# Chapter 35: The Blazing World
Inside the world, the Star Sea Hall had countless cracks spreading and then closing, like a piece of porcelain constantly shattering and repairing itself.
Outside, the real continent of Siberia was trembling violently, earthquakes and tornadoes that made all living beings tremble swept across heaven and earth.
This was not only because the world's coordinates were shifting toward the Void Great Maelstrom, but also because two god-like great existences were confronting each other at the world's core.
Before the Throne of Authority, Fatlervi watched the approaching Steel Giant God, looking at this powerful enemy who showed no sign of giving up.
He could not understand why.
Why? He had no chance of victory. Millions of futures flashed through the eyes of the Time Pusher, among which the warrior's chances of winning were pitifully few—and even these few possibilities were now rapidly dissipating, about to disappear completely.
The more he peered into the future, the more Fatlervi understood Joshua's combat methods. In these few short seconds, he had already fought against thousands of Joshuas in future illusions and defeated them—the opponent's habitual tactics, commonly used techniques, instinctive punching strength and direction, the effects of various authority abilities... all these things, Fatlervi now knew completely, even better than Joshua himself.
—Erase all of the opponent's chances of victory? Of course he could! But Fatlervi completely could not understand why he could not turn this 'future' into 'reality'! He clearly held an overwhelming advantage now, yet could not convert this advantage into 'victory'!
So, Fatlervi reached out once more. The Star River Giant pointed at Joshua, and the radiance of millions of authorities began to emerge from the star river within his body in sequence—these were the essences of all superpowers that Fatlervi had collected from the Void Great Maelstrom over a thousand years. One could see the radiance of authority spilling from his body, merging with the Steel Serpent phantom coiling around him, finally forming an illusory crown atop his head!
This crown was engraved with ancient runes. Twelve protruding sharp corners were inlaid with numerous multicolored gems. Countless steel particles condensed into fragments, even forming the main body of the crown. Above the Star Sea Dome, divine stars cast down a blue light connecting to this crown. One could see that in this instant, over a dozen soul stars abruptly extinguished.
"I see."
Wearing the crown, the Time Pusher commanded in a low voice: "The future shall be thus."
Hum! Accompanied by a slight hum, a light stream containing millions of colors surged outward from Fatlervi as the center, pressing in all directions like a tsunami! Even the world's interior was instantly completely covered by it. In this dreamlike light where countless colors flowed simultaneously, indescribable in any language, the Star Sea Dome was also eclipsed. And within this seemingly harmless light stream, indescribable danger was rapidly spreading!
A thousand years ago, a man who had mastered countless superpowers used his own strength to reach the world's interior. Here he saw the sleeping Steel Serpent and the enormous Throne of Authority. It was magnificent and beautiful, attracting the man's gaze.
The man resented the Steel Serpent's inaction and also craved the power of the world's authority. So, using the power born from the condensation of thousands upon thousands of superpowers, a crown formed from countless fragments of already destroyed worlds, he replaced, or rather merged with, the authority of the Siberia World.
He saw and commanded the world: "The future shall be thus."
So, the sleeping Steel Serpent, as he wished, was rejected by the world and cast out into the void.
And now, Fatlervi once again used his most essential power! Wherever the crown's light filled was his world—within his world, the future he desired would surely come!
The crown atop the Star River Giant's head suddenly lit up. He raised his finger, aimed at Joshua, and drew a dashed line in the air.
In an instant, countless superpowers activated simultaneously, attacking the warrior from every angle—at the same time, endless illusions began to generate around the Steel Giant God. These were phantoms from his world line, representing possibilities of different futures. In merely an instant, thousands of illusions appeared beside Joshua. Among them were illusions of him being torn apart by strong gravitational waves, illusions of him being decomposed into elementary particles dissipating in the atmosphere, and illusions of the warrior self-destructing due to various hidden dangers within his body. Each illusion meant a defeat ending for the warrior, meant a future Fatlervi anticipated.
But Joshua paid no attention to them, still walking with large strides. Even though sparks erupted spontaneously from various parts of his body, and degenerate matter armor fell off piece by piece—he breathed calmly, and with each breath, expelled thermal energy streams comparable to a star's corona. And as these waste gases produced by high-speed self-regeneration were expelled, the damaged transcendent modules within the warrior's body became increasingly perfect.
