Chapter 29: Invincible

"Boss!" Bebe cried out in alarm.

Linley's face also changed drastically. Countless green snakes on the leaves of the Netherworld Fruit Tree shot toward him, both near and far, surging forward in a vast, sky-covering wave from all directions. So many green snakes could easily bury Linley alive!

The nine enormous green serpents watched coldly, smirking.

"Kill this Linley first, then deal with the other one." They were confident, because Linley's dragon scales weren't strong enough to ignore the bites of the green snakes.

"Oh?" Linley's mind stirred.

"Hum." A brownish-yellow light flared up, and a massive amount of earth elements began to gather frantically. Centered on Linley, within a hundred-meter radius, a brownish-yellow cube with sides a hundred meters long formed.

Blackstone Prison!

Many green snakes had already been trapped inside the Blackstone Prison, while even more surged forward, biting through the walls of the prison to break in. But when they entered, they found themselves in another sealed little room. The green snakes began blindly biting and scurrying around in all directions.

Each sealed room was a cube, two and a half meters on each side.

Within this hundred-meter-long Blackstone Prison, there were exactly 64,000 such small rooms.

"Roar!" The furious nine enormous green pythons wildly thrashed their bodies, smashing one room after another. But the moment they shattered one, the walls would repair themselves. At the same time, the entire Blackstone Prison was moving rapidly, soon leaving these nine serpent spirits outside.

Inside the Blackstone Prison.

Linley suddenly appeared in a sealed room, easily killing some of the green snakes inside, then quickly left. Other green snakes that sensed Linley's presence rushed over, but by the time they arrived, Linley had already moved elsewhere.

Within the Blackstone Prison, Linley's movement speed was the fastest!

With over sixty thousand rooms and the powerful gravitational force at play, the green snakes simply couldn't surround him.

"Trying to kill me with this trick?" Linley said with a faint smile as he casually slaughtered the snakes. "These little green snakes also contain strong energy. Killing them will definitely harm those nine serpent spirits." Linley didn't mind doing a bit more work, killing more green snakes.

Linley began a frenzied massacre of the small green snakes. He had complete control over the Blackstone Prison, knowing exactly where there were few snakes and where there were many. The green snakes were simply out of luck; they couldn't form an encirclement to deal with Linley. Inside the Blackstone Prison, they were as good as blind.

The nine enormous serpents outside the Blackstone Prison grew furious.

"What the hell is this thing?" A crisp voice came from one of the green serpents. She glared at the massive brownish-yellow cube before them. "Destroy it, and it repairs itself!"

"At this rate, we're just wasting energy," a deep voice said. "We can't kill that Linley inside that thing."

Immediately, under their control, a large number of green snakes began frantically retreating, biting through wall after wall until they escaped the Blackstone Prison. All the green snakes slipped away and returned to the Netherworld Fruit Tree.

"Whoosh~" The entire Blackstone Prison dissolved into energy and vanished.

Linley and Bebe appeared.

"Haha, weren't you trying to kill us?" Bebe laughed angrily. "Come on! Let's see what other tricks you have!"

Linley also stared coldly at the nine enormous green serpents.

"You two are indeed very strong!" A hoarse voice rang out. Linley and Bebe turned to look toward the canopy of the Netherworld Fruit Tree, where the sound had come from. With a rustling of leaves, a body covered in fine golden scales, about two meters thick, slowly slithered out.

A powerful aura spread out.

Linley and Bebe held their breath.

"Good heavens," Bebe said, eyes wide.

"This..." Linley squinted. The massive golden serpent kept slithering out from the canopy; the part already visible was over a hundred meters long. After a moment, the entire body of the golden serpent was fully revealed. It was a golden serpent nearly five to six hundred meters long and two meters thick.

This golden serpent coiled around the trunk of the Netherworld Fruit Tree, its icy, jade-green eyes looking down at Linley and Bebe.

"Father," the nine green serpents immediately rushed over.

"Father, it's them! You must avenge Big Sister!" the nine green serpents said in human speech.

"Don't worry," the low, hoarse voice of the golden serpent replied.

"I'll take one of them," a cold voice came from behind. Linley and Bebe's eyes widened as they immediately turned to look. A silver serpent, similar in size to the golden one, flew over from the distance. What shocked Linley the most about this silver serpent was—

It had nine heads!

And each of the nine heads of this silver serpent had pitch-black eyes, as dark as a deep, cold pool.

"Mother," the nine green serpents immediately called out.

"You're back?" the golden serpent said.

"How could I not come back when my daughter is dead?" the silver nine-headed serpent said coldly.

Bebe snorted, "No wonder you gave birth to a bunch of little freaks—the parents are even bigger freaks!" The aura emanating from these two great serpents was too strong. Just sensing it made Linley and Bebe's heads feel slightly dizzy. They understood that the golden and silver serpents were far stronger than their offspring.

"Hmph, aren't you a little freak yourself?" The golden serpent looked at Bebe, its jade-green eyes full of coldness.

"The one who killed our daughter was him, right?" The silver nine-headed serpent looked at Bebe.

"Yes," the golden serpent replied.

"Then I'll take this little thing," the silver nine-headed serpent said hoarsely.

The golden serpent's massive head turned slightly toward Linley. "Fine, then I'll take this kid from the Four Divine Beasts clan. Hmph... even when his ancestor, the Azure Dragon, was alive, he wouldn't have dared to act like this on Netherworld Mountain. And now this descendant dares to kill our child!"

