After reviewing the information on the achievement mission [Sin Judgment], Su Xiao nodded. Although he didn't know what the reward for [Sin Judgment] was, this achievement mission aligned with his goal—weakening the Homunculus in the Flask's forces.
Su Xiao cleaned up the battle scene, mainly removing his own bloodstains. The Homunculi might track him down through these bloodstains.
Su Xiao mounted Bubu Wang. Bubu Wang looked troubled—it was time to start traveling again.
Three hours later, Su Xiao returned to Risenbur Town. It had already been reduced to charcoal. Although eight hours had passed, the fires caused by the explosion still hadn't been extinguished.
No one was around the town. The explosion's flames had devoured the entire town.
Su Xiao lingered at the town's edge for about two hours before finally spotting the person he was waiting for.
A troop of about three hundred soldiers rushed to the town's vicinity. This was the cleanup squad arranged in advance.
"Blazing Flame Alchemist, you've worked hard. We'll handle the rest from here."
The squad leader looked at Su Xiao with lingering fear, seemingly horrified by Su Xiao's act of blowing up the entire town.
"The mastermind behind the rebellion was the Ishbalans. Some of them escaped during the explosion, but I've already dealt with them. Do you need the bodies recovered?"
Su Xiao looked at the squad leader. He had already prepared over a dozen corpses, and they were indeed Ishbalans.
"No need. As long as we know who the mastermind is, that's enough. You've worked hard."
With that, the squad leader led his men into the town. Su Xiao walked on foot toward a nearby town, planning to take a train back to Central City.
His operation this time was: investigate the town, set up bombs, detonate the explosives, pursue the fleeing Ishbalans, sustain minor injuries after fighting the Ishbalans, then return to the town.
The entire process took 9 hours and 12 minutes—no flaws whatsoever.
As long as someone had normal reasoning, they wouldn't connect the deaths of the two Homunculi in Leore City to Su Xiao.
Leore City and Risenbur Town were very far apart. If not for Bubu Teni's running speed, Su Xiao couldn't have made the round trip in just over nine hours.
Moreover, he had an alibi during those nine-plus hours. Even if the Homunculi in Central City investigated him, it wouldn't matter.
Sitting on the train back to Central City, Su Xiao began considering the order for killing the Homunculi.
Lust and Gluttony had already been dealt with. Five Homunculi remained.
The subsequent order was: Greed·Greed, Envy·Envy, Sloth·Sloth, Pride·Pride, Wrath·Wrath.
Su Xiao arranged the kill order for the Homunculi. This wasn't a mission requirement, but rather based on how important these Homunculi were to the Homunculus in the Flask.
Among them, Greed was the easiest to handle. That guy had already been away for years. Even if he died, it wouldn't attract anyone's attention.
The train slowly moved forward, occasionally stopping midway.
"Passengers, we will soon arrive at Dabliss Town."
An announcement came over the speakers. Su Xiao, who was drowsy from blood loss, perked up a bit.
"Dabliss Town?"
Su Xiao suddenly felt that this town's name was familiar, but he couldn't recall the specifics of this town for a moment.
"Dabliss, Dabliss… where is this exactly?"
He quickly searched his memory for the place name Dabliss. Suddenly, a flash of inspiration struck him—he remembered where Dabliss Town was.
"Passing through here… it seems this is fate."
Su Xiao pushed Bubu Wang, who was sleeping on the seat beside him. This fool was drooling in his sleep.
"Wake up. We're getting off soon."
"Woo~."
Bubu Wang whimpered but showed no sign of getting up.
Su Xiao took out a meat bone and placed it in front of Bubu Wang's nose. In his sleep, Bubu Wang's nostrils twitched, and his head involuntarily moved forward.
Tempted by food, Bubu Wang woke up, though still groggy. His gaze seemed to say: 'Who am I, where am I, I want to eat.'
Su Xiao stepped off the train. He had taken note of this town when watching 'Fullmetal Alchemist.'
If he remembered correctly, Dabliss Town was where the protagonist's master lived.
If his timing wasn't wrong, Greed·Greed would appear here in at most two days.
After Su Xiao got off the train, commotion soon erupted from the train.
"What's going on? It's already past departure time."
"Yeah, I have urgent business back in Central City."
The conductor was sweating profusely. The train had broken down for unknown reasons and could no longer carry passengers.
"Dear passengers, please listen. The train has encountered some issues. Please take the next train."
Arguments echoed from the station. Su Xiao ignored the commotion—he was the one who had broken the train.
If he followed the normal procedure, he would have to return to Central City. Although he had been released from prison, that didn't mean he had gained freedom.
Before completely falling out with the Homunculi, Su Xiao couldn't let his whereabouts stray too far from Central City.
Arriving at a phone booth, Su Xiao spoke the code words, connected to the military line, and dialed Envy·Envy's number.
"Hello, who is this?"
Envy's tone was always provocative, the emotion of envy filling his mind.
"I'm Blazing Flame."
"Oh, it's Blazing Flame. I heard about what happened over there. You actually blew up the entire town. Pretty ruthless, haha."
"I can't return to Central City for now."
Su Xiao thought to himself whether he should deal with Envy sooner. This guy was essentially his monitor.
"Can't come back? What, planning to run off on your own?"
Envy's tone carried some dissatisfaction.
"The train broke down, and I'm injured. I plan to recuperate in Dabliss Town."
"Is that so? Fine, come back 'as soon as possible.' If you're not back within three days, heh~."
Envy hung up the phone.
After Envy hung up, Su Xiao's eyes flickered. The thought of dealing with Envy sooner grew stronger.
"After dealing with Greed, you're next."
Su Xiao left the public phone booth. He planned to find a couple—specifically, the protagonist's master.
Su Xiao didn't intend to interact with the protagonist's master. If he were to divide factions, the protagonist's master belonged to 'Lawful Good,' while Su Xiao would be classified under 'Chaotic Neutral' or 'Lawful Evil.'
The two sides naturally didn't see eye to eye. The possibility of cooperation was slim.
Except for a very few protagonists, Su Xiao and most protagonists were the type that disliked each other.
The protagonist's master was a powerful female alchemist with some local fame.
After some inquiries, Su Xiao learned the address of the protagonist's master, Izumi Curtis. The couple ran a butcher shop.
Su Xiao looked at Bubu Wang beside him.
"Bubu, it's time to show off your charm."
