# Chapter 1: Greedy Life Tree
Category: Secondary · Original Sin Object.
Causal Characteristic: After acquisition, your causality will be connected to this life tree. If you cannot suppress this life tree, it will use its causal connection with you to continuously devour your existing equipment, rare resources, etc., until you are completely impoverished. At that point, this life tree will sever its causal connection with you and abandon you.
Warning: Although the Greedy Life Tree has no strong offensive capability, it possesses extremely strong defensive characteristics, and can take and devour valuable assets you carry or store without your consent.
Negative Risk: This is a towering life tree of the Void, originally surrounded by elemental power. However, due to the increasingly severe Abyss invasion of the Void, this life tree was the first to be eroded by Abyss Force. While its size has shrunk significantly and it has retained some of its original characteristics, it has become greedy. Due to its essential "Existence Characteristic," it will never be able to become a true Original Sin Object.
Characteristic: If you successfully suppress this life tree, you can have it devour equipment and rare resources to quickly bear "Life Fruits."
Hint: This is the only unchanged characteristic of the Greedy Life Tree. Due to the Abyss's enhancement, the "Life Fruits" it bears are even purer and of higher quality than those of a normal life tree.
Life Fruit: After consumption, permanently increases Health Points by 35,000 (Due to the extremely high rank characteristic of this Life Fruit, even repeated consumption will still provide enhancement effects).
Hint: Because this Greedy Life Tree is not a true Original Sin Object, sealing/suppressing this existence will not grant any enhancement to the "Original Sin Sealer" authority.
