Chapter 2: Black Curse Crows
Every time a Black Curse Crow attacks an enemy, the enemy is eroded by curse power. When the 'Curse Value' reaches 100%, the enemy will undergo an instant death judgment.
The accumulation speed of the Curse Value depends on the enemy's physical strength. If they are strong enough, they can hold out for a long time.
If it were normal Black Curse Crows, they indeed wouldn't have much capability. After all, they are not the main combat force. But now, they have received a boost of +20 to all true attributes, a 45% increase in maximum health, and +30 points to physical defense.
This makes the Black Curse Crows a formidable fighting force as well. Moreover, their numbers are vast, covering the sky and blotting out the sun.
Once all the bonuses from War Lord are triggered, the Black Curse Crows can inflict 120 points of true damage with each attack. Coupled with the erosion of curse power, the combat strength of the Black Curse Crows will be elevated to a terrifying degree.
Returning to the Doom Number, Su Xiao went straight to the captain's quarters and lay down on the bed, preparing to sleep.

After sleeping for an unknown amount of time, Su Xiao sat up from the bed and checked the time. It was afternoon in the outside world. Time to move.
Su Xiao took stock of his current combat forces: 400 Cursed People, 85,000 Black Curse Crows, and 12 Sea Soul Stones—enough to allow the Cursed People to fight on land for about 12 hours.
Not only that, due to the characteristics of the Black Curse Crows, they had been classified as 'Soldier-type Units,' successfully triggering the War Lord's bonuses. The bonuses were: +70 morale, +20 to all true attributes, a 45% increase in maximum health, and +30 points to physical defense.
Under these bonuses, the Cursed People had already become quite strong. When the number of Black Curse Crows reached 100,000, they would trigger the bonus of raising all ability levels by Lv.10.
To embed the third Curse Stone, it would take at least 2 to 3 days; otherwise, Su Xiao would find it difficult to control the spread of the Demon Sea Curse. He decided not to wait any longer. Around the Doom Number, streaks of black shadows burst through the water's surface, heading straight toward Sinking Ship Island.
With a crash, the Doom Number surged back onto the sea surface, seawater draining from both sides of the hull. Su Xiao stood atop the captain's quarters, his left hand—wearing the Black King Bracer—gripping empty air. A black light sphere appeared in his hand. As he grasped it, a surge of energy spread along the lines on his left arm.
A black mist vortex appeared behind Su Xiao, and Black Curse Crows poured out from it, flying past him on both sides.
Like a black cloud gathering in the sky, nearly 100,000 Black Curse Crows flew above Sinking Ship Island. The pirates on the docks looked up at this scene, their expressions stunned.
Caw, caw, caw!
The sky was filled with Black Curse Crows circling above Sinking Ship Island, blocking out the sun and casting the entire island into shadow. The scene was utterly spectacular.
The Doom Number had come to claim lives.
