Chapter 1187: The Goddess Tai Su (First Update)

"The Tai Su vein should be the one belonging to the Nu Xin clan, the territory of Heavenly Venerate Gong."
Qin Mu mused, taking out the Tai Su divine stone that Heavenly Venerate Gong had given him and turning it over in his hands.

This divine stone was a cube, yet it was constantly shifting and changing, with no clear distinction between inside and outside, the boundary between the two becoming blurred.

When he first entered the Ancestral Court, he had taken out the Glazed Azure Sky Canopy and planted it on the Void Beast's head, and the first place the Void Beast had gone was the Tai Su vein.

That is to say, this divine stone should be called a Tai Su divine stone, and the divine egg within the Glazed Azure Sky Canopy should be called the Tai Su divine egg.

The purpose of the Tai Su divine egg was the Tai Su vein; only by obtaining the divine stones and rough stones from the vein could she refine the egg fluid and successfully emerge into the world.

"Heavenly Venerate Gong promised to give me a tenth of the Tai Su divine stones. I originally agreed to explore the mysteries of the Tai Su divine stone for her, but now that I've drunk a mouthful of the egg fluid, I'm afraid I won't be able to study its functions."

He gripped the divine stone and tried to absorb the power within it. Unexpectedly, the stone, as if it had no substance at all, burrowed into his hand and quickly traveled up his arm to his abdomen!

Qin Mu was startled. Inside his abdominal organs, the egg fluid was still undergoing myriad transformations, but when the Tai Su divine stone arrived there, a wondrous scene unfolded.

The egg fluid changed in countless ways, and the Tai Su divine stone also shifted, mirroring the egg fluid.

With each transformation of the two, Qin Mu felt a profound and mysterious resonance of the Dao rise from the depths of his heart. A surge of pure power flowed through him, reaching every part of his limbs, bones, divine repositories, and celestial palaces.

Not only that, but his primordial spirit also began to shift between the real and the illusory, sometimes solidifying into substance, sometimes becoming ethereal.

The Tai Su divine stone slowly shrank, and the egg fluid also diminished. Gradually, Qin Mu gained a glimmer of understanding of the Dao of Tai Su.

Tai Su is the beginning of substance, the process of energy transforming into matter, moving from the formless to the substantial.

Because energy turns into tangible matter, it can respond to any request. Since people prayed to the Tai Su divine egg for material changes, the egg could grant their wishes!

This was different from the Dao of Tai Shi.

Qin Mu had studied the Tai Shi egg and the Dao of Tai Shi, achieving considerable mastery. The Dao of Tai Shi was the transformation of energy into form without substance, lacking materiality, which allowed it to counter Ling Tianzun's principle of material immutability.

"The Dao of Tai Chu should be the Primordial One Qi—pure energy without matter. The Primordial One Qi is the overarching principle of all primordial great Daos. Therefore, upon emerging, Tai Chu naturally became the leader of all ancient gods and the Heavenly Emperor of the ancient gods. However, he was corrupted by the Grand Emperor and never reached his perfect form."

Qin Mu pondered for a moment. "The Dao of Tai Ji is the principle of yin and yang transforming into all things. Thus, in the Tai Ji vein, living beings and matter undergo all kinds of changes: plants can become giant beasts, people can turn into mountains and rocks, with no fixed form or constant state—profound and wondrous beyond measure."

"Among the ancient gods of these four veins, in principle, there should be no distinction of high or low. Once mature and emerged, they would be the foremost of all Daos and the supreme of all gods. Tai Yi, however, is a step above."

"Tai Yi has no form, no state, no substance, no energy. He can transform into anything, appear in any era of history, or become anyone. He was also the first ancient vein god to emerge perfectly, and his realm is already beyond comprehension."

The Tai Su divine stone was completely consumed, yet only a tenth of the egg fluid in Qin Mu's abdomen had been used, causing him to frown.

"In that case, before leaving the Ancestral Court, I'll first go to Heavenly Venerate Gong's vein and collect my tenth share of the Tai Su divine stones."

He changed direction and headed toward the Tai Su vein.

Among the Ten Thousand Black Mountains, the woman Tai Yi, along with Dragon Qilin and Yan'er, finished repairing the cracked mountain and picked up their buckets to leave. Suddenly, the woman Tai Yi stopped and said with a smile, "Greetings, fellow Daoist Tai Su."

