# Chapter 1901: The East Window Incident
After the introductions, the Nine-Tailed Fox led Dawn into the interior of the Mysterious Beast Forest.
The inside was completely different from the outside. Various spiritual medicines and miraculous pills were everywhere. Dawn's group of subordinates gasped as they looked at the rare herbs in the grass, lamenting that the treasures considered precious outside were nothing more than weeds here.
Along the way, they gazed at the towering Bear Mysterious Beasts and the mighty Tigers, still feeling as if they were in a fantasy.
Mysterious Beasts! With formidable strength and fierce skills, they had only ever heard of them before. Now, they had actually entered their lair.
In the past, they had heard others say that even entering the outer perimeter of the Mysterious Beast Forest was fraught with difficulty. Now, they had all entered the inner circle. The feeling was simply indescribable.
Their hearts surged with emotion, and naturally, their admiration for Dawn flowed like an endless river, ceaseless and boundless.
But Dawn knew that the Mysterious Beasts in this forest only submitted to the rule of the Nine-Tailed Fox. To make them help her, she would have to prove herself with strength.
Although they were showing absolute friendliness now, it was only out of respect for the Nine-Tailed Fox and the Qilin.
And she was still very weak now, too weak to challenge any of them.
She could only improve herself, to gain the ability to deal with everything.
At the interior, it looked like a castle built from vines, lush and green. The round, square, and various other shaped houses were, needless to say, where they lived.
The Nine-Tailed Fox had Dawn take the high seat, while Dawn's group of subordinates had already been taken by the Mysterious Beasts of the forest to be settled. The Nine-Tailed Fox observed the surroundings, and only after confirming no one was around did he speak: "Last time, those demonic beasts were merely probing the strength of our Mysterious Beast Forest. It seems they will make a major move soon."
Dawn pursed her lips, thinking of the Phoenix. She could no longer wait. She had to recover to her peak state. It seemed she would need to go into seclusion to cultivate. Otherwise, when the demonic beasts attacked again, she would be unable to do anything. And establishing her power was also urgent.
Thinking this, she looked at the Nine-Tailed Fox and said, "I want to go into seclusion and cultivate in your Mysterious Beast Forest. Is there a good place?"
The Nine-Tailed Fox knew she was no ordinary woman. He knew that, like the Qilin, she had the Phoenix on her mind. And the Phoenix was the son of the Demonic Beast King.
There was too much strangeness here. They all wanted to know what was hidden beneath it all.
"There is a place, but if you want to break through better..."
"I know. Only through battle can one break through better."
Before the Nine-Tailed Fox could finish, Dawn interrupted him. As she spoke, she glanced at the other beasts. Although they wore smiles on their faces, their dissatisfaction was obvious. Mysterious Beasts were arrogant. They did not like their master calling a human their master, especially because of the Qilin's connection.
Most importantly, this human was still so weak.
They were unconvinced.
"I want to challenge them." Dawn spoke solemnly.
The few beasts did not expect Dawn to say this. They were somewhat surprised. Few humans dared to speak like this before them. The humans they usually saw were all afraid. But this person—truly different.
They were straightforward. In their view, the bigger fist was the real truth. They did not doubt that Dawn lacked the ability, because when she said this, the aura emanating from her was definitely that of a strong one. And her momentum was as powerful as a king's, not inferior to the Nine-Tailed Fox.
Although they were beasts and not good at all these twists and turns, they were more sensitive to momentum.
"By the way, after those demonic beasts came, where did they go?" Dawn suddenly thought of this question. Those demonic beasts coming here would always leave some traces.
Back then, the Phoenix had disappeared in a puff of smoke. Everything was hard to fathom. And this time...
"They disappeared very quickly, as if they came suddenly and vanished just as suddenly," the Nine-Tailed Fox said, taking a Holy Heaven Fruit and taking a bite before continuing, "There should be a strong one who opened a space tunnel for them, allowing them to disappear instantly."
Dawn was shocked. A space tunnel!
"Does this world have a Saint Mysterious expert?" Dawn exclaimed in surprise. She knew how difficult cultivation was, and how much harder it was to reach the Saint Mysterious level.
She was an alchemist, and even for her, reaching that level was extremely difficult, let alone others in this world.
"I suspect it's someone from the Magic Illusion Island," the Nine-Tailed Fox said calmly, his gaze turning deep as water. That place had always coexisted peacefully with their Mysterious Beast Forest, never interfering with each other. It seemed the current tripartite balance in this world was about to be broken.
"Magic Illusion Island..." Dawn murmured. This was not the first time she had heard that name. She had forgotten how she felt when she first heard it. Now, hearing it again only made her feel an infinite oppression.
That place was like a mystery, hiding too many things. She wanted to tear open that membrane and reveal what was inside.
But for now, she did not have the strength.
She clenched her hands, but then heard the Nine-Tailed Fox say, "If the Magic Illusion Island has indeed reached some agreement with the demonic beasts, that would be the most terrifying thing."
