Chapter 51: Return
Roars came from all directions. The monsters within Doom Town were putting up their final struggle. After losing the Archbishop and the Resentful Orphan to stabilize the Ancient God's power, the Ancient God's power began to slowly dissipate. Complete dissipation might take decades, even centuries, which had nothing to do with Su Xiao.
The territory of the Serpent Sisters was on the east side of Doom Town. The air there was heavy with moisture, and monsters within Doom Town were rare there.
Su Xiao's pace was not fast. After traveling for over half an hour, he finally reached the east side of Doom Town. The buildings here were covered in black moss, which was saturated with water. Pressing on it would cause water droplets to seep out.
Compared to the territories of Resentment and Qis, the east side of Doom Town was eerily gloomy. This made Bubu Wang nervous, and he kept hiding behind Su Xiao. Although he was scared to death, he couldn't help looking around, just like how he was afraid of ghosts but still couldn't resist his curiosity, often watching horror movies that Beini played, only to be scared into doubting his dog life.

Walking on the damp street, Su Xiao tried to sense the surroundings. After a moment, he opened his eyes. Before the Ancient God's power completely dissipated, large-scale perception was impossible.
"Amu, Baha, you're responsible for the left area. Bubu, you're responsible for the right."
As Su Xiao spoke, he took a metal tube from his storage space. After pulling it open, hundreds of mechanical bees flew out and scattered in all directions.
The worst-case scenario had appeared. Su Xiao wasn't worried about how strong the Serpent Sisters were; his biggest concern was that the Serpent Sisters would hide.
Su Xiao took out a tablet computer. The screen was divided into hundreds of grids, each showing the feedback from a mechanical bee.
Meanwhile, somewhere on the east side of Doom Town, it was pitch black. There was a dripping sound of water, and a faint light shone down from above.

The younger of the Serpent Sisters' eyes widened. She couldn't imagine what kind of terrifying humans would dare to hunt gods. It sounded absurd.
A green light floated over. Seeing this green light, the Serpent Sisters' pupils contracted, and they turned to flee.

A loud crash came from above, and large pieces of rubble fell. Su Xiao landed in a very shallow underground river. He crouched down, dipped his finger in the water, and a blue light surged in his eyes.
There was Ancient God's power in the water, with a dark and gloomy characteristic, or rather, it was gloom.

Inside a large hall with cracked walls, the Serpent Sisters were hiding in the innermost part, surrounded by hundreds of mechanical bees.

The sound of footsteps on weathered stone came. Under the nervous gaze of the Serpent Sisters, a man with a long sword at his waist walked over.
"You found us after all."
The elder of the Serpent Sisters spoke, her gaze fierce, perfectly embodying the phrase "blustering bravado."
"You... ran your ass off!"
Baha was furious. After nearly a whole morning of 'hide and seek,' they had finally caught them.
"It's not like we wanted to run if you weren't trying to kill us!"
The younger Serpent Sister was extremely aggrieved. She and her sister were resting at home when disaster struck from the sky. The Serpent Sisters were not separate individuals. They had a snake body over ten meters long, and above that, two human upper bodies. The one on the left was the younger sister, and the one on the right was the elder sister.

The Serpent Sisters didn't hesitate at all and tossed the earring out. Compared to their lives, the Temple Secret Pattern meant nothing.
"Boss, although killing these two has its risks, we should at least give them a beating."
Baha said this because the Serpent Sisters were the last survivors in Doom Town. Killing them might cause two different changes in Doom Town.
