After lying for a few minutes, Su Xiao recovered. He took a deep breath. The air was unusually fresh, with the scent of soil and a faint sweetness, quickly clearing his mind and dispelling the lingering effects of the dizziness.
Su Xiao looked around. Everywhere he saw was barren—black earth devoid of any vegetation. The sky was low and oppressive, dark and heavy.
