Chapter 557: Uncontrollable Pacifista

“They’re here!”
Crocodile and Jinbe had both landed on the Sky Island Barron Gray Terminal with Ian before, so just like him, the moment they saw the balloons beneath that cloud, they immediately understood.
The others, however, were still puzzled, not knowing what they meant by “they’re here.”
But after observing for a while, they also noticed something strange: when this cloud arrived over Amazon Lily, it actually stopped moving and stayed put.
“Ah! I remember now!” Nami suddenly gasped, covering her mouth. She recalled that Ian had once mentioned on Angel Sky Island that he also owned a Sky Island—could this be it!?
But… but can Sky Islands actually move!?
Hmm!? It seems they can move, but isn’t that just drifting passively with high-altitude currents? Why can Ian’s Sky Island choose where to stop on its own?
Nami was a bit confused. She had only ever seen Enel’s Sky Island, so Ian’s seemed very strange to her.
Enel felt the same. After returning, he had been sitting alone in silence, seemingly shaken by being captured during his fight with Vice Admiral Momousagi, so he barely spoke. But when he saw the drifting cloud in the sky, he stood up and looked upward.
“S-someone!?” a sharp-eyed prisoner suddenly shouted, pointing at the sky. “Someone’s coming down from the cloud!”
Everyone quickly looked in the direction he pointed. Sure enough, several black dots appeared above, slowly growing larger until they could make out a group of figures.
Ian smiled. He knew it was members of the Dragon Hunter Pirates coming down to welcome him.
Before leaving Sabaody Archipelago for Amazon Lily, Ian had contacted Fujitora and the others via Den Den Mushi, instructing them to steer the Sky Island to Amazon Lily to rendezvous with him.
Although the Sky Island moved slowly, relying on the rotation of electric windmills, traveling through the sky was far more advantageous than sailing on the sea. As long as they kept a straight course, they could come in a direct line.
Moreover, being at high altitude, the harsh weather of the Grand Line had little effect on the Sky Island. At most, encountering a hurricane would reduce its propulsion—yes, just reduce it, because a hurricane couldn’t blow away such a massive Sky Island; after all, it wasn’t truly made of clouds.
Ian’s timing was fairly accurate. The day after the prison break, the Sky Island arrived over Amazon Lily.
As the figures descended, Ian could make them out clearly. It was Reiju and Robin, along with several members of the Dragon Hunter Pirates, holding a string of balloons as they slowly floated down.
“Yohohoho!” Brook, the skeleton, looked up at the sky and let out a delighted laugh, his face reddening.
He seemed to have caught a glimpse of what was under Robin and Reiju’s skirts… No help for it—both were wearing short skirts, and though they used one hand to hold them down as they descended, it was still faintly visible.
Damn! That’s too much! You perverted skeleton dare to peek!?
But before Ian could act, Brook’s head was already kicked by the furious Sanji, while Nami’s invincible queenly fist landed on Brook’s head.
Attacked by two people at once, Brook was done for!
“Hmph, idiot!” Nami blew on her fist, then turned to Sanji with a strange look. “Hey, Sanji, you’re not siding with Brook today?”
Sanji calmly lit a cigarette and said, “That’s my sister. I can’t tolerate him peeping on her!”
“Oh!” Nami put her hands on her hips, looking pleased. “I didn’t expect you to actually defend your sister!”
“Of course!” Sanji replied to Nami, but then his legs suddenly turned to jelly as he ran toward Robin’s landing spot, raising his hands and shouting lecherously, “Beautiful Miss Robin! Your knight has arrived!”
“Sanji!!! Get back here!” Nami instantly went berserk. She hadn’t expected Sanji to still be on Brook’s side—he was just targeting Robin instead.
But before he could run far, Ian tripped him with a kick…
Nami gave Ian a thumbs-up in approval, while Ian stepped on Sanji and struck a peace sign at Nami, signaling, “Don’t mention it—fighting perverts is everyone’s duty…”
“Hehe, what a lively scene!” After landing, Robin smiled at Ian.
Before Ian could reply, Nami ran over, hugged Robin, and rubbed her face against her chest, saying, “Sister Robin! I missed you so much!”
