Chapter 56: Big Axe Brother
Pain Dungeon, entrance.
Su Xiao stood before the stone steps, having already realized that he had been exploring the Pain Dungeon in reverse. This was the actual entrance, while his entry point had been the innermost part of the dungeon.

The upward steps were not long, and a doorway appeared ahead. Shenfu stood behind the wall beside the doorway, peering inside.

The four walls of this room were covered in grooves, each groove thirty centimeters wide and half a meter deep, as if a tornado had once swept through the room, leaving these marks on the walls.
A small giant, over four meters tall and clad in full-body armor, sat in the center of the room. His armor was bulky, with a circular ring at the center of his chest.
The ring at the center of a Sun Warrior's chest was golden-red, but the ring on this fully armored small giant's chest was black-red.
Beside this small giant stood a long-handled double-bladed axe. This weapon was a full five meters long, with an axe head the size of a round table and a thickness of over thirty centimeters. One could imagine the feeling of being struck by this thing.
This small giant—no, this Big Axe Brother—was sleeping with his head drooped, and a muffled snore came from beneath his palm-thick helmet.

A mournful wind sound spread. Big Axe Brother accelerated his spin, and the surroundings felt like an earthquake. Inside the room where Big Axe Brother was, it was as if a tornado had started.
Su Xiao leaned against the wall beside the doorway. The wall behind him vibrated incessantly. This blocking enemy was far stronger than a single Sun Warrior; this should be a mini-boss level enemy of the Holy Land.
The rumbling behind him lasted for several minutes before stopping. When everything quieted down, Su Xiao looked into the doorway.
Big Axe Brother stood still. His giant axe crashed to the ground with a clang, and he staggered a few steps to the side, seemingly dizzy from spinning, before sitting down with a thud.
Seeing this, Baha's smile turned mischievous. He took an alchemy bomb from the team storage space, activated it, and tossed it into the room.

Flames surged. Big Axe Brother picked up the long-handled giant axe again and started spinning in place once more, causing another few minutes of earth-shaking chaos.
When Big Axe Brother stopped, he dropped to one knee with a thud.

Big Axe Brother's original oppressive aura vanished in an instant. He had spun himself sick.
Su Xiao frowned. He had faced many enemies—some weak against slashing attacks, some weak against fire, some weak against ice—but this current enemy was weak against... stupidity.
Baha had found amusement and began tossing alchemy bombs into the room one by one. Big Axe Brother's thinking was extremely simple: as long as there was a sound or an object approaching him, he would immediately spin his axe in place, very straightforwardly.

After Big Axe Brother had spun around a full fifty-two times, he fell backward with a thud and lay still.
Almost simultaneously, Su Xiao suddenly appeared beside Big Axe Brother. His Dragon-Slaying Flash stabbed downward, the long blade entering through the eye socket of the helmet and deeply penetrating Big Axe Brother's skull.
This blade pierced straight through Big Axe Brother's head. Against this powerful enemy, the Holy Spirit-ranked Dragon-Slaying Flash, while not as effortless as against seventh-rank foes, could still pierce vital points with sufficient sharpness.
The bloodstained blade tip sank into the stone layer of the floor. Su Xiao gripped the handle with both hands, ready to press down, when a tremendous force came.
Big Axe Brother sat up with a whoosh, indicating that Su Xiao's strength attribute was more than ten points lower than the enemy's.
Su Xiao withdrew his blade and leaped back. A large hand wrapped in metal armor swept past his face, the wind pressure stinging his cheeks.
Just as Su Xiao retreated, Shenfu was already behind Big Axe Brother, pressing both hands against Big Axe Brother's head. Hair-thin black tentacles drilled into the gaps between the armor at Big Axe Brother's head and neck.
Big Axe Brother's body shuddered. His two large hands reached back, and Shenfu's eyes showed surprise—this giant monster could still move.
With a bang, Big Axe Brother's hands slapped against the back of his own head, or rather, he used his hands to press Shenfu against the back of his head.
A cluster of black tentacles protected Shenfu inside, and he was locked in a stalemate with Big Axe Brother. Originally, Shenfu had wanted to snatch the kill reward.
