# Chapter 46: Two Tigers on One Mountain

Seeing that Qi Xia had no further tricks, Zhang Shan immediately took a big step forward and rushed at him.

Qi Xia didn't hesitate either. He pushed the two chairs beside him forward again, placing them between himself and Zhang Shan.

The tall, burly Zhang Shan was naturally a bit slow in his movements, and now with these two chairs blocking him, he nearly stumbled.

"A dragon fighting in the wild, its path is exhausted."

Qi Xia took a running start, stepped onto the chair, and leaped up. Before Zhang Shan could steady himself, he pounced directly onto him, straddling him.

He knew that Zhang Shan was fundamentally different from Little Glasses and Old Lyu. There was no way he could make him yield through intimidation alone. So, before the other could react, Qi Xia rained down punches on his face while riding him.

Zhang Shan immediately bent his arms to protect his chin and the sides of his face, while keeping his eyes fixed on Qi Xia's shoulders. By judging the direction of his punches, he continuously blocked Qi Xia's attacks.

Qi Xia's fists fell like raindrops on Zhang Shan's arms, feeling as hard as hitting a wall.

"Kid... you're asking for death!"

Taking advantage of the gap when Zhang Shan spoke, Qi Xia drove his fist down between the man's two arms, aiming straight for his nose.

But Zhang Shan seemed to have anticipated this. He simply clamped his arms together, and Qi Xia's fist could advance no further. He locked Qi Xia's joint, then grabbed his arm and twisted it to the side. Qi Xia rolled off to the side, and Zhang Shan broke free from the restraint.

"I really did underestimate you..." Zhang Shan slowly stood up, brushing the dust off his clothes. "Were you an assassin before you came here? Who fights like that?"

Qi Xia also stood up with a grim expression, panting heavily.

That attack had been his last desperate gamble, yet the other man had remained almost entirely unaffected.

"Hey, hey, hey!!" Little Glasses ran over at this point, looking anxious. "Why are you two suddenly fighting... both of you, calm down..."

"I can't calm down anymore." Zhang Shan laughed angrily. "Today, I have to beat this kid until he's completely convinced."

Before Qi Xia could think of a countermeasure, Zhang Shan had already knocked all the chairs flying and charged at him. His thick arm swung like a pillar toward Qi Xia's face.

At the critical moment, Qiao Jiajin reached out and hooked his arm.

"Big Guy, you can't hit him."

Zhang Shan, seeing himself blocked, increased his strength but found that this thin, tattooed-armed man had great strength, and he couldn't move at all.

"Another one sticking his neck out." Zhang Shan snorted coldly. "Why can't I hit him?"

"Because he's my 'Brain'." Qiao Jiajin smiled innocently. "If you smash his head, both of us will become stupid."

"He's your 'Brain'?" Zhang Shan found the man before him somewhat interesting. "Then what are you?"

"Me..." Qiao Jiajin let go of Zhang Shan's hand, took off his jacket, revealing his full-body tattoos and rippling muscles. "If I have to say it, I'm his 'Fist'."

Zhang Shan raised an eyebrow. "Interesting. Then let me spar with this 'Fist' of yours."

With that, Zhang Shan assumed a boxing stance, one arm curled up to protect his chin, while the other swung toward Qiao Jiajin, driven by the twist of his hips.

Qiao Jiajin ducked forward in a dive, dodging the punch while immediately closing the distance. He swung his right hand in an uppercut.

Zhang Shan tilted his head back and dodged that too. Then he quickly adjusted his stance, putting his right hand forward to create distance from Qiao Jiajin.

In that brief exchange, both knew the other had definitely trained before; otherwise, they wouldn't have such skills.

Zhang Shan thought for only half a second before stepping forward again and throwing a heavy punch with his left hand.

This time, Qiao Jiajin didn't dodge. Instead, he grabbed Zhang Shan's entire arm, then leaped into the air, spinning around. One leg hooked around Zhang Shan's neck, using his own body weight to pull the man to the ground.

He grabbed Zhang Shan's arm with both hands, placed it between his thighs, and pulled back continuously. His feet also searched for proper positions—one pressing down on Zhang Shan's neck, the other about to press down on his chest.

Zhang Shan found it hard to believe, but he quickly regained his senses. This was a common ground technique in mixed martial arts—the "Armbar." If his arm got locked straight, he would definitely lose.

Thinking this, he reached out with his right hand and clasped it tightly with his left, interlocking his fingers, temporarily preventing Qiao Jiajin from pulling his arm straight.

He couldn't understand how this thuggish gangster could execute such a standard move. Fortunately, he himself had some knowledge of fighting techniques. Though he hadn't broken the Armbar, he hadn't let his opponent succeed either.

Qiao Jiajin found that Zhang Shan's left arm wouldn't budge, so he extended a foot and planted it against Zhang Shan's right arm, using the strength of his thigh to force the two hands apart.

Zhang Shan was now drenched in sweat. After all, his hands were only interlocked by fingers, which wasn't a very stable hold.

Soon, Zhang Shan's hands separated. His left arm was pulled straight instantly, and the intense pain made him cry out in agony.

But being large-bodied, he quickly twisted around and threw a punch at Qiao Jiajin's abdomen with his right hand.

Qiao Jiajin pulled back his right leg, which had been pressing on Zhang Shan's neck, and used his knee to block the blow.

Zhang Shan seemed to find a way out. He kept throwing right hooks at Qiao Jiajin, who could only keep blocking with his knee.

For an Armbar to succeed, there were two key points: first, firmly control the opponent's arm; second, use both legs to press down on the opponent's neck and chest.

To defend against the attacks, Qiao Jiajin had to retract his leg. Losing the restraint of the right leg, Zhang Shan was able to get up.

So he yanked his left arm free and flipped himself over, trying to turn the tables and pin Qiao Jiajin down.

Seeing his opponent break free, Qiao Jiajin immediately extended his right foot to block him.

Unable to close the distance, Zhang Shan kept throwing punches at Qiao Jiajin.

Qiao Jiajin curled his arms, blocking left and right, while always keeping his right leg between them to maintain distance.

When Zhang Shan wasn't paying attention, Qiao Jiajin's raised right leg suddenly dropped, kicking hard into his opponent's calf.

Zhang Shan lost his balance again and was about to fall. Qiao Jiajin seized the opportunity, circled behind him, wrapped his right arm around Zhang Shan's neck, locked his left hand with his right arm for added pressure, and leaped backward, pulling both of them to the ground in a "Rear Naked Choke" guillotine.

Qiao Jiajin was about to tighten the choke when he suddenly realized something was wrong.

Looking closely, Zhang Shan had put one hand in front of his neck, preventing the choke from forming.

Although he had blocked Qiao Jiajin's attack, Zhang Shan was not in a good position either. He had protected his vital point, but his own hand was now trapped as well.

Neither could break free at this moment; they were locked together.

"Hey... Big Guy..." Qiao Jiajin gritted his teeth. "Do you want to surrender? Call me Big Brother, and I'll let go right now..."

"Damn it! I'd rather die by your hands than ever surrender..." Zhang Shan kept tensing his muscles, looking for a breakthrough, but Qiao Jiajin's stance was very stable, and he couldn't find any opening for the time being.