Degenerate matter body, stellar reaction furnace, jump engine, and various Steel Force authorities—these transcendent organs and modules were the foundation of the warrior's power. Numerous abilities gained from battles, enemies, the world's gifts, and self-power sublimation had allowed Joshua, who had only achieved Legendary rank for a few years, to reach a level comparable to the gods.
Joshua had originally thought these abilities could hardly undergo qualitative change, that only by reaching the next realm could he make progress. But Fatlervi's ability told him that he still had room for improvement. His limit was not the true limit—between life and death, between infinite possibilities, Joshua had found the path toward 'perfection'!
"..."
Taking another step toward the center of the world's interior, toward the Throne of World Authority, the already self-repaired Steel Giant God was silent for a moment, then said in a low voice: "So this is the feeling of having all hidden dangers within the body expelled."
The warrior now felt unprecedentedly strong.
Fatlervi's future observation ability was an inconceivable probability manipulation system. As long as something was probabilistically possible, he could make it become reality as much as possible—the moment he activated his ability, Joshua, who had originally thought his internal energy circulation system was already very perfect, nearly self-destructed on the spot. Countless seemingly insignificant minor errors accumulated and activated simultaneously, reaching a level sufficient to instantly kill a Legendary expert.
But that was already several seconds ago. Now, Joshua had repaired all these errors, bringing them to perfection.
'What cannot kill me only makes me stronger.'
Although still at a disadvantage now, those flashy little tricks could no longer hinder the Giant God's advance.
The next instant, endless Steel Force erupted and spread across Joshua's body surface. This was the high temperature and high pressure imbalance caused by the rapid formation of degenerate matter. Steel Force like helium flashes danced throughout the entire inner hall of the world. They were like sparks, even igniting and eroding space. Completely opposite to Fatlervi's power, this was not authority that 'replaced' the world, but complete destruction, the destructive force representing 'finality'!
This was precisely the path Joshua had chosen.
The illusions began to disappear. The defeat illusions that had appeared by the thousands every second were now dissipating at the speed of thought. Thousands, hundreds, tens, ones—in a breath, the 'possibilities' floating beside Joshua were almost completely dispersed, destroyed by pure force. All opportunistic methods vanished without a trace, leaving only the last few most stubborn world lines undestroyed.
These were futures where Fatlervi fought the warrior head-on and defeated him—and these futures were now illusory and ethereal. Though they existed, they were precarious!
Silver flames burned quietly, spreading as the warrior stepped forward. The fire soared into the sky, its intense light even shaking the star network, causing it to waver. Invisible twisted waves transmitted, extinguishing countless future illusions about to appear in their infancy.
Soul stars extinguished one by one, but could not suppress the spread of silver flames. Under the burning of these flames, space shattered, countless spiderweb-like cracks began to spread. In an instant, the connection between the world's interior and exterior was breached. Violent energy flows from the world's interior leaked through the cracks into the Siberia Continent. Instantly, the high heavens turned into a blazing sea of fire. Though the world had no sun, it was as bright as day. Countless mountains and buildings vaporized and disappeared under the invasion of this deadly energy flow, becoming fuel for the Giant God!
"Come on!"
Looking at Fatlervi before the throne, wearing the crown, using countless superpowers to attack him from the air, Joshua, who had almost reached him, curled his lips and strode forward: "Let's see whether I burn this entire world to ashes first, or you use up all these hoarded souls first!"
"Don't you have any compassion?"
Watching this scene, Fatlervi's expression did not change. He continuously used superpowers to attack, but his tone remained calm: "You became my enemy to save them, yet now you are destroying this world."
As he spoke, the eastern mountain range of the Siberia Continent had already turned into a silver-white sea of fire. This was the phenomenon of Joshua's Steel Force eroding matter, converting it into fuel he needed.
"You don't pity your world, don't pity your people, so why should I pity them?"
To this, Joshua sneered, as if mocking Fatlervi's sudden outbreak of kindness: "I don't care at all whether their world is burned to ashes by my flames or you devour every last bit of their souls—whether humans want to live has nothing to do with me, and nothing to do with you!
"Since neither of us cares, let me kill you first, then let them walk their own path!"
—Call upon your gods, your fate, call upon all your futures!
The Steel Giant God clenched his four fists, silver sparks flowing from between his fingers: "Fatlervi, today you are destined to meet destruction!"
