Chapter 1372: Feels Good, Doesn't It?

Aside from the restaurant section open to the public, the back kitchen, storage rooms, and freezers were areas that couldn't be observed. Beyond that, the restaurant also formed a barrier with the city outside. Although the street scene could be seen through the glass windows, spiritual power could no longer penetrate this wall.

From the current situation, all players' range of activity was limited to the restaurant. What they could do was very simple: order and eat without provoking the waitstaff, and after finishing their meal, they could freely take paper and pen to vote.

The restaurant would not publicly tally the votes for the dishes, but players could discuss among themselves. Whether they arrived early or late, players tacitly ordered cheap vegetarian dishes. Some people asked the waitstaff not to clear their plates after eating, thus reminding those who ordered later, ensuring as much as possible that everyone voted for the same dishes.

Some players even openly displayed their votes on the table for other players to reference.

There were also those with a strong sense of caution who gave up ordering and only ate the dry rations they had brought.

As for questions beyond ordering and voting—such as whether there was a place to stay at night, how to get a room, whether number plates could be exchanged, or if losing one would cause trouble—the waitstaff would not answer. Out of caution, no one pressed the waitstaff too hard.

Overall, there was very little players could do during the day.

"What are you doing!" A sharp female voice came from the side, accompanied by the sound of a chair being dragged. A woman of no ordinary appearance stood up, forcing herself to stay calm, and glared fiercely at the man in front of her.

Standing opposite her were the two big men who had earlier prevented Xu Huo and Dai Song from sitting down. The one with the gun shook his hand and said exaggeratedly, "Ouch, you hit me so hard!"

The two had found three more companions, and the group laughed and leered at the woman, their eyes scanning her up and down.

The woman felt uncomfortable but stood her ground stubbornly, refusing to back down. "If you leave now, I'll pretend this never happened!"

But the men laughed even louder. The gun-wielding player shoved aside a young man who tried to help, grabbed the woman by the wrist, and pulled her close. His other hand reached directly for her backside, laughing, "Your claws are pretty strong—bet you're not bad in bed either!"

The woman couldn't break free at all. She bit down hard on the man's approaching mouth, but he slapped her so hard she fell onto the table. He grabbed her clothes, ready to tear them off, but his companion stopped him. "Don't make it too ugly. Wait until tonight."

In broad daylight, it wasn't a good look. Although most players didn't care much, there were still some who found their behavior disgusting.

The gun-wielding player had no choice but to let go for the moment. Just as he was about to drag the woman away, she grabbed a piece of broken porcelain from the table and stabbed it toward her own neck!

"Want to die!" The gun-wielding player, furious and humiliated, directly snapped her arm with force, grabbed a bottle of medicine, and was about to pour it into her mouth. But the next second, the glass bottle shattered in his hand. With a "crack," a strange fragrance spread through the air.

"Someone would rather die than sleep with you—why force it?" A few meters away, a female player wearing a baseball cap, who had been sitting with her back to them, spun around in place, changed direction, and leaned over the back of her chair, smiling at the gun-wielding player. "In broad daylight, forcing yourself on someone isn't a good look. Look around you—see how many female players are here."

In fact, besides the baseball-capped woman, many other players in the restaurant had stood up or adjusted their positions. Bullying the weak was common in the game, but being too arrogant would inevitably provoke public anger.

"With so many people to choose from, you pick a woman who isn't even a player. How pathetic," the baseball-capped female player continued. "Come find me instead—I guarantee I'll make you feel so good you'll die."

After the random instance opened, both players and non-players had a chance to enter, so among the hundred or so people in the restaurant, there were over a dozen ordinary people.

But they weren't entirely ordinary, because a few of them had already begun to evolve. They were just unlucky enough to step into a C-rank random instance.

The gun-wielding player was enraged by the baseball-capped woman's words. He threw aside the woman in his hands and rushed forward in one swift motion, throwing a punch straight at her face!

He wore a prop on his wrist, and the punch carried not only a powerful shockwave but also a dozen fine needles as thin as ox hair. However, they were all blocked by the baseball-capped woman's defense prop. She didn't hold back either. After blocking the first strike, she flashed forward and charged at the gun-wielding player, sending him flying with overwhelming force!

The overturned chair hadn't even hit the ground before the gun-wielding player flipped over five tables and slammed into the opposite wall. The woman caught up, pressing her knee against his throat. "Feels good, doesn't it?!"

The fight hadn't escalated to a full-blown brawl yet, so neither side's companions had joined in, only watching each other warily.

Since they weren't intervening, the other players naturally stayed out of it. Xu Huo and his group, whose tables and chairs had been swept away, happened to be in the path the gun-wielding player had taken. They had no choice but to step aside.

"Get lost!" The gun-wielding player roared, shoving the woman away. As he stood up, he grabbed at the air with his other hand, and several translucent lines appeared out of nowhere, snaring the woman and pulling her toward him. At the same time, he produced a massive shield covered in spikes, intending to ram her in retaliation.

But his opponent was far more agile. She flipped upward, breaking free from the restraints while jumping out of his attack range. As if deliberately mocking him, she landed on top of the shield. With strength that seemed disproportionate to her build, she stomped the shield to the ground. Then, the baseball-capped woman let go, dropping an iron helmet.

The rust-covered helmet was lined with jagged teeth, making a grinding, rotating sound as it fell. The gun-wielding player instinctively raised his shield to block, only to have a corner of it sliced clean off!

Having lost one prop, the gun-wielding player finally seemed to grow cautious. He knocked the woman back and retreated several steps, as if he no longer intended to engage in close combat.

The baseball-capped woman naturally wasn't about to let him go. But as she chased after him, she accidentally stepped into a trap. One of her legs was swallowed by a blurry, indistinguishable object that clung tightly to the ground, immobilizing her. Before she could use a prop to free herself from the strange substance, the gun-wielding player turned back and fired three shots at her head!

These weren't ordinary guns. The golden bullets could pierce through defense barriers and even destroyed a defense prop at close range. Just as the third bullet was about to hit the baseball-capped woman, a spinning metal bookmark appeared in front of her forehead.

"Ding!" The bullet was deflected, shattering a water glass on a nearby table. The metal bookmark then spun around the area where the woman's leg had disappeared, freeing her in just two seconds.

"That's enough." The gun-wielding player's companion called a halt.
