# Chapter 974: Three-Way Talks

The two chatted casually as they walked, and after another half hour on the road, they finally arrived at the prison gates.

A man with long hair tied in a braid was standing guard at the entrance. After some introductions, they learned his code name was "Mogi" — Liu Ershiyi.

He seemed fairly familiar with Jiang Ruoxue, but had no recollection of Chen Junnan.

After the two stated their purpose, "Mogi" led them inside the prison, settled them in a meeting room, and then left to summon someone.

Chen Junnan stood up, pressed his ear to the door to listen, and realized that "Cat" was quite lively tonight — it sounded like there were at least twenty to thirty people inside the building.

It seemed everything was exactly as Qi Xia had said... the entire "Cat" had come back to life.

"This is a living cat..."

Their bustling tonight was likely a celebration of rebirth, after all, from everyone's perspective, they couldn't figure out in the short term why they had survived.

Back then, Qi Xia had only told Qian Wu and Zhou Liu that his ability was "Endless Rebirth," but could they have imagined that "Endless Rebirth" could pull off a resurrection on such a massive scale?

"Old Qi... what exactly have you..."

The two sat in the room for a few minutes when the sound of boots echoed from outside the door. Within seconds, Zhou Liu's figure appeared at the entrance.

She had heard that the visitors were a man and a woman. She had made many guesses, but never in her wildest dreams did she expect it to be this man and this woman.

Her gaze flickered between Chen Junnan and Jiang Ruoxue for a moment, and Zhou Liu's expression soon turned troubled.

"Well!" Chen Junnan grinned at Jiang Ruoxue. "Sis, the person I need to see has arrived. How about you step out for a bit? The two of us have an important meeting scheduled here as planned."

Jiang Ruoxue furrowed her brow slightly upon hearing this, then quickly smiled. "But the person I need to see is also Zhoumo. Why don't you step out first?"

"What?" Chen Junnan was taken aback. "Not only are we heading to the same 'Cat,' but we're looking for the same person? Hah... Sister Jiang, why didn't you say so earlier? If you had, I could have come in your stead, wouldn't that have saved you the trouble? Look at this mess."

Zhou Liu slowly walked into the room and closed the door behind her.

The situation was a bit complicated for her now.

Jiang Ruoxue was naturally here representing "Jidao," while Chen Junnan was most likely representing Qi Xia. As for herself, her current identity was the vice-leader of "Cat."

Three different factions sitting together wasn't a big deal in itself. The problem was that she had some connections with both of their factions. If she met either of them alone, she could manage a conversation. But with both present at once, her position became awkward, and many things couldn't be said directly.

"Tsk..." Zhou Liu clicked her tongue. "You two... came together?"

"Yeah." Chen Junnan nodded. "Any advice?"

"Tsk, 'advice'? No, I just can't figure out why you two would show up together." Zhou Liu sat down with a troubled expression.

"Don't listen to his nonsense." Jiang Ruoxue interjected. "We just happened to run into each other."

Zhou Liu nodded and fell silent for a moment before speaking again. "Tsk, I know you both probably have things you need to discuss with me privately. So how about you two decide who steps out first to give the other some space..."

"I suddenly have an idea." Chen Junnan cut off Zhou Liu. "Sister Mo, I'd like to ask you something first."

"Go ahead," Zhoumo replied.

"Are all the brothers from 'Cat' resurrected?" Chen Junnan pointed outside. "Including your leader, Qian Duoduo."

Zhou Liu nodded. "That's right."

"Good. Then I won't hide it from you either. Old Qi did this." Chen Junnan smiled. "He made such a big move to bring these people back, which goes to show that this is a critical moment."

Jiang Ruoxue and Zhou Liu both seemed stunned.

"You're saying Qi Xia resurrected all these people...?"

"Let's set that aside for now. You should also know that even if our camps are different — I'm a Calabash Boy, and you're the Snake Spirit and Grandpa —"

"Tsk..." Zhou Liu frowned. "Who the hell is the Snake Spirit and Grandpa?"

"My bad, my bad." Chen Junnan laughed. "What I meant was, even though we each have our own camps, we all share a common enemy, right? That person at the very top."

"So what?"

"So right now, we should set aside our camp differences and share our plans with each other. Only then can we unite our efforts and achieve our goal." Chen Junnan continued.

Zhou Liu was silent for a few seconds after hearing this. She slowly stood up, opened the door, and said to someone outside, "Tell Shijiu to drop what he's doing and come see me."

With that, she returned to the table and sat down. "Tsk, this moment might indeed be extremely critical for all 'participants.' But our 'Cat' has always been neutral. I can't guarantee anything to you. I can only say... as 'Zhoumo,' I will do my best to help you."

"I disagree with that formulation." Jiang Ruoxue interjected. "First, let me clarify: This is not just a casual meeting of three factions. The three of us here right now are the second-in-command of our respective factions, so our words can represent our leaders."

"I might be the third-in-command..." Chen Junnan muttered quietly.

"Doesn't matter." Jiang Ruoxue continued. "So in this conversation, I don't mind being open and honest. Even if your 'Cat' has always maintained a neutral stance, if I remember correctly, the ultimate goal of 'neutrality' is 'survival,' and 'survival' is for the sake of the plan, isn't it?"

Zhou Liu nodded slightly. "Yes..."

"In other words, all three of us carry important 'missions.' There's no need to be sanctimonious about dividing ourselves into 'participants' and various 'camps' at this point." Jiang Ruoxue said seriously to both of them. "Whether you admit it or not, we are all Baiyang's people."

Chen Junan quickly cut in. "Hey, don't say that... our Old Qi is not one of them."

"Whether he is or not, you know better than anyone." Jiang Ruoxue said. "We've all been working toward the same plan until now. Their leaders have things to do, and as second-in-commands, we naturally need to fulfill our own duties and lighten their burden."

Zhou Liu let out a deep sigh. "Tsk... it's come to this, after all?"

"Zhoumo, I know you have deep feelings for 'Cat'..." Jiang Ruoxue continued. "But you also need to understand that if you truly want them to live better... they don't need those 'gods' above."

Just as the three were lost in their own thoughts, a soft knock came at the door.

Yun Shijiu entered the room, bowed slightly to the three of them, and then spoke to Zhou Liu. "Sister Liu... what are your orders?"
