Chapter 21: Racial Wrath

The war had developed into something bizarre by now, shifting from its original racial hatred into a personal vendetta. Dika could still survive for fifteen more years; after that, the Kala Star people would lose their king, and internal strife was certain to follow.

This situation had occurred once before on Kala Star. At that time, the Kala Star people still had a planet they could stably inhabit. After decades of turmoil, they barely stabilized when a new king was born.

Now, humanity watched with covetous eyes, and Reincarnation Paradise was also vying for this derivative world.

Dika had already understood: the Kala Star people were doomed. Even if they could destroy those coordinates, the Human Alliance would drive them off Earth.

Fifteen years was too short a time. The Kala Star people wandering in the sky could not be without a leader, or they would surely perish.

With extinction looming either way, Dika chose to transform racial hatred into personal hatred. It would kill that human serving as an Arbiter. That human still carried faint spiritual fluctuations from its offspring, Tuka. Though these fluctuations were about to dissipate, Dika could sense them—that human had killed its child.

Dika let out a great roar and pointed at the ice layer below. The spacecraft behind it rumbled.

Hum...

A cannon barrel extended from the ship. This jagged, uneven giant cannon aimed at the ice surface, and strange cries of countless creatures emanated from within its muzzle.

Boom.

A black-red sphere shot out from the cannon. The sphere constantly shifted shape during its flight, appearing weak in power.

Splat.

Like a glob of snot smacking the ground, the black-red sphere spread flat across the ice. Upon closer inspection, it was a swarm of rice-grain-sized creatures resembling ants.

This was a weapon the Kala Star people used to breach enemy defenses. These ant-like beings could gnaw through most substances, whether rare metals or energy shields.

A rapid gnawing sound arose as the ant-like creatures began devouring the ice layer. Minutes later, a crater several dozen meters wide appeared, with seawater slowly rising inside.

Dika watched coldly. Its enemy was deep in the sea, and it would pay any price to reach there. Countless Kala Star people surrounded the ice hole.

Dika's figure flickered, and a spatial fluctuation appeared. It directly teleported above the ice hole. This Kala Star person could teleport.

"Die Ta! (Unknown Language)"

Dika roared loudly, pointing at the seawater below the ice hole. The meaning was clear: order the ordinary Kala Star people to jump down.

Fear filled the eyes of all the Kala Star people. The seawater below was too cold; if they jumped, they would freeze to death quickly.

A strange wave spread from Dika's body. The ordinary Kala Star people's bodies tensed, and their lizard-like vertical pupils began to dilate.

Plop, plop...

All the Kala Star people scrambled to jump into the ice hole, sending cold water splashing.

The scene on the ice field became awe-inspiring. Countless Kala Star people gathered around the ice hole, scrambling to jump in.

The water level inside the ice hole rose rapidly, eventually reaching the ice layer's surface due to water pressure.

Plop, plop...

The Kala Star people seemed to have gone mad. The dozens-of-meters-wide ice hole was almost blocked by their bodies, and the number entering the seawater increased rapidly.

Once in the seawater, the Kala Star people didn't dive directly. Instead, they clustered together, tightly gripping their companions to form a sphere, resisting the low temperature and the water pressure from diving.

This insane scene of the Kala Star people was captured by satellites. The high-ranking members of the Human Alliance watched in stunned silence. They all had the same thought: Dika, the king of the Kala Star people, had gone mad.

Dika wasn't mad. To reach the deep sea, this was the fastest and most effective method. They had used this method to survive in space, let alone the deep sea.

The Kala Star people did have the ability to cultivate creatures that could dive into the deep sea, but that took time. They only had embryos of such creatures, not fully grown ones.

The Kala Star people jumped into the sea en masse, and the 'biological sphere' in the water grew larger and larger.

Those who had just jumped in immediately joined the 'biological sphere.' The sphere expanded far faster than it sank, and all the Kala Star people held their breath, temporarily preventing the sphere from descending.

The terrifying aspect of the Kala Star people was revealed: their spine-chilling discipline. It was a wonder how humanity had withstood their attacks in the early stages, persisting until now and even gaining the upper hand.

The current Kala Star people were not at their peak. They had just been severely beaten by the Human Alliance. Creatures as powerful as the 'War Behemoth' once numbered in the thousands in their stockpile.

The Kala Star people's sea-jumping continued for half an hour. Dika floated in midair, sensing that only half of the Kala Star people remained on the ice. It then plunged into the sea.

As Dika jumped in, the 'biological sphere' formed by the Kala Star people opened. Dika entered the very center, and the sphere closed.

The sea-jumping continued. After another half hour, the last Kala Star person on the ice jumped into the sea. All Kala Star people on Earth had entered the water. Their only target was Dika's goal: kill Su Xiao for revenge.

The ugly spacecraft hovered in midair, now empty of Kala Star people.

In the seawater, the massive 'biological sphere' formed by the Kala Star people floated beneath the ice layer.

Gurgle, gurgle. Streams of bubbles emerged from the sphere as all Kala Star people expelled the air from their lungs. The sphere began to sink into the sea, positioned directly above the sperm whale.

As the sphere descended, the outer layers of Kala Star people froze stiff, detached from the sphere, and drifted in the seawater, becoming corpses that attracted various fish.

This was the Kala Star people's final desperate counterattack. Their leader, Dika, had given the order, staking the entire race's strength to kill one person.

The number of these Kala Star people was in the millions. If Su Xiao hadn't chosen to sink into the deep sea with the coordinates, the Third Coordinate would have been destroyed long ago.

After the biological sphere sank for an hour, casualties skyrocketed. The immense water pressure caused their internal organs to rupture, and the sphere rapidly shrank.

But the sheer number of millions of Kala Star people was too vast. When fully clustered together, they managed to withstand the water pressure with their bodies alone. This was a special ability of their race, an emergency measure when their spacecraft was damaged in space, ensuring the group's survival.

Creak...

A harsh sound came from the seawater as the biological sphere was tightly compressed by the water pressure, sinking even faster.

At the sphere's center, Dika's gaze was icy. Its spatial ability allowed it to sense a fluctuation directly below—a coordinate device was being generated.

Once that device was completed, the Kala Star people would be defeated. But Dika no longer cared about that. It wanted revenge. That human had driven the Kala Star people to the brink.

Su Xiao watched this scene through the screen. The Kala Star people's ruthlessness was somewhat unexpected.

He couldn't make a move to guard the coordinates, or his fate would be dire. Though he couldn't guard them, he could move them. With no enemies nearby, the judgment was that he was determining the coordinate's placement location.

Walking through the sperm whale's esophagus, Su Xiao arrived before its stomach, looking at the gastric sac resembling a pool of acid.

He tried placing the World Coordinate into the stomach acid. The device, made of rare metal, showed no signs of corrosion.

Noticing this, Su Xiao tossed the World Coordinate far into the stomach acid.

Plop. The acid splashed, and the World Coordinate sank into it.

Time remaining until the World Coordinate was established: three hours.
