Chapter 484: The Red Force
Perhaps influenced by the gentle personality of his master, Koushirou, Ian was not someone who liked to curse. Yet now, he was throwing around "this old man" left and right, showing just how annoyed he really was.
He knew that these CP6 agents were probably genuinely delivering a message from the Marines to him, but so what? If he wanted to listen, he would; if he didn't, what could they do about it?
That plate was Ian's angry strike, smashing Jerry's face into a blooming mess. For a pretentious piece of trash like that, a plate was the least of it.
Robin looked at Ian in shock, never expecting him to attack CP personnel without even asking why. But then, thinking it over, she suddenly understood. Ian must have seen the fear in her heart and was proving to her, in this way, that his promise from before was real.
Following a captain like this really was reassuring... Robin felt a warmth in her heart, and her panic faded away.
The CP6 members were stunned for a moment when they saw their captain get hit. After coming to their senses, they hurriedly helped Jerry up. But Jerry, his face covered in blood, shook off his colleagues' support as he stood up. Enraged and humiliated, he revealed the boxing gloves on his hands and shouted at Ian, "Damn it! I'm an intelligence agent of the World Government! So what if you're a Warlord? Attacking me is a capital offense!"
After saying this, he assumed a boxing stance and said furiously, "Fine then, let me see if you're really worthy of being a Warlord!"
"Aurora Lightning Jab!"
Shouting as he moved, Jerry threw a punch down at Ian from above. His punching speed was quite fast, but...
The next second, his striking fist was gently blocked by Ian's right hand.
Opening his palm, Ian caught Jerry's fist, a dangerous glint flashing in his eyes. A smile appeared on his face as he said to Jerry, "Who gave you the mysterious confidence to think that a piece of trash like you could fight a Warlord?"
As he spoke, Ian increased the pressure in his hand. A cracking sound of bones echoed through the tavern, heard by everyone still seated.
With Ian's increasing force, Jerry let out a loud scream. He felt like his fist was about to be crushed, the pain unbearable. He desperately tried to pull his fist back, but found he couldn't break free from Ian's grip.
"Let... let me go!" Jerry screamed in agony. Overwhelmed by the pain, he fell to his knees with a thud.
The other CP6 members, sensing something was wrong, rushed forward. Two men in black suits grabbed Jerry's shoulders from either side, trying to pull his arm back.
But just then, a clear jingling sound came from Ian's right arm. The cursed bandages on his wrist swayed and then vanished from everyone's sight. The next second, a scorching heat that could burn the air itself spread throughout the tavern!
As the black flames appeared on Ian's wrist, Jerry was the first to be affected.
The fist Ian was holding tightly caught fire instantly with black flames. Because the temperature of this black demonic fire was so high, Jerry's arm turned into black charcoal and fell off the moment it was ignited!
Without even feeling the pain, Jerry's entire right arm was gone...
That wasn't the end. After consuming Jerry's right arm, the black flames spread to his body, and then his entire head caught fire!
The stunned onlookers in the tavern watched in disbelief as Jerry, from head to toe, turned into black charcoal in an instant as the flames spread. Wherever the fire went, it turned to charcoal and fell away, creating a surreal scene...
The two CP6 members who had come to pull Jerry back didn't escape this fate either. Their hands touched Jerry's body, and naturally, the black flames caught them too!
In the blink of an eye, three CP6 agents vanished from the world before everyone's eyes. The only evidence of their existence was the three piles of black charcoal dust on the floor...
The tavern was dead silent, the silence suffocating.
After a long moment, a gulp was heard—someone swallowing their saliva—and the tavern came back to life.
And when it did, a collective gasp followed...
After burning Jerry and his two agents to death, Ian sat back down as if nothing had happened, picked up a drink, and took a sip.
The CP6 agents, now terrified, kept their distance from Ian's table. Three living people had disappeared in an instant; anyone would be afraid. They exchanged glances but none dared to approach.
Then, after finishing his drink, Ian slammed the cup down on the table with a crack and said in a low voice, "Get lost!"