Robin smiled and stroked Nami’s hair, exchanging a few words, then Nami let go and ran over to hug Reiju, rubbing against her too.
During their adventure on Angel Sky Island, Nami had grown close to both Robin and Reiju. Seeing them again after so long apart naturally made her excited.
“Ahh! It must be nice to be a girl…” Brook and Sanji lay on the ground, looking up at Nami’s actions, dying of envy and wishing they could take her place. But Ian caught their lecherous expressions and stomped on them again.
“Hmph, serves you right!” Zoro crossed his arms, gloating at Sanji.
Zeke and the other Dragon Hunter Pirates members landed and excitedly gathered around, shouting, “Captain! We’re here!”
Ian happily patted their shoulders and said, “Good to have you here. Any problems on the way?”
“Well…” Zeke scratched his head. “You’ll have to go up and let Fujitora explain.”
Ian’s heart stirred. He sensed something might have happened on the way, so he stopped talking and nodded in understanding.
Matthew and Dorry also came over excitedly to greet Zeke and the others.
The prisoners, however, stared blankly at the scene. They couldn’t figure out how these people had fallen from the sky, and it seemed they were Ian’s subordinates!
When they came to their senses, they noticed that these people all had the same Dragon Hunter Pirates tattoo as Ian.
Suddenly, many prisoners’ hearts began to burn with hope. They felt that, sooner or later, they might also have such a tattoo…
Although most prisoners already knew Ian was a Revolutionary Army member, for them, being a pirate or a revolutionary made little difference—both meant opposing the Marines. The only difference was that as pirates, they had committed every evil, but now under Ian, they might have to restrain themselves a bit.
Taking the large string of balloons that Zeke and the others had brought down from the cloud, Ian distributed them and said to everyone, “Let’s go. Up we go!”
“Ohhh!” The prisoners cheered and excitedly grabbed the balloons.
Law, Urouge, and the others exchanged glances, seeing the keen interest in each other’s eyes.
And so, a peculiar scene unfolded: over a hundred figures swayed as they floated toward the sky, each nervously clutching two balloons, screaming in fright as they looked down, yet excitedly looking up at the ever-growing cloud and shouting.
Before long, they passed through the thick cloud layer using the balloons, and their eyes widened. A massive city suddenly appeared before them all.
“Oh my god! Th-this is the Dragon Hunter Pirates’ territory!? It’s incredible!” the prisoners exclaimed.
Luffy and Chopper had already run off ahead, full of joy…
Law, Urouge, and Enel were also stunned by the sight. They hadn’t expected the person they had come to join to possess such an astonishing island.
It seemed they had made the right choice in latching onto this powerful figure…
But just as everyone was still marveling, three massive figures suddenly appeared, crashing down in front of them.
The moment Chopper saw them, he screamed in terror and ran back.
Law and Urouge immediately tensed up, drawing their weapons and charging forward, ready to fight.
“D-damn! It’s a Pacifista!” Zoro crouched, his hand on his sword hilt, also ready to join the battle.
Only Ian, though surprised, wasn’t as tense. He knew that if Reiju and the others had come down to welcome him, the island must be safe. These Pacifistas were likely the three that Kuma had sent flying from Sabaody Archipelago.
But just as Ian thought this, the three Pacifistas raised their right hands, the laser ports in their palms aimed at the crowd, emitting a blinding light.
“Th-this… they’ve gone out of control!?” Ian immediately sensed something was wrong and prepared to fight.
However, at that moment, the three Pacifistas suddenly floated up as if weightless, losing their footing in the air and unable to control their attack direction. Three laser beams shot out, but they went in three different directions, missing everyone.
“Ah, sorry, sorry!” At the same time, a figure ran over. It was Fujitora. He looked a bit embarrassed as he said to Ian, “Sorry, Captain. I slipped up just now and couldn’t control them—they got out…”
“Wh-what’s going on?” Ian was confused and asked, “Can’t these Pacifistas be controlled?”
“Well… I’m not entirely sure either!” Fujitora chuckled. “Actually, ever since we received these three packages from you, they’ve been causing chaos on the island. You’ll have to let Waldo explain it to you in person…”