As she spoke, a tall, aloof woman with an icy expression emerged from the shadow of the black mountain. Behind her, a radiance like dark brows shifted between reality and illusion, elusive and unfathomable.

However, her great Dao radiance was incomplete, with large gaps here and missing sections there.

The goddess frowned slightly and asked, "Am I called Tai Su?"

"In the future, people will call you that."

The woman Tai Yi smiled. "I have taken on a female form specifically to meet you. As fellow women, conversation might be easier."

Goddess Tai Su showed no interest in this and said, "You are thoughtful, fellow Daoist. Fellow Daoist, this Heavenly Venerate Mu is committing all sorts of evil. Why do you tolerate him? Look at what he has done—how tyrannical! He destroyed my divine egg, ruined my cultivation, and stole my primordial fluid. This enmity is irreconcilable! We share the same origin; you should be helping me!"

The woman Tai Yi laughed. "Fellow Daoist, we are both primordial sacred beings. We ourselves are the Dao. To harbor worldly desires is to lower our cultivation. Why quibble with him over such matters?"

Tai Su shook her head. "You have already attained the Dao! That's why you can be so magnanimous and detached. But my opportunity to attain the Dao has been shattered. I will never tolerate him! We sacred beings are born to be the masters of heaven and earth, the rulers of the universe. Look at fellow Daoist Tai Chu—how glorious he was! How vast his divine powers! If one has ambition, one must act on it. If one has hatred, one must wash it away with blood. Otherwise, what use is all this power?"

The woman Tai Yi frowned. "To be too deeply involved in the mundane world is to stray far from the Dao. Fellow Daoist Tai Su, your mortal heart is too heavy. It will likely be a great obstacle for you."

Tai Su sneered. "Fellow Daoist, your skills and divine powers are beyond my reach, but do not try to stop me. This vengeance I must exact!"

The woman Tai Yi tried to persuade her. "You conspired with Tai Shi to seize the world, rule over all realms, and eliminate dissidents. Because of this cause, you now reap this effect. Why continue down the wrong path?"

Tai Su's expression shifted, and she said angrily, "The place where Tai Shi and I discussed our plans was within that brat's eyes. Even he didn't know, yet you did—truly unfathomable in your divine powers. But since you knew of this, you must also know that I was forced to emerge prematurely due to disaster. Why didn't you stop him earlier? Fellow Daoist, you are too biased!"

She laughed in fury, flicked her sleeve, and said, "Today, I will kill everyone in these black mountains to vent my hatred first. Then I will return to my vein and slaughter everyone there! Will you try to stop me?"

The woman Tai Yi set down her small iron bucket, eyes lowered in contemplation. "Beside the Cosmic Tree, I cannot allow you to run amok. I can see all past and future, but here alone, I cannot. This place is the root of catastrophe. If you dare to act recklessly and damage this place, I will have no choice but to stop you."

Tai Su's eyes flashed with murderous intent. Just as she was about to strike, the woman Tai Yi flicked her finger. Tai Su felt the world spin and was sent flying out of the Ten Thousand Black Mountains, landing who knows where.

The woman Tai Yi sighed, picked up her bucket, and walked away. "Too much attachment makes it hard to attain the Dao. Fellow Daoists are hard to find, yet I alone cannot withstand this..."

Tai Su fell, her head spinning. After a moment, she recovered, burning with rage. "A biased wretch indeed! Fine, I'll reclaim my vein first, then kill that brat to avenge myself!"

With murderous intent, she rushed straight toward the Nu Xin clan's vein. When she reached Heavenly Venerate Gong's territory and looked into the distance, her expression changed. A divine weapon hung suspended above the Tai Su vein, suppressing everything!

The weapon was shaped like a cone, constantly shifting and splitting, then merging again. It stood upright, its tip pointing downward, radiating terrifying power!

"In my current state, I can't break in. That treasure is formidable. If I force my way in, I'll only suffer harm."

Tai Su hesitated for a moment, then turned and left. "In that case, I'll go find that fellow Daoist in the Tai Ji vein. He directed that brat to the roots of the Cosmic Tree, intending to harm him. He'll surely be of one mind with me!"