"Don't bring that up," the silver nine-headed serpent said coldly.

Linley and Bebe exchanged a glance.

With Linley at the center, a brownish-yellow light shield instantly expanded, spreading nearly a kilometer in radius, directly enveloping the golden serpent and the silver nine-headed serpent. The two great serpents suddenly encountered a powerful gravitational force, causing their bodies to lean back slightly, but they quickly adapted.

"Such strong gravity!" The golden serpent looked at Linley. "You're connected to the Hell's Violet Lord... but even so, we will still kill you!"

"Kill us just because you say so? Do you have the ability?" Bebe snorted coldly.

Suddenly—

The golden serpent opened its mouth. A dense, jade-green light flew out from its maw, directly enveloping Linley. This jade-green light was unaffected within the Blackstone Space. Linley couldn't dodge in time and was completely engulfed by the light, which instantly merged into his body.

Inside Linley's mind.

The jade-green light turned into countless jade-green specks, frantically eroding, colliding, and biting at Linley's soul defense Sovereign artifact. It was like a siege; a large number of jade-green specks dissipated, but many others furiously attacked the patched weak spot.

Linley had spent over two hundred years repairing that spot, making it extremely tough.

Even if it couldn't compare to other parts of the soul defense Sovereign artifact, it could still match an ordinary soul defense artifact.

"Sizzle..."

"Not good." Linley sensed danger.

He immediately controlled his soul force to help defend. In the frantic moment when the jade-green specks and the patched weak spot clashed, "Pfft!" The patch was completely dissolved. Only a trace of the jade-green specks remained. Under the frenzied assault of Linley's soul force, they were finally consumed.

Linley had defended himself.

But... the results of over two hundred years of repairing the soul defense Sovereign artifact were lost in a single move.

At the same time—

The silver nine-headed serpent also unleashed its ultimate move. The massive silver serpent's nine heads all stared at Bebe with their black eyes, and a huge phantom began to appear on its body surface. The silver nine-headed serpent had activated its innate divine ability—

"Swish!" "Swish!" ...

The nine pairs of eyes of the silver nine-headed serpent shot out eighteen beams of pitch-black light, all aimed at Bebe. Bebe tried to dodge, but the black light nimbly turned and sank into Bebe's eyes.

"Ah!" Bebe let out a cry of pain.

Linley had just finished defending himself when he turned and saw this. He was shocked: "Bebe!"

"Not dead?" The golden serpent was stunned to see Linley survive his attack.

He knew very well the power of that move... even those with ordinary soul defense artifacts couldn't withstand it.

"Haha, is that all you've got?" Bebe suddenly burst out laughing, glaring at the silver nine-headed serpent.

Linley felt a wave of relief.

"Impossible," the silver nine-headed serpent said in disbelief. "His body is so strong, how can his soul be this strong too?" Heaven was fair. Bebe's body was so tough that even the silver nine-headed serpent was jealous. With such a strong body, his soul should logically be weaker.

But...

Bebe had actually withstood her innate divine ability!

"I don't want to kill you. Don't push it," Linley shouted. He had come to ask the Sovereign for help, and he sensed that these two great serpents were connected to the Sovereign. He didn't want to kill them.

"Roar!" The golden serpent showed no gratitude. It suddenly roared, its body springing forward like a bolt, opening its fangs to swallow Linley.

"So fast!" Linley was secretly alarmed.

But Linley dared not let this golden serpent bite him.

"Boss, make a move," Bebe transmitted.

"Hmph." Linley looked coldly at the approaching golden serpent.

Almost simultaneously, phantoms appeared behind Linley and Bebe. Behind Linley was the winding phantom of an Azure Dragon, its eyes coldly fixed on the golden serpent. Behind Bebe floated the massive phantom of a God-Eating Rat, also staring at the silver nine-headed serpent.

Innate Divine Ability—Dragon's Roar!

Innate Divine Ability—God Devouring!

"Boom!" Suddenly, the ground split open, and a large number of thick, root-covered tree roots burst forth, directly blocking Linley and Bebe. The energy from their innate divine abilities was absorbed by these roots. More precisely, it was all channeled into the roots.

Linley and Bebe were stunned.

The massive roots, having withstood the attacks of two innate divine abilities, showed no effect. "How is that possible?" Bebe didn't believe it. Suddenly, one of the roots rebounded, whipping toward Bebe. Even within the 'Blackstone Space,' the root's speed was so fast that Bebe couldn't dodge.

"Slap!" Bebe was sent flying.

Red blood splattered through the air.

"Thud." Bebe hit the ground. He looked at his chest, where a deep wound, down to the bone, was bleeding. Bebe stared at the wound, momentarily dumbfounded.

Linley couldn't believe it either.

Bebe was injured?

His body, comparable to a divine artifact, was actually injured?

"Bebe." Linley immediately moved to Bebe's side. Bebe's wound naturally healed quickly, but he still stared in disbelief at the tree roots before him. These roots were clearly from the Netherworld Fruit Tree.

"Enough. Killing their daughter is one thing, but there's no need to go further," a deep voice came from the Netherworld Fruit Tree.

A massive face began to form on the trunk of the Netherworld Fruit Tree, looking at Linley and Bebe.

"This is?"

Linley and Bebe both felt this powerful aura.

"Sovereign!" The golden serpent and silver nine-headed serpent immediately looked at the Netherworld Fruit Tree. "He killed our daughter! You can't let him off!"

"Sovereign?"

Linley and Bebe stared blankly at the Netherworld Fruit Tree before them.
