# Chapter 34: We Cannot Face the Future in Ignorance

The weak have no reason to exist.

The history of civilization is the process of the strong continuously defeating the weak.

The weak are the Titan giant lizards that went extinct in the prehistoric ice age due to low temperatures; the weak are the primordial giant beasts that were killed by spears and hunted to extinction; the weak are domesticated livestock and cultivated crops; the weak are those alien races that once opposed the ancestors of the Royal Court and were devoured entirely—skin, bones, and blood alike.

Only the strong can survive in this world. Those defeated by the environment, those hunted and encircled, those tamed by intelligence, those exterminated by force—all are weak. And the strong drink the blood of the weak, using their bones and corpses to forge steps, climbing higher along the path of civilization. The strong despise all that is weak, including cubs that are not strong enough, individuals that are not intelligent enough, those born with disabilities. The laws of the Royal Court forbid these weaklings from existing; they are killed after birth and thrown into the abyss.

We of the Royal Court, we cut away every weak point on our bodies. We transform our bodies so that poisons that could originally kill us become chemical raw materials within us. We transform our thinking so that the attacks of gods, faith, and psychics become a joke. We detonate mana fission bombs in our own atmosphere and soil, filling the entire world with violent (kuangbao) magical radiation. All individuals who cannot withstand high-dose radiation exposure are failed weaklings.

We temper our bodies, sharpen our spirits, and learn all knowledge that can be learned. We are strong, intelligent, calm, and cruel. The strongest among us can even destroy a world. It conquered the sky and earth that nurtured us, so it became our king, leading us to conquer the myriad realms beyond—just as tens of thousands of years ago, we killed those giant beasts and alien races.

Then, we discovered even more weaklings.

Those one-eyed freaks enslaved by faith, those obsessive-compulsive collectors of knowledge everywhere, those hyperactive riders of void behemoths galloping around, those boring insects that eat everything as if reincarnated starving ghosts, those out-of-control (shikong) machines that must have program errors... On the vast stage called the multiverse, every place is filled with inexplicable alien creatures, everywhere are weaklings born from evolutionary errors. They huddle in every corner of the star river, wasting resources and food.

The existence of these shameful alien species is a mistake. We, who bear the responsibility of the strong, must correct them.

"This information must be reported to the Great Emperor."

In a vast star river, within a star domain controlled by the Takur Annihilation Order, near the core territory of the "Twelve Sanctuaries," a creature was hiding within a world wreckage resembling a comet. It lowered its life signal to the minimum, then followed the drifting trajectory of the world wreckage through various world star domains.

A lurker from the Amos Royal Court—reverently called the Blood Court by other civilizations—quietly collected information. Its powerful energy-sensing organs allowed it to cross world barriers and perceive various large-scale energy fluctuations within worlds. Thus, the lurker detected that its old enemy seemed to be planning something big. Within their Twelve Sanctuaries, there were energy fluctuations far exceeding normal days. Based on rich experience, the lurker could sense that the direction of those energy fluctuations was toward the distant reaches of spacetime.

"They are conducting wide-area detection of the Lost Star River... They must have found something valuable there. This information must be transmitted back to the Royal Court."

Thinking this, the lurker unhesitatingly began to deactivate its body's hibernation state. It could be seen that its body was like a complex root ball of a plant system, with each tentacle capable of sensitively perceiving all energy fluctuations within a star domain. This was also why it could lodge within world wreckage and still successfully perceive information within the surrounding worlds.

Naturally, this special form was not the original form of the Royal Court race.

In fact, every member of the Amos Royal Court was a uniquely modified lifeform. From birth, they had to endure high-energy mana radiation exposure. Those who underwent beneficial mutations and awakened the innate talent (tianfu) instinct in their genes to absorb radiation as energy were considered successful. They would undergo their first modification in their parents' hands—strengthening radiation resistance, enhancing vitality, eliminating various innate biological defects, and being able to feed on inorganic matter like soil and metal, and exist in the void with their physical bodies for short periods.

This was the first and only time a Royal Court member would have their life modified by others. In future studies and examinations, Royal Court members would follow their own will to transform themselves into the form they most desired. Those who failed midway would either become experimental material or die. The Royal Court would not accept any weak failures; they would rather have none than have inferior ones.

It was precisely because of this that the Amos Royal Court could confront the equally massive super void civilization—the Takur Annihilation Order—with less than one-tenth of their population, and even occasionally gain the upper hand.

The bodies of all successful Royal Court individuals were their own swords, their own armor, their own void warships. But this did not mean that Royal Court members did not use tools. They would enchant their swords and layer armor over armor. They pursued strength, not mere physical evolution. Besides biological technology, the Royal Court was also extremely advanced in mechanical construction. They could create artificial demiplanes and giant warships comparable to mountains. Their technology did not come from plunder but from the deepest thoughts of Royal Court members who chose to evolve themselves into thinking machines.

The lurker was a member who had evolved to the extreme in the aspect of "perception, search, and information." And now, it was about to show another side. All of the lurker's root tentacles awakened from hibernation, and this strange lifeform raised all these tentacles, constructing a shape similar to a transmitter.

Then, without any hesitation, it sent all the information it had obtained toward the direction of the Royal Court's border.

The massive information flow was formless and shapeless. Except for the brief energy fluctuation when the lurker erupted, there was almost no sign. But the lurker knew it would surely die. Those one-eyed fanatical believers would find the location of the abnormal energy source at the first moment and tear it to pieces. The two sides of the war did not need any prisoners; they could obtain any information they wanted from souls.

