As Su Xiao spoke, he took out a signal flare. The flare shot into the sky without a blinding flash or explosive sound. This item would help Bubu Wang and Amu locate Su Xiao’s position, allowing them to rendezvous with him faster.

Mages: The daily lives of mages are mostly occupied by "research." Those who use magic for purposes other than research are a minority, such as using magic to replace manual labor.
The strength of a mage is determined by the number of Magic Circuits within their body. The number of Magic Circuits is fixed at birth and cannot normally be increased through external means. Therefore, mages accumulate bloodlines over generations, allowing their descendants to be born with bodies suited for magic, thus possessing more Magic Circuits innately.
Heroic Spirits: Only "heroes" whose great deeds have been passed down as legends and become objects of faith after death can become Heroic Spirits. Typically, Heroic Spirits are summoned by the World as a force to protect humanity, while those summoned by humans are called Servants.
Main Quest: Battle of the Holy Grail.
Hunt Quest: Eliminate Violator No. 10777 (External Invading Contractor; due to initial regulations, cannot be forcibly executed).

Seeing the main quest information, Su Xiao raised an eyebrow. The main quest was surprisingly concise. While not simple, it didn’t require him to do anything specific—just survive.
There were two reasons for such a unique main quest. First, Su Xiao’s identity as a "Heroic Spirit." Although he wasn’t an energy being, the system classified him as one. Second, Su Xiao entered the world simultaneously with a large adventure group. From a balance perspective, it made sense to give him a relatively straightforward main quest. If a weaker Contractor had received this, they wouldn’t have been assigned a Lv.37 difficulty quest—likely something lower, like Lv.30.

Su Xiao didn’t reply. He simply flicked away the cigarette butt in his hand. Sparks scattered. In the alley outside the wall, a flash of blade light passed by.
A man with white hair and slightly dark skin walked out of the alley. He held a short sword and wore a tight red-and-black coat, his expression wary. He had witnessed the scene where Cu Chulainn was beaten into the ground earlier.
This was a Heroic Spirit, and his origin was quite interesting. He was a future version of Emiya Shirou. It was hard to imagine that Emiya Shirou would become a Heroic Spirit in the future, and even take the Archer class.
“Who are you?”
Heroic Spirit Emiya’s eyes held both caution and confusion. In his memory, Emiya Shirou’s Servant was not Su Xiao.
“Just an unknown Heroic Spirit.”
“An unknown Heroic Spirit? I don’t think an unknown Heroic Spirit could beat Lancer into the dirt.”
“Who knows? Maybe it’s because he’s too weak.”
As Su Xiao spoke, a figure leaped onto the wall and sat beside him. It was Bubu Wang, who had arrived. Bubu Wang’s sudden appearance surprised Heroic Spirit Emiya. Before Bubu revealed himself, he hadn’t sensed the dog’s presence at all. Such stealth skills were on par with, if not superior to, the Assassin class. In reality, Bubu Wang’s stealth abilities completely outclassed Assassin.

Ice crystals formed as a tall figure approached from a distance. Seeing this figure, Heroic Spirit Emiya instinctively thought another Heroic Spirit had arrived.
Amu walked over, carrying a large bag of snacks. In her cat form, Beini sat on his shoulder and yawned.
Amu stood beneath the wall, positioning himself between Su Xiao and Heroic Spirit Emiya. Seeing this, Heroic Spirit Emiya’s cheek twitched. It made him wonder if Emiya Shirou had somehow summoned three Servants at once.
In reality, if Beini transformed into her jungle leopard form, with her True Agility attribute of 99 points, her combat power would be considerable.

A female voice came from behind Heroic Spirit Emiya. Hearing this voice, Emiya Shirou was startled.

Before Emiya Shirou could finish, a girl in a red dress stepped out of the shadows. She looked youthful and radiant, with a short skirt and long stockings giving her a blend of pure and mature beauty.
The newcomer was Tohsaka Rin, daughter of the scapegoat Tohsaka Tokiomi, master of Heroic Spirit Emiya, and one of the favorites in this Holy Grail War, being a descendant of one of the three great mage families.
Tohsaka Rin crossed her arms and stood beside Heroic Spirit Emiya, smiling at the bewildered Emiya Shirou in the courtyard. Though it sounded awkward, that was exactly the situation.
“With that dumbfounded look on your face, you’re definitely a novice. Anyway, good evening, Emiya-kun.”
Tohsaka Rin tilted her head and smiled at Emiya Shirou. Bubu Wang on the wall snorted lightly, as if sensing the sour smell of romance in the air.
Tohsaka Rin appeared calm, but inside, she felt like ten thousand alpacas were stampeding through her mind. Emiya Shirou’s lineup was simply too strong. No matter how she looked at it, it was a combination of three Heroic Spirits—practically cheating.
Others summoned only one Heroic Spirit, but Emiya Shirou had summoned three at once, with a cat thrown in as a bonus. Even if it was cheating, this was going too far.
