huo felt a tremendous force trying to tear his body apart. He quickly activated his defensive barrier, but the barrier began to crack under the violent twisting force.
“Die!” The voice roared, and the runes on the walls suddenly shot out countless beams of light, converging into a massive energy pillar that blasted straight toward Xu Huo.
Xu Huo’s pupils contracted. He knew he couldn’t take this head-on. In a flash, he activated his space teleportation item, instantly disappearing from the spot.
The energy pillar struck the spot where he had just been, directly piercing through the floor and creating a bottomless hole.
“Hmph, think you can run?” The voice sneered. “This entire building is my domain. No matter where you hide, I can find you.”
Xu Huo appeared in the corridor outside the room, but he found that the corridor had also become twisted and deformed, with walls, ceiling, and floor all merging together, forming a bizarre, closed space.

“Your control over space isn’t refined enough,” Xu Huo said indifferently. “Every time you manipulate space, you leave a weak point.”
The middle-aged man’s expression shifted between anger and shame. He gritted his teeth and said, “Don’t get cocky. Even if you find me, so what? I still have plenty of tricks up my sleeve.”
As he spoke, he pulled out a strange-looking dagger from his bosom. The dagger was pitch black, and the blade was covered in strange runes, exuding a sinister aura.
“This is a space-type attack item I spent a huge price to acquire,” the middle-aged man said grimly. “Today, I’ll let you have a taste of its power.”
He raised the dagger and slashed at Xu Huo. The blade tore through the air, leaving a black rift in its wake, and the rift rapidly expanded, as if it wanted to devour everything.
Xu Huo’s expression turned serious. He could sense the terrifying power contained in that rift. If he was hit by it, even with his strength, he would likely be severely injured.
He didn’t dare to be careless. He immediately activated his full spatial power, forming a dense spatial barrier in front of him.

The black rift collided violently with the spatial barrier, sending out a deafening roar. The surrounding walls and floor shattered inch by inch under the impact, and the entire building shook violently.
The middle-aged man’s face turned pale. He hadn’t expected Xu Huo’s spatial power to be so formidable, actually able to withstand his all-out attack.

He had just stepped out of the room when he saw a group of people rushing toward him from the end of the corridor, led by a middle-aged woman with a sharp face.
“It’s him! He killed my husband!” The middle-aged woman pointed at Xu Huo, her face twisted with rage.
The group of people immediately surrounded Xu Huo, their eyes filled with hostility.
“Kid, you’ve got some nerve, daring to kill someone on our turf,” a burly man said coldly. “Hand over the stuff and come with us, and maybe we’ll give you a quick death.”
Xu Huo glanced at them indifferently and said calmly, “If you want to die, I’m happy to oblige.”
“Arrogant!” The burly man was enraged. He let out a roar and charged at Xu Huo, his fist wrapped in a fierce gale.
Xu Huo didn’t even dodge. He simply raised his hand and pointed a finger.
A beam of spatial light shot out, piercing through the burly man’s forehead.
The burly man’s charge came to an abrupt halt. He stared at Xu Huo with wide, incredulous eyes, then fell straight backward.
“Ah!” The middle-aged woman screamed, her face filled with terror. “He... he killed Big Head!”
The others were also shocked and furious, but they were also intimidated by Xu Huo’s strength, and none of them dared to act rashly.
“Who else wants to die?” Xu Huo asked lightly, his gaze sweeping over them.
