# Chapter 2: Sharing a Cage with Quake, a Mad Dog Starved for a Day
Apart from these two methods, there were no other punishment measures, but the cursed people were very well-behaved.
"Winnie, among the islands in the West Sea region, which one is the most prosperous? The most suitable for resupply?"
Su Xiao pushed the sea chart in front of Winnie. Upon hearing Su Xiao's words, Winnie's face lit up with joy.
"You're finally ready to rest. As for the West Sea region, I recommend 'Batu Island.' It's a pirate island, but that's fine. Batu Island is one of the six most beautiful islands on the Demon Sea. There's lots of great food there. I stayed there for half a month and really didn't want to leave. But..."
Winnie thought of something and continued, "Aren't we enemies with the West Sea King? Didn't we just fight last time?"
"We've reconciled. Tell me about the situation on Batu Island."
"Is that so?"
Winnie was somewhat skeptical but began describing Batu Island.
After a brief understanding, Su Xiao confirmed one thing: if he blew up the trade port on 'Batu Island' and the warehouses at the port, the West Sea King's losses would be extremely severe.
Just in terms of valuables alone, it would be at least 100,000 Demon Sea gold coins in losses, not counting the damaged buildings and ships.
The door to the captain's cabin closed, and the Doom Number submerged into the seawater, heading straight for 'Batu Island.'
Three hours later, the sun blazed high in the sky. Baha circled overhead, and below him at an angle was 'Batu Island.'
Batu Island was large. The buildings at the port were arranged in an orderly fashion. A sculpture dozens of meters tall stood at the port, depicting the West Sea King. The West Sea King, with a face full of thick beard, pointed one hand forward toward the endless sea.
At the port, numerous pirates, laborers, merchants, and others gathered. Horse-drawn carts pulled cargo boxes toward the docks. Hundreds of ships were docked here, many of them large cargo vessels, with pirate ships nearby providing escort.
In the market at the port, a long row of iron cages was lined up side by side. The cages were all empty, and in front stood slaves one by one—men, women, old, and young alike. Some slave traders, to fetch higher prices, made female slaves stand naked. Gold, gems, beautiful scenery, desire, lust, food, trade imports and exports—all of this contributed to Batu Island's prosperity.
The flow of people in the market was endless. More than 70% of them were pirates looking to make a quick fortune or dispose of dirty goods, or so-called navigators.
On the sea surface two nautical miles from Batu Island, large bubbles rose. The seawater began to surge upward, and the Doom Number burst out from the sea.
With a crash, crystalline water splashed everywhere. Seawater poured out from both sides of the hull and from the bow cannon.
The door to the captain's cabin was pushed open. Winnie, who could no longer contain herself, ran to the ship's railing and looked at Batu Island in the distance. There were 50 Demon Sea coins in her money pouch now, making her a little rich woman. She was going to Batu Island to spend.
Soft, smooth, and bouncy pudding, rich and juicy meat steaks, garlic-scented sausages—thinking of these things, Winnie's saliva secretion accelerated.
"Captain, shouldn't we keep a low profile? The reputation of the Doom Number..."
Before Winnie could finish her sentence, she heard a loud boom. The wind pressure came from the side of her face, her blonde hair flying. The sound waves from the Annihilation Heavy Cannon made her eardrums buzz.
"I knew it would be like this."
Winnie looked at the burning dock ahead. Her day trip to Batu Island was ruined. Come to enjoy Batu Island's food and then resupply? No, the Doom Number had come to attack the island.
