Chapter 17: The Spirit Embryo Breaks Through
Xian Qing'er's face suddenly changed, becoming incredibly twisted and ugly in an instant. This little girl's body began to swell, and hissing sounds came from her lower body as one bony, knobby leg after another tore through her skirt, stabbing into the ground with a clang. The monster brandished its claws and fangs, but it could never take a single step beyond the temple threshold.
