Chapter 24: The Black-Clad Guards

Crompton knew he was weak. “Got it.”
After responding, Crompton stomped the ground. The Black-Clad Guard fighting the demon couldn’t help but pause, feeling a strange force affecting him, as if his body had suddenly become ten thousand times heavier.
“It’s the Earth’s Core Magnetic Force!” the Black-Clad Guard realized instantly.

At this shout, both Crompton and Opper, who was in the middle of the fight, changed expression.
“Finish this quickly!” Opper hadn’t wanted to go all out, but now he had no choice. Opper roared in fury, his entire body twisting as he transformed into a bolt of cyan-black lightning. The lightning mercilessly struck towards the Black-Clad Guard.
“Die!” Opper’s roar echoed through the room.
The Black-Clad Guard’s face changed drastically, but he also grinned ferociously, swinging his blade in a black arc, slanting upwards towards the lightning.
