Chapter 1336: Traversal

Seeing Celestial Dragon's silence, Azure Dragon spoke softly again: "Celestial Dragon... your current state really isn't right... Are you sure you don't want to go rest for a bit?"

Upon hearing these words, Celestial Dragon's expression shifted from confusion to anger: "You're messing with me... What the hell is this place...?"

With a face full of fury, Celestial Dragon strode step by step toward Azure Dragon. Though he had already vaguely guessed the answer, he still refused to believe it.

"This is our 'Taoyuan'... and also the 'Train' that carries hope..." Azure Dragon replied. "Celestial Dragon... you're tired."

Celestial Dragon reached Azure Dragon, staggering as he reached out to grab his collar, but Azure Dragon stepped back, evading to a distance.

"You don't even dare to let me touch you..." Celestial Dragon gritted his teeth. "You have absolutely no connection to this world... No one can see you, and you can't affect this world either... When your palm rested on my shoulder, it was as light as paper... You're afraid of contact with anything in this world... You..."

Celestial Dragon looked like he wanted to leap up and kill the Azure Dragon before him, but his strength was almost entirely spent.

"You really are tired..." Azure Dragon replied expressionlessly. "Time to rest, isn't it?"

"C-Celestial Serpent..." Celestial Dragon turned his head, trembling as he spoke to the others. "Capture him quickly... He's a fake... Celestial Serpent..."

But what Celestial Serpent was there in this room?

Heavenly Pig stood to the side, holding his own head in his hands. The head in his hands kept revealing a bitter smile: "Celestial Dragon... but I tried... I can't kill Azure Dragon..."

"Heavenly Pig... you..."

"Why must the two of you always push me to the front when you fight?" the head in Heavenly Pig's embrace laughed bitterly. "I just want to live... I just want to escape... Why won't you give me a chance to survive?"

"No... Heavenly Pig... you're dead..." Celestial Dragon said woodenly. "You were clearly dead..."

"I am dead. But who was it that killed me... Was it you... 'Taoyuan'... or Azure Dragon?"

"He's not Azure Dragon..." Celestial Dragon took another step forward. At that moment, the sensation of difficulty breathing surged into his heart again. "And this isn't 'Taoyuan' either... This is..."

Though his mind was a blur, his "conviction" unstable, and his breathing labored, Celestial Dragon still stammered out his conjecture:

"... my... dream...?"

"You really are an impressive character." Azure Dragon nodded. "To discover that this is a dream while inside your own dream... That already surpasses many people. It seems you won't go to sleep obediently."

"If I fall asleep now... then you'll truly have your way..."

Celestial Dragon clutched his chest, feeling like his breathing was about to stop. Even though he had discovered this was a dream... what was happening on the "real" side?

"Celestial Dragon..." Azure Dragon gave a faint smile. He patted his own chest and asked very softly, "We're both about to become 'gods,' and yet we still subconsciously want to breathe?"

Celestial Dragon pressed his chest and asked in a low voice: "Transforming into another person inside my dream... How did you do it...?"

Azure Dragon listened and said softly: "Celestial Dragon, when you first 'woke up'... what were the three sentences you remembered?"

Upon hearing this question, Celestial Dragon's whole body stiffened, and then he carefully recalled.

When he first "woke up," aside from the meaningless words of those rebels, the only three sentences he could remember were—

"I am Azure Dragon."

This sentence was repeated three times, constantly deepening his memory.

After these three sentences, the blurry figure before his eyes gradually transformed into Azure Dragon.

"So I am Azure Dragon." Azure Dragon pointed to the wound on his own forehead. "I am the one who fought to the last moment at the 'Train Head,' leaving myself covered in scars—Azure Dragon. Am I wrong?"

"You're manipulating my subconscious...?" Celestial Dragon felt he had been schemed against from the very beginning. "At the 'Train Head,' under the tree, before the throne—the only one who could fight against the 'rebels' was Azure Dragon... You took the opportunity to disrupt my cognition..."

"Isn't this your favorite tactic?" Azure Dragon raised an eyebrow. "To meddle in other people's dreams. No matter how unreasonable things appear in a dream... the dream's owner will think it's normal. It's just that your 'conviction' is excessive, your rationality gradually fading, and along with it, this dream is beginning to collapse."

Celestial Dragon forced himself to take a step forward: "Take off your mask... Let me see your face..."

"You want to see my face?" Azure Dragon slowly retreated to the door.

As he stepped back, the entire scene began to gradually collapse.

"Celestial Dragon." Azure Dragon let out a light laugh at that moment. "Come find me. I'll grant you a defeat."

"Where... do I go to find you...?"

"The old place." Azure Dragon said. "It's the same for everyone in all of 'Zhongyan Land'! If you miss someone, you'll meet them... Right?"

With that, he backed out of the room, stood in the corridor, twisted in place, and vanished.

In the haze, Celestial Dragon heard a voice from outside the door: "I can't get away. You go quickly."

Before Celestial Dragon could react, the entire room began to crack extensively. Heavenly Pig at his side dissolved into blood right before his eyes, scattering into the void.

Celestial Dragon immediately used "Air Hover" to float in place, watching helplessly as the floor beneath him and the walls beside him collapsed and shattered.

This was the first time he had witnessed the collapse of the space he occupied. A fear of being utterly unable to control his fate began to surface in his heart.

Where was this now?

How was he supposed to get out?

A few seconds later, everything within Celestial Dragon's sight was reduced to a single door floating in midair. Beyond that, all around was pitch black.

The scene inside that door was also collapsing rapidly, revealing strange colors.

In disbelief, Celestial Dragon stepped onto empty air, walked forward, and arrived before the door.

This was the first time he had felt fear of the unknown. What was waiting for him inside the door?

What was the "old place"?

At this moment, he felt a dull pain spreading all over his body, and his breathing became even more difficult than before.

He hesitated slightly, then stepped through the door. To his shock, outside the door was a familiar room.

Familiar furniture. Familiar decor.

Outside the window was still the familiar world of flesh and blood.

Was this... White Sheep's home in reality?

Countless questions began to bombard Celestial Dragon's brain, whipping his already chaotic thoughts into an even more furious tornado.

From when... had the "Train Head" room been connected to this room?

"Don't just stand there. Sit."

A voice sounded without warning behind Celestial Dragon, making his whole body tremble slightly.

He turned around in bewilderment and saw a girl dressed in white walking through the doorway from behind him. She was carrying two plastic bags, as if she had just returned from grocery shopping.

"Xia told me there would be an honored guest visiting today. Is that you?"

After speaking, she turned around and closed the door on her own, cutting off all of Celestial Dragon's retreat.
