Chapter 517: Pirate Empress Nami
After dealing with Vice Admiral Momonga, Ian still had one problem: the entire ship full of petrified Marine soldiers.
Ian certainly couldn't leave these Marine soldiers on the ship, so he found a place and casually settled them down. Once everything was finished, Boa Hancock would find them and undo their petrification.
Meanwhile, under the cover of night, the Ark Maxim approached the warship.
A floating plank was set up from the ship, and a large group of people came aboard the warship. Law with his Heart Pirates, Urouge with his Fallen Monk Pirates, plus the Straw Hat Pirates crew—the numbers were about right.
"Go to the cabins; there should be spare uniforms for these Marine soldiers there!" Ian commanded. "Everyone, finish your disguises as quickly as possible."
Just as Ian had said, inside the warship's cabins, there were indeed spare uniforms for the Marine soldiers. The ordinary sailors from the pirate crews disguised themselves as regular Marines, while Law and the others disguised themselves as Marine officers.
Everyone who finished their disguise came up to the deck for Ian's inspection.
Urouge's wings were a bit troublesome, so Ian had him wear an overcoat to cover them up. Enel didn't want to wear the uniform, so Ian told him to stay in the cabin for now.
Luffy also came out wearing a Marine officer's uniform, but the guy still had a pair of flip-flops on his feet, looking mismatched and awkward. Chopper transformed into his human form and put on the uniform, looking quite burly, though he was a bit too hairy. As for Brook, the skeleton man, Ian had no choice and thought maybe he could pretend to be a dead Marine soldier...
As for Sanji, Zoro, and Trafalgar Law, once they put on the Marine uniforms, they actually looked the part—full of heroic spirit. The three of them were just starting to compete over who looked cooler in the uniform when, at that moment, Sanji suddenly let out a howling wolf cry! His legs turned to jelly as he charged toward the cabin!
He slid to his knees on the deck, arms spread wide, staring with infatuation at Nami, who had just walked out, and praised in a sickeningly sweet tone: "My goddess! Have you finally descended to the mortal world!?"
Drawn by his exaggerated movements, Ian also looked over and saw Nami wearing a white Marine uniform, a coat draped over her shoulders, black gloves on her hands, and a longsword at her waist, striding out step by step with her long legs.
Seeing this, even Ian couldn't help but have his eyes light up!
Nami looked absolutely stunning in the uniform! Her orange hair was tied up in a bun at the back of her head, and she wore two pearl earrings on her earlobes. She exuded both heroic grace and youthful vitality. Compared to Tina and Kuina, whom Ian had seen, she was both similar and unique, presenting a completely different charm.
"How is it, Ian?" Nami leaned against the mast, one hand on her hip and the other on the mast, striking a pose as she asked Ian.
"Amazing!" Ian gave her a thumbs-up and said, "Looks like you're really suited for a Marine outfit."
By this time, Sanji was already completely bewitched by Nami's uniform temptation...
Hearing Ian's praise, Nami looked very happy and playfully stuck out her tongue, saying, "Actually, I really did want to be a Marine once..."
That was true; Nami's mother had once been a female Marine soldier too...
After trying on the Marine uniform, Nami boldly grabbed the collar and ripped it off, revealing her sexy bikini top underneath, and said to Ian, "Alright, hand it over!"
Ian nodded, opened a small box he had brought, and took out a new set of clothes.
In Ian's plan, he had never intended for Nami to disguise herself as a female Marine soldier. Unfortunately, on Momonga's ship, there were no female Marine soldiers at all. As the only woman among the group, Ian actually planned for her to disguise herself as someone else.
The Pirate Empress, Boa Hancock!
Yes, in the small box Ian brought were Boa Hancock's clothes and earrings, along with a set of black wigs.
Ian planned to head to Impel Down, but he didn't intend to bring the real Boa Hancock along. In Ian's plan, he didn't plan to sneak in alone but to launch a frontal assault.
With so many people now, if he still used a sneaky infiltration method, that would be really low-class.
Now that Ian had secretly swapped Vice Admiral Momonga and the entire ship's crew, once they attacked Impel Down, Marine Headquarters would immediately get word, and it would implicate Boa Hancock!
So Ian decided not to have Boa Hancock personally go. Since he was determined to launch a frontal assault, having Boa Hancock join in would cause her Warlord title to be revoked. Instead, Ian would have Boa Hancock stay behind. When Momonga's deadline was almost up, she would contact Marine Headquarters and ask why the ship sent to pick her up hadn't arrived!
That way, the whole incident would be disconnected from Boa Hancock, because they would find out that the Vice Admiral Momonga and the Pirate Empress heading to Impel Down were both fakes!
Even if the Marines suspected Boa Hancock of being Ian's accomplice in attacking Impel Down, without evidence, they could only swallow their teeth and blood!
Boa Hancock had helped Ian, so Ian naturally had to consider her interests. He could give up his Warlord title, but Boa Hancock needed hers.
As for whether Nami's disguise as Boa Hancock would be exposed, Ian wasn't worried at all. People all over the world praised the Pirate Empress's beauty, but how many had actually seen Boa Hancock?
Nami was already a beautiful young woman. Once she put on Boa Hancock's clothes, if Ian said she was the Empress, then she was!
And even if she was exposed, it didn't matter. Ian had Nami disguise as Boa Hancock just to fool the patrols outside Impel Down and the gate guards. Once the gates of Impel Down opened, the rest would be easy...
After all, Ian's trip to Impel Down was completely different from Luffy's in the original history. This time, he had two goals: first, to rescue Sea Knight Jinbe and Ivankov, and second, he planned to kill!
Kill who? The group of villains that Blackbeard Teach had taken from Level 6 back then!
History was already different. Ian didn't know if Teach would still target Impel Down and come to take his original Four Emperor crew, but Ian knew that this time, he was ahead of Teach. If he killed all the dangerous pirates imprisoned there during the attack on Impel Down and destroyed the prison, then even if Teach really came to Impel Down, he would end up empty-handed!
No matter how he looked at it, this move wouldn't be a loss!
At the same time, when he made the plan to attack Impel Down two days ago, Ian also contacted Fujitora and the others, telling them to meet up with him before heading to the New Edd War waters in the New World to officially intervene in the war!
By this time, Nami had also finished putting on Boa Hancock's clothes. She put on the wig and attached the snake-shaped earrings to her earlobes.
There was a reason Sanji was infatuated with Nami. Nami was truly a clothes hanger—tall, with a slender waist and long legs, and most importantly, well-endowed! So no matter what she wore, she could showcase a unique beauty.
Now, dressed in Boa Hancock's clothes, her every move exuded a mature charm, making her seven or eight-tenths similar to Boa Hancock.
With every gesture, the pale skin faintly visible beneath her skirt drove Sanji wild, and his nosebleed had already pooled on the floor.
Especially since Nami also had a queenly demeanor. In the Straw Hat Pirates, she was always ordering everyone around. Now, dressed in Boa Hancock's outfit, she looked even more like the Empress...
Seeing Nami's style, Ian felt much more at ease. It seemed this would be even more reliable.
"Set off! Advance under the cover of night!" Ian said. "By noon tomorrow, we'll reach Impel Down..."