So, the moment it finished sending the information, the lurker decisively committed suicide. Countless root tentacles reversed direction, plunging backward into the lurker's core, then annihilated its soul. The death of the strong was also chosen by themselves, not through the hands of the weak—this was the creed of the Royal Court.

Soon, about ten seconds later, just as the lurker had predicted, accompanied by the fluctuation (bodong) of space-time sorcery, a total of twenty-four patrol soldiers of the Order appeared near the world wreckage. One of the captains rushed into the world wreckage first and found the corpse of the already-dead lurker.

"Suicide again... these Amos people... it has already transmitted the information back."

Upon realizing this, the one-eyed captain said in a deep voice: "This must be reported to the prophets. Our reconnaissance operations targeting the Lost Star River have been detected... The Royal Court will never tolerate us getting ahead in this regard. They will certainly immediately launch their own exploration of the Lost Star River."

And at the same time that the lurker transmitted the information and the patrol squad leader discovered the opponent's corpse.

Within the Twelve Sanctuaries World, in the First Sanctuary.

In the temple of the Takur Annihilation Order, a plainly dressed one-eyed elder was meditating deep within the sanctuary. Across from him, two priests wearing ornate prophet robes were also meditating.

In a world mixed with psychic energy, spirit, and divine power, they were communicating through pure will.

"The Amos people won't suspect anything. They are always like this. When they see us exploring the Lost Star River, they will unhesitatingly follow and attempt to surpass us."

The elder's thoughts were cold and steady. He dominated the spiritual world, and even the two strong ones with the title of prophet were as fragile as children before him. He calmly narrated the next plan: "When the Amos people launch their exploration of the Lost Star River, we will cease our exploration. The Third Prophet is right—the Lost Star River is indeed very dangerous. Our detection just now almost triggered a counterattack from the strong ones on that side."

Hearing this, the two wearing prophet robes nodded slightly. They responded in the spiritual world because they were also among those who had presided over the ritual earlier.

The memories of the two prophets were still clear. They still remembered the terrifying fluctuation (bodong) that came from the other side of the spatial rift—the aura that was faster than light and heavier than the world came together, seemingly wanting to cross distant spacetime and observe their world in reverse. If it weren't for the plainly dressed elder before them severing (qieduan) the connection of the spatial rift at the first moment, the existence of the Takur people would have been known by the powerful beings on that side.

"We conducted individual detection of those beings in the Lost Star River that act alone and have strong but not extremely strong life auras. Before being detected by the truly strong ones on that side, we had already obtained much intelligence."

One of the Takur people wearing prophet robes, who was also the Third Prophet who had conducted prophecies about the Lost Star River some time ago, spoke. He said seriously: "The discovery is astonishing. Most of the powerful life individuals appearing in the Lost Star River belong to the same race, and they are located everywhere in the star river. No matter how remote the place, they can appear."

"High Patriarch, we have reason to believe that the Lost Star River has actually been occupied by an exceptionally powerful void civilization. Their territory is the entire world star river. The various omens I predicted before were all powerful alien races that had been defeated and sealed by them."

"Yes." The other Order prophet wearing prophet robes was taciturn. Only now did he speak, saying in a low voice: "So let the Amos people explore. We only need to wait and observe."

The old man addressed as High Patriarch by the Third Prophet nodded noncommittally. His physical body had long aged, and his attire was like that of an ordinary farmer. But anyone who had cultivated spiritual transcendent power could know what terrifying soul power this seemingly inconspicuous one-eyed old man possessed.

Now, the sanctuary they were in, the holy city, this sky, countless Takur people working, the cultivated land and cities, the oceans and forests inhabited by countless lives, and even the entire First Sanctuary, the entire world—was nothing more than a 'real dream' constructed by this old man's soul.

Reality, illusion, psychic energy, dreams... all boundaries would dissipate before the ultimate achievement of psychic energy and divine power: the 'Canopy World'.

And there were twelve such worlds in total.

The successive High Patriarchs of the Takur Annihilation Order had each used their own souls as raw materials to build twelve Canopy Worlds. These worlds, between reality and dreams, were the eternal homeland and shelter (bihu) of all Takur people, and also their response and resistance to the 'Doom Prophecy' of the void sages of old.

The real world would eventually annihilate into nothingness. Only eternal dreams could endure forever in the darkness—this was the creed held as truth by the Takur Annihilation Order. All non-believers were enemies blocking the arrival of the only truth. The Order would unhesitatingly trample them into the dirt, turning them into ethereal psychic dust.

"Do not underestimate any race. They may not understand the ultimate truth of the multiverse, but we are merely one step ahead of them."

In the spiritual world, the High Patriarch slightly raised his head. His soul had long surpassed the limit beyond the limits of mortals, and even the world's will had been surpassed by him. This old man said in a low voice: "Using the hands of the powerful beings in the Lost Star River to weaken the strength of the Amos Royal Court—this is our plan. But plans can go wrong. If the Amos Royal Court truly contacts the other side, even they, bloodthirsty as they are, would probably temporarily suppress their destructive desires and attempt to use the other side's hands to strike at us."

"Prepare for both contingencies. We will temporarily stop observing the strong ones in the Lost Star River, but do not give up exploring the star river itself. Third Prophet, after you return, continue to maintain observation of the world itself."

"We cannot face the future in ignorance."
