# Chapter 1343: Despairing Void

Even someone as strong as Qi Xia had lost all options in this space.

He could not see any light in any direction. He did not even know which direction he was currently gazing toward.

When he reached out his hand, he could not see his own fingers. When he shouted loudly, he heard no echo.

An unprecedented sense of loneliness and despair began to surface simultaneously in the hearts of both Qi Xia and the observing Celestial Dragon.

Not knowing how long he would drift in this bizarre space, the only thing Qi Xia could do was maintain his sanity.

After discovering that moving in any direction led only to pitch blackness, he began to repeatedly recall his miserable life in his mind to keep himself clear-headed.

But no matter how many times he revisited that life, it was always despair and failure.

Celestial Dragon gradually began to be affected by the despair within Qi Xia's heart, yet he could only stand at Qi Xia's perspective and experience all of this, with no way to intervene.

In this pitch-black void, the Qi Xia before him hadn't gone mad yet, but Celestial Dragon felt that he himself was about to go mad.

This was a complete sense of maddening emptiness.

Perhaps for anyone else, time was ticking away second by second, but for Qi Xia in this space...

Only his thoughts were flowing.

Apart from his active thoughts, everything else seemed frozen.

Endless darkness and an unseen path ahead were enough to crush anyone with a strong heart.

Whether it was Qi Xia or Celestial Dragon.

"Hey..." Celestial Dragon was losing patience. "White Sheep, what exactly is going on? How long are you going to make me watch this?"

Contrary to Celestial Dragon's expectations, no one in the entire space responded to him anymore.

"White Sheep...?" Celestial Dragon called out tentatively again, but the whole space remained silent.

Celestial Dragon sensed something amiss. If the "Eternal" was going to continue like this indefinitely, regardless of whether Qi Xia went mad, he himself would surely lose his sanity.

But what was this "Dreamwalk" about?

Was he dead, yet he didn't know it?

Thinking this, Celestial Dragon felt his thoughts becoming chaotic. He could no longer distinguish the interweaving of dreams and reality.

Which experience was real...?

He could only hastily try to cut off the "Dreamwalk," but only then did he realize that his own "faith" was as insignificant as an ant before the entire world.

This world possessed a "faith" as grand as the universe, locking him in place so firmly that he could not escape at all.

"White Sheep... are you messing with me? Experiencing 'Eternal' in a place with nothing at all—how am I supposed to glimpse the method to become a 'god'?"

But no matter how Celestial Dragon cursed, he received not a single sound in response.

In the boundless void, only the intermittent flow of Qi Xia's thoughts was transmitted to him, making him feel as though he too had lived an entire lifetime.

After Qi Xia had replayed his own life over and over many times, he began to recall his life in "Zhongyan Land" within the void.

To avoid losing his mind, he kept his thoughts as active as possible. But over the long stretch of nothingness, his eyes gradually lost their light, and his expression grew increasingly wooden.

Using limited thoughts to break through infinite frozen time...?

Qi Xia knew that to stay sane, he had to find something to do.

Many more days passed, and even the consciousness of the observing Celestial Dragon began to scatter.

That damned White Sheep still ignored him, letting him follow the master of this dream wandering through the entire "Eternal."

He somewhat regretted entering this story through "Dreamwalk."

This "Dreamwalk" was unlike any previous one. He was like a wisp of residual soul standing beside the master of the dream, experiencing everything together, time passing second by second, without even the right to fast-forward.

Just as Celestial Dragon was dazed, the Qi Xia before him seemed to think of something and suddenly widened his eyes.

A spark began to glow in his eyes, and an expression appeared on his face.

He extracted a detail from his experiences in "Zhongyan Land."

He remembered a sentence Celestial Dragon had said—

The "Train" is ready.

The "Train" has three stops, but aside from "Taoyuan," the other two stops are both empty nothingness.

From that moment, his thoughts exploded in a leap. Countless ideas flashed through his mind, and these flashing thoughts also transmitted into Celestial Dragon's brain.

Celestial Dragon was stunned speechless by this scene. Nothing had happened, yet the speed of Qi Xia's thoughts was so fast that Celestial Dragon couldn't keep up.

Before he could understand the meaning of one thought, the next flashed by.

"Wait..." Now it was Celestial Dragon's turn to be shocked. "Is this the 'next stop'?"

Floating beside Qi Xia, he looked at the boundless void—was this the "new world" he had been yearning for?

After the "Train" was destroyed, Qi Xia, as the sole survivor, had fallen into this "new world"?

"A void..." Qi Xia murmured. "That's right... a void... I've got it... I know..."

With so many thoughts racing, even Celestial Dragon had no idea what Qi Xia was about to do.

He saw Qi Xia reach out his hand, as if trying to touch something, but there was nothing in his hand.

"'Faith' isn't enough..." Qi Xia muttered. "Nothing can be used here... I still need time..."

Celestial Dragon never expected Qi Xia's statement "I still need time" to be uttered so casually.

Because from that moment on, Qi Xia began to empty his mind, completely letting go of his sanity, drifting aimlessly in this space.

Time began to pass. With nothing to reference here, even Celestial Dragon didn't know how long had gone by.

Perhaps months, perhaps a year or two.

Qi Xia never spoke another word. The space was silent, without even the voice of "White Sheep." Only Celestial Dragon was left alone, shouting here.

His physical body was not within this "Eternal," making his mind exceptionally clear. He could not even take a short nap or fall asleep. He experienced every single second of the incredibly long passage of time, clearly and painfully.

This was a slow torture he had never imagined.

Only then did he truly feel how insignificant a so-called "god" was before eternal time.

Just a year or two was enough to make a person who called himself a "god" scream in despair here.

Finally, at some unpredictable moment, Qi Xia suddenly moved, just like before.

He abruptly raised his hand, then moved his fingers slightly, as if performing some action.

Seeing this, Celestial Dragon was overjoyed. Although he didn't know how long he had waited, Qi Xia seemed ready to act.

If he hadn't raised his hand, Celestial Dragon would have thought he was facing a corpse.

But a few seconds later, Qi Xia's fingers stopped moving. Nothing happened in the entire space.

Qi Xia sighed, slowly lowered his hand, dropped his head, and fell silent again.

"No..." Celestial Dragon said in despair. "Don't do this... What are you trying to do? Try again!"

But no matter how Celestial Dragon shouted, Qi Xia only remained quietly with his head down, his eyes slightly open, staring ahead as if dead.

Endless despair and darkness once again enveloped Celestial Dragon. This was the most unbearable situation.

If Qi Xia had never acted at all, Celestial Dragon might have been able to endure the endless darkness. But he just had to move that one time.

When would the next movement come? What exactly was he trying to do?

And so, in this agonizing wait, Qi Xia would suddenly raise his hand every year or two, move his fingers a few times in the air, then lower his head again.

At first, Celestial Dragon waited with anticipation for Qi Xia's movements, but every time it was the same. He felt as though he was being toyed with all over again.
