Beneath the office, the harsh lights illuminated the newly constructed containment vault. The walls of the vault were made from a mixture of metal and a certain resin, giving the overall appearance of walls formed from layers of hair-thin iron wires, with a semi-transparent resin cast within them.
This was the branch of the Bitter Salt Tree, a tree that only grew in the volcanic polar regions north of the continent. The reason its resin was chosen as the insulating layer was because of the molten salt it contained.

This was the highest temperature known to be artificially achievable. Unfortunately, due to the nature of molten salt, it was extremely difficult to extract it from the resin of the Bitter Salt Tree.
Su Xiao sat on an iron chair inside the containment vault. The area was over three hundred square meters, and at the center stood two glass pillars nearly three meters thick. One pillar contained clear blue seawater, while the other held a faintly green, potent acid solution.
