The Slaughter Shortsword appeared in Su Xiao's hand, its blade pressed against Karui's neck.

Karui tilted her head back forcefully, her shoulder joints cracking audibly.
With a *shlash*, the Slaughter Shortsword sliced open Karui's throat.

Su Xiao flicked the blood off the shortsword. Soon, Karui died from excessive blood loss.
The Fourth Great Ninja War had fully begun. In the main battlefield of the desert region, numerous reanimated dead clashed with living ninjas. Both the White Zetsu forces and the Allied Shinobi Forces suffered heavy casualties.
The heaviest losses were undoubtedly in the Second Unit of the Allied Shinobi Forces, which was nearly annihilated.

"Who are you?"
Madara scrutinized Su Xiao. He didn't attack directly because Su Xiao didn't look like a good person. On the battlefield, villains were usually allies—at least, that's what Madara thought.
"An associate of Obito's."
"Obito..."
Madara's eyes narrowed. He knew Obito had been using his identity, which was part of the plan he had set before his death.
"It seems you know a lot."
Madara was now certain that Su Xiao was on their side.
"Of course. I'm the one who started this war."
Su Xiao looked at the trees beneath Madara's feet. They were incredibly dense, forming an almost sealed cage. If he wasn't mistaken, the current Five Kage were trapped inside, waiting to die. Soon, the pollen from the Flower World's descent would completely destroy their nervous systems.
From every angle, Su Xiao had started this war. Obito was only responsible for the declaration, and Su Xiao had been present during that declaration.
Su Xiao had captured the most tailed beasts—there was no doubt about that. During the Five Kage Summit, Obito had basically been a spectator. Su Xiao had killed the Kage; the deaths of the Fourth Raikage and the Fifth Mizukage had forced the war to begin early.