Dawn understood and did not respond.
"Take me to see that place. Tomorrow, I will take them for training." Dawn said with a faint smile.
The Nine-Tailed Fox nodded and agreed.
Along the way, the Nine-Tailed Fox led Dawn along a small path. Clearly, the interior of the Mysterious Beast Forest was incredibly vast. They walked for a long time, passing by many poisonous creatures along the way, making Dawn's heart jump. There were also many traps and hidden weapons on the path. It seemed this was their secret base, used to deal with enemies.
And now, they were going to train here.
Everything inside was ready-made. What Dawn had originally planned to prepare was all here, and it was even more dangerous than she had imagined.
Going further ahead, a white mist shrouded the sky above a large area of forest ahead.
Seeing this, Dawn's pupils contracted sharply: "Poison Mist Forest."
The Nine-Tailed Fox heard this, turned around, and looked at her in confusion: "How do you know?"
Dawn's eyelids twitched. Damn it, she could smell the deadly poison from eight zhang away. Others might not notice anything different, but she had been practicing with poison all along and was most sensitive to this kind of gas. So, as soon as she caught the scent, she understood: "I forgot to tell you, one of my favorite things to do is practice poison."
Upon hearing this, the Nine-Tailed Fox mechanically stepped a little farther away.
Dawn found it amusing: "Don't worry, I won't use it on you."
The Nine-Tailed Fox was not really afraid of her. He also knew that Dawn would not use poison on him. He was just surprised that Dawn knew so much.
"Take this and swallow it." The Nine-Tailed Fox took out a fruit from his hand and handed it to Dawn.
Dawn looked at it. This kind of fruit was abundant inside the Mysterious Beast Forest, simply countless. Probably no one would have thought that the antidote to such a poison mist would be this little thing.
Dawn took it but did not go further in: "Let's stop here. I'll go in tomorrow."
The Nine-Tailed Fox nodded and led her back the way they came.
After resting for a night, the Qilin, having learned from last time, no longer served raw meat. Instead, he prepared all the meat and placed it on plates.
The Bear King and others from the Mysterious Beast Forest also took their seats and had dinner with Dawn and the others.
Night Fox had also entered the Mysterious Beast Forest. Afraid of getting too close and being discovered by Dawn, he followed from a great distance.
He had not forgotten the sharp, eagle-like look in Dawn's eyes when he first saw her.
Originally, he had been following only a little far away, but then he suddenly discovered that she was meeting with people from the Mysterious Beast Forest! He knew she had taken away those three little beasts last time, but he did not expect her to know the beasts here as well.
Mysterious Beasts had sharper senses than humans, so he had to follow from even farther away. Because of the distance, he could not hear what they were saying at all.
By the time he realized they had already left and caught up, he found that this woman walked incredibly fast.
Finally, after much difficulty, he found them, only to see them having dinner.
He was a little hungry. The Mysterious Beast Forest was not like the outside. It was easy to be discovered inside. As long as one Mysterious Beast detected his presence, the king here would immediately know.
He looked at Dawn, the longing in his heart intense. He could only watch her from afar now, watching her face, her movements, the food on her plate, her swallowing.
Then, thinking of her, thinking of the food on her plate.
Wanting to swallow her into his stomach, and also wanting to swallow what was on her plate into his stomach.
Why did he feel so perverted?
He swallowed his saliva. He, the dignified leader of a sect, how could he have such evil thoughts?
Just as he suppressed his thoughts, the Nine-Tailed Fox suddenly narrowed his eyes and glanced in his direction.
Night Fox immediately dared not breathe.
"Who's there!" Suddenly, a loud shout came from inside. Eagle King spun around and appeared behind Night Fox, then punched at him.
Night Fox snorted coldly. He had not expected this beast's senses to exceed his imagination. He raised his hand, and a flash of light passed through his palm, then countless palm prints shot toward Eagle King.
Eagle King was greatly startled. He had not expected this person to be so powerful. He felt the immense energy within, and even this casual move put tremendous pressure on him.
He let out a loud roar, and suddenly a phantom burst out from his body. The shadow grew larger and larger, then collided with the light shadow that Night Fox had sent out.
With a loud bang, Eagle King's phantom shattered, but Night Fox remained as before.
Dawn clenched her hands as she looked at him. He had improved, and not just a little.
"This friend, what business do you have intruding into the interior of our Mysterious Beast Forest?" The Nine-Tailed Fox's voice was somewhat low. This human had actually reached their interior and was only discovered now.
Night Fox turned his head. Only then did he notice that beside the Nine-Tailed Fox sat the three mutated Qilin beasts that Dawn had taken away before. He seemed to understand.
And the three little beasts also recognized Night Fox. Although they had not spent much time with him back then, they knew him. So, the three of them tugged at the Nine-Tailed Fox's clothes and said, "Father, he is Grandmother's friend."