His voice was low, but to the CP6 agents, it sounded like thunder. Without a second thought, the remaining CP6 members scrambled away, turning and rushing desperately toward the tavern's entrance, wishing they could grow two more legs to run faster.
So many people trying to squeeze through the door naturally led to jostling. In everyone's eyes, these men in black suits fled in a panic, scrambling over each other, with one even losing his shoes...
After the CP6 agents left, the people in the tavern pretended nothing had happened and continued eating, but none dared to make a sound, not even with their knives and forks. They secretly glanced at Ian's table, feeling extremely uneasy.
These pirates now regretted not leaving earlier. To watch the excitement, they had trapped themselves. If they left now, it would be too obvious...
Ian couldn't care less what they thought. He continued eating.
Reiju rested her chin on her hand and said softly to Ian, "Is this okay? Killing World Government intelligence agents won't cause trouble?"
"Don't worry," Ian said with a smile. "They're not important figures. The World Government won't turn against a Warlord over three agents."
Reiju thought about it and nodded, watching Ian eat with a smile.
Ian then said to Robin, "Sorry, I didn't expect World Government intelligence agents to show up here."
Robin shook her head and said, "You don't need to apologize. On the contrary, I should thank you."
"I told you, as long as I'm here, no one can touch you," Ian said. "Not even Aokiji."
Robin didn't reply, just gave a charming smile. She knew Ian could do it...
As the three continued eating and chatting, the tavern door suddenly burst open again. Ian frowned and looked over, seeing a pirate rush in, pale-faced and panting, looking terrified.
"B-bad news!" the pirate shouted frantically to everyone in the tavern. "On the sea... a ship has appeared on the sea!"
"Shh!!" A man who seemed to be from the same pirate crew quickly stood up, glanced nervously at Ian's table, and whispered to the pirate, "D-don't shout! What's so surprising about a ship? Don't disturb..."
But before he could finish, the pirate gestured wildly and said, "Th-that ship is... the Red Force!"
The people in the tavern were confused. What the hell was the Red Force?
But the next second, a more knowledgeable pirate suddenly remembered and stood up in terror, exclaiming, "R-Red Force!? Th-the Red Hair Pirates!?"
Boom! The pirates in the tavern were stunned, and then it hit them!
Wasn't that right? The flagship of the Red Hair Pirates was called the Red Force!
Oh my god! A Warlord on this island was already shocking enough, and now a Yonko had appeared too!?
"R-run!" someone suddenly shouted, and all the pirates snapped out of it, swarming toward the tavern door.
Technically, a Yonko was also a pirate crew, a fellow pirate to those present. These pirates shouldn't have been so scared. But on the contrary, the name of a Yonko had the greatest deterrent effect on pirates!
Just like the islands under a Yonko's protection, even if the Yonko wasn't there, just having their flag on the island made pirates tread carefully, afraid to cause trouble. Now that a real Yonko had shown up...
If they stayed any longer, who knew if they might anger the Yonko and get their entire crew wiped out?
In just a moment, the tavern was empty, leaving only Ian and his two companions. Even the bartender and owner had hidden away.
Ian stared in disbelief, finding it all a bit exaggerated.
Reiju and Robin were also shocked and couldn't help asking Ian, "What's going on? Why would the Red Hair Pirates suddenly appear here?"
Ian shrugged and spread his hands. "How should I know?"
"Should we leave too?" Reiju asked worriedly. "You've never dealt with the Red Hair Pirates before."
Ian thought for a moment and shook his head. "Don't worry. Red Hair isn't like Kaido or Big Mom, who are unpredictable. As long as we don't provoke them, they won't harm us."
Tossing his knife and fork aside, Ian stood up and smiled. "Come on! Let's go meet this man of the Grand Line, the one with the biggest face!"

Leave Request
Today is Sunday. My family arranged a picnic outing. When using alcohol to light the charcoal, I accidentally got some on my hands. My fingers got burned, and two blisters formed. It's burning painfully. I'm taking a day off today to rest. I'll update tomorrow if I feel better.
What bad luck. The photos posted in the group chat look really rough.
