The man swung his hand down. The giant lance in the sky descended, heading straight for the buildings in the city center, where the Rube City government building was located.

The giant dark elemental lance pierced into the cluster of buildings. The ground shook as if struck by a hammer. Large sections of surrounding buildings shattered and collapsed.
"Void!"
The man above the Embrace of Rube statue glared angrily. The giant dark elemental lance began to twist and shrink, transforming into a black vortex, like a black hole.

The surrounding buildings trembled incessantly. With a crack, a large chunk of concrete wall was torn off by the suction force and flew toward the black hole.
The moment the concrete wall touched the black hole, it was instantly shredded, decomposed into atomic states, and scattered into the air.
Buildings within several hundred meters of the black hole were affected by the suction force. In an instant, everything near the black hole was absorbed and decomposed, creating a semi-circular crater.
This wasn't what shocked the civilians of Rube City the most. Compared to the slowly toppling Embrace of Rube statue, the razed government building was nothing.
