Chapter 1889: Can't Stand Seeing Others Get Rich
Xu Huo naturally wouldn't hand the potion over to the other party. Instead, he carefully squeezed out two drops himself. However, to everyone's disappointment, spots appeared on the wormhole flower petals, proving that the Perfect Potion wasn't real.
"What a pity." The Natural Curl shrugged, then after examining the petals, said, "Although it's not a Perfect Potion, the potion's composition is still decent. I'm quite interested in this aspect. If you're willing, you can still sell it to me. I'll still pay double the price."
"If it's not a Perfect Potion, what are you going to do with it?" the Square Face stared at him. "Playing the good guy all the way onto the Dimension Train?"
The Natural Curl smiled nonchalantly. "Besides being a player, I'm also a businessman. I personally run over a dozen potion factories and several laboratories. The better the quality of the potion, the higher the selling price, of course."
These words made everyone fall silent simultaneously—even among players, the gap between rich and poor remained an unbridgeable chasm.
It was at that moment that Xu Huo felt his eyes heavily close. And as he shut his eyes, a faint force suddenly surged toward him through the air. He reflexively used a Defense Item, clearly sensing the Defense Barrier being triggered, and his eyes reopened.
The process was as brief as a natural blink. If not for the fluctuation in space, this less-than-a-second interval would have been no different from before.
His gaze shifted from the Injection he held beneath his hand to the Natural Curl, who maintained a smile across from him. Xu Huo put the Injection away and also smiled. "Selling it to you wouldn't matter normally, but I resent the rich. I can't stand seeing others get rich."
The Natural Curl's expression paused for a moment, and then the other players in the carriage burst into laughter.
After this minor incident passed, everyone in the carriage went about their own business. Some had just come out of an Instance, others were rushing to one, so they all seized the time to rest or memorize Instance strategies, not wasting energy on trivial matters.
Midway, Xu Huo went to the dining car to eat. A player was performing magic tricks, not as mysterious as an ordinary magician. Since for players, "quick eyes and nimble hands" or relying on Item effects were too easy, this player mainly focused on "performance." After finishing his one-man show, he went around asking the diners for money.
This player didn't find it shameful to have reached B-rank and still do this. Instead, he cheerfully said to people, "My family used to have some money. I leveled up as a player by relying on guides. Now the family fortune has declined, and I'm short on cash. Fighting tooth and nail in Instances doesn't yield much money, so doing a bit of performing isn't bad."
The diners were all very generous, and Xu Huo also gave a tip. When it came to the Natural Curl, who arrived later, he smiled and said, "I'm not interested in your performance."
The performing player kept his smile and moved on to the next person.
Xu Huo looked up and saw the Natural Curl, who had sat down by the window, raise his wine glass toward him.
Without responding to him, Xu Huo took out several notebooks about evolution he had found in someone else's Luggage Compartment and began reading.
Soon it was time for lights out. Xu Huo returned to the carriage just before the lights went out. As he was about to enter his room to rest, the Natural Curl quietly reminded him, "You've only recently become an Advanced Player, haven't you? Not much experience. On the train, whether taking someone else's things or giving things to others isn't a good thing."

After saying this, he blinked and entered the room next door himself.
These words came true in the middle of the night. The player who had performed in the dining car during the day came to their carriage around one in the morning.
Some players didn't like sleeping in the cramped rooms, so they occupied the sofas in the carriage. This player walked up to someone who had given him money, took off his hat, placed it on his chest, and gently bowed his head as if in greeting. Then he put his hat back on and walked to the next player, repeating the same action.
Other than that, he did nothing else. And the players he had greeted showed no changes either, as if he had simply passed by and given them a bow.
This abnormal behavior naturally caught the attention of others. So when he approached the third player, that player grabbed him by the collar and lifted him up.
"What are you doing!"
Unless they had been hit with a trick, which player would dare sleep soundly at night? With that shout, everyone opened their eyes.
The performing player quickly said, "Don't misunderstand. I'm getting off the train before dawn tomorrow. I just came to express my gratitude."
"Do you think anyone would believe that?" Another player who had been "thanked" by him said coldly, raising his hand to kill.
But the man who had been grabbed by the collar suddenly burst like a punctured balloon, exploding into a pile of paper scraps, and he himself disappeared!
Everyone hurriedly searched front and back, but found no trace of him on either side.
"I clearly sensed him coming over." The player who had acted said, then moved to search the front carriage. But just as he took two steps, the Item he was holding in his hand suddenly went "bang" and turned into fluttering colored paper scraps!
"Damn it!" The player cursed, immediately putting away all the Items on him, then subconsciously looked at another player who had been "thanked." That person was also putting away his Items, but in the next second, a handful of colored paper burst from the pocket on his chest.
"He'd better really get off the train before dawn!" the man said through gritted teeth.
Thanks to someone stopping him earlier, the other players in the carriage who had given money didn't suffer any Item losses.
Of course, the trick he pulled might not necessarily have been because they gave him money.
"I put a mark on him," said the player who had acted first. "As long as he dares to come, even changing his skin won't help!"
But just as this matter had barely settled, a commotion broke out in the front carriage. Seconds later, two players rushed into Xu Huo's carriage one after another, immediately attacking the three players still standing in the middle.
When players fight, even a second's delay could be fatal. So no one asked for the reason behind the attack. Several of them started fighting right there in the carriage, and it was impossible not to involve the people nearby. Within just two minutes, more than half of the players in Xu Huo's carriage had joined the melee. Meanwhile, several players from the front carriage also chased over.
In the chaos, no one knew whose Item hit the door of Xu Huo's room. The entire outer wall of the room shattered instantly. And as the glass broke, several blades hidden in the darkness flew toward him.
The barrier he raised blocked the attack. While Xu Huo used Space Ray Blade to separate the surrounding players, the Black Blade also stabbed toward the Natural Curl right beside him. "Just because I wouldn't sell you the potion, there's no need to kill, is there?"

The Natural Curl didn't say a word. He clapped his palms together and shattered the Space Ray Blade. At the same time, he flicked his fingers, and two powerful forces pressed down on the Black Blade, striking Xu Huo's chest!
